Booked 2 rooms at 10pm. They have provided both rooms with non-working ACs (which we didn't realise until too late) They made us pay the full amount during check-in. By the time we completed the check-in and dinner, we reached the rooms by 1045pm. At 12pm, one of us in the 1st room noticed that the ac was not starting and asked for a room change. The guys in the 2nd room were too tired to repack and unpack again. So we continued with that room even though the ac was not working. Even the guys who changed their room lost 1 hr of their sleep because of the repacking and unpacking. The hotel management knew that these both rooms' ACs were not working. It appears they gave us those rooms on purpose at that late hour so that we would be too tired to ask for room change. When we asked them about this during check-out, they said that the AC was working and we didn't know how to operate it. (We were 3 guys with Masters degrees from IITs working as Managers in different PSUs) This is completely unprofessional behaviour from the hotel management and not expected from a hotel in a reputed city. Note: 1. Even though they say that parking is available, it is extremely difficult and tight. 2. The 4th floor corridor reels of cigarette smoke. It will enter your room every time you open your door.
