The apartment was clean and in a great location. The little pool was lovely on the days it was too windy on the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the Water's Edge cafe was a perfect place to have breakfast and supper.

It would have been nice to have a few more pots and pans in the kitchenette otherwise I have no complaints.

Great location minutes from a beach and away from the noise and bustle of main streets. Waterside cafe is fabulous for breakfast.

The bed could have been more comfortable

Actually everything. Nice cosy complex in quiet street. Just a few hunderd meters from the centre. Lovely swimming pool. Large room and balcony. Friendly owners and staff!

All was great!

It's cheap and the location is excellent. Lovely balcony and a nice pool. If you manage to get a top floor room (we didn't, despite requesting when booking - to be fair, we were only there for a night), I expect the sea views would be lovely- from where we were, you could only see it through derelict buildings. Lots of free street parking nearby. Would have been quiet any other day of the week than Saturday, I expect. Well equipped kitchen area. Was very clean and the shower was powerful. Paleochora is a charming little place and we thought we'd made a good choice - as it was, we were really pleased to get back to our main base in Maleme.

Staff were uninterested. Reception unmanned, you have to go to nearby Water;s Edge Cafe to pick up and drop off the keys. Room was an awkward shape due to the lift shaft running through it, which made it noisy too. Bathroom poorly designed - needs a sliding door. Shower tiny. Air con was broken so the cold air blew up rather than down and into the room. The bed...horrendous. Tiny double, thin and poor quality mattress, pillows lumpy. We both had a dreadful night's sleep, not helped by a screaming baby in a nearby room (not the hotel's fault but still...) and loud live music from the Water's Edge Cafe until 1am. I don't like to give bad reviews but I can't recommend this hotel.

I liked a lot the room and the view

The only things that I didn t like was that the aircodition didn t work and there was no one in the reception...

Very relaxed atmosphere. Lovely setting sat the The Waters Edge looking out to sea.
