Good value and OK property

Staff were brilliant very fri and helpful

The picture of entrance on website nothing like reality it’s at the end of a rickety lane with rubbish bags. However once we got our rooms etc it was great

The room was clean and the hotel is in a good location not far from the main area. Easy to park the car on the street outside the hotel. Ran by a very friendly family. Good breakfast.

The shower wasn’t great - was fine to use but could do with a new shower head.

Clean room with basic comfort.

Very small bathroom and a lot of noise from the other guests.

The staff were really welcoming and we even got to choose and pre order a fresh pasty for breakfast!

The room was very clean and presented well. The bedding and sheets where of a very good quality.

It was lucky my husband could speak some Italian as I would have struggled getting the information I needed to get into the apartment over the phone. It was not clear when booking the room about the arrangement of getting the key to the apartment.

parking is on street and depend on availability/luck; we had and got one in front of property heating is only with AC - for winter time would recommend to call owner for starting it half hour before your coming

It was a unique and authentic experience to stay in Agrigento at the bed and breakfast La Cittá degli Dei. The owner is very helpful and kind, he cares about his guests with a personal breakfast (selected croissants, tea/coffee, fresh fruit, sweet pastries). We had a nice stay and enjoyed Agrigento! Mille grazie :)

Ludicrous cupids picture above the bed. I had to take it down and park it face against the wall then forgot to put it back up again!

The owner and the receptionist lady were friendly and nice. We could leave our baggages there for a couple of hours after check out. They still give a delightful breakfast.

Nice host with good recommendations in the city (where to eat) and beautiful view. The prize is reasonable.

We had to wait more than 45 minutes to the host (outside in the storm) in front of the house, despite we let them know when we would arrive in time (on booking message and whatsapp as well) Then I called them twice...

The position is really close to the bus station and not so far from the bus station. The breakfast room has a really nice enclosed balcony where you can see Agrigento's surrondings.

The bathroom was not in the top condition：it was small, it didn't have a bidet, the hairdryer was broken, the toilet seat could not stand up and you couldn't flush toitet paper (never heard of this in Italy). The room insulation was kinda bad, you hear people from other rooms.

Really helpful hosts. We arrived late by bus and were picked up by the host. He also gave us water and took us to a nearby pizzeria that was open late.

No fridge in the room.

I took the small room, it would be good also for more nights. I stayed 1 night. Not much to say, the price beats everything. Don’t worry the place is nice and not cheap, only the price is. The host was very outgoing and great help. Don’t be shy and talk to them. :)
