Our family had a fantastic stay in San Antonio in a great location . The home was amazing and the photo's don’t do the home justice. The home was very spacious and clean for our family including the comfortable beds. 2 Kitchens were well appointed as well as the grill outside. Loved the 4 washers and dryers as well. Our granddaughters loved the girl bedrooms, secret hiding space and reading nook. The outdoor pools, playground and basketball court kept the family busy. Courtney was a very informative regarding the home and area. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fun filled weekend! Our 4 grandkids had a blast in the pools, playscape with rock wall, trampoline and b-ball court.
The shade in the backyard made being outdoors all day so much more comfortable!

We had an amazing time, pool was awesome for the kids, house was big enough for 16 of us to mvoe around, enough bed for everyone and in a beautiful neighborhood. Loved San Antonino.

This home was very fun for all ages. We enjoyed the pool and the playground as well as the large living space for our large group! However, if you are an unpacker like we are, this home may not be for you. The family resides here when no one rents it out (which is stated in the description but we failed to see that part) so all of the closets and drawers are filled with their family’s items, which was a bit different to us. Just something to note! We did enjoy our stay and the hosts were very helpful. (:

The house and pool were amazing. We had our 3 sons and their families for a total of 8 adults and 6 kids (age range from 5-14). All found lots to do...basketball court, outdoor swings, pool, and plenty of chairs for lounging and visiting. Comfortable evenings outdoors with pool water fall and night lighting. We had one glitch with one of the AC units breaking, so one hot night for part of our family, but repairs were made next day. Repair guy wanted to come the following day, but host demanded the fix happen sooner and it did at 10 pm that night! Do check out the bed configuration before reserving to make sure your head count jives with number and size of beds offered. Nice part of town (gated community) and convenient to HEB, BBQ and Tex-Mex restaurants.

Great Place to stay. Spacious living space. Everyone will have their own space and living area. Seperate kitchens, living and play areas for every age. 6+ bathrooms. I never heard any of the kids getting rowdy playing their games and laughing and playing. Large living and large sofas for everyone to gather and play games watch a movie or just visit. Highly Revommended.

We all had a GREAT time at the Star House. We were traveling with 6 kids ages 3-11. They all had a great time.

Host Courtney is extremely responsive. The property was amazing and perfect for our 9 adults & 8 grandchildren. It is a resort get away within minutes of the Big City. The grandchildren loved the children themed rooms & playground. Everyone enjoyed the 2 pool concept. The 2 large eating areas accommodated the entire group. We all enjoyed our stay.

This lovely house was a perfect spot for our family to gather for the weekend. We had a wonderful time hanging out on the spacious patio. The home was comfortable and clean and would love to stay again! Truly a luxury private resort!

We were gone during the day each day to see the sites but late evening we gathered in the great room. We all enjoyed being together in such a nice place.

Great vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and LOVED the pool and were in it every day multiple times. There were 17 of us staying there for a family reunion and we had a great time. While it felt odd to have the owner’s personal items around the house, Courtney was very responsive when we had questions.
Loved the convenience of the location with a grocery store 4 minutes away and lots of restaurants.

Perfect for our big family get together!
This house was more than what we expected! We loved how big and how much there was to do throughout the property. The hosts were great and extremely accommodating! Courtney was a pleasure to communicate with and any minor issues that arises she notified me immediately. Our only small complain was the pool had a lot of chlorine, the host explained the situation and I understood it was unexpected and they tried their best to make the pool be as clean as possible. But since one of the biggest reasons we decided on this house was the awesome pool it was a bit disappointing. Again, I think they did the best they could and communicated. The issue before we even arrived. We would definitely stay at this house again and would recommend it to our friends and family. The property was very clean and smelled really good when we walked in.

Large home with great backyard
Our family of 14 stayed at the home. Plenty of room for everyone to be together or places for smaller groups to be together. The backyard pool, treehouse, trampoline and basketball area were a big hit with our family. Hosts were very responsive.

Great Family get-away!
We had a large family of 18 and this property was perfect. It was very comfortable with a lot of space. The outdoor area was beautiful and we had a terrific time fellowshipping around the grill and pool area. A great backyard with many amenities for the kids to play. Courtney was a fantastic host and was vey accommodating and responsive. If you are looking for a great place for a larger group, you won’t find a better property. Thank you Courtney for your hospitality.

Lots of space for our family of 15.
The outdoor space was lovely for the children. They spent lots of time out there and particularly liked the hot tub as the weather was pretty chilly. It did take quite a while for the hot tub to warm up and it didn't hold the heat very well..but they enjoyed it regardless.
Toys and games galore, and shelves of books available. We were encouraged to use them and the kids did.
There was plenty of room inside the house to spread out too.
The full kitchen had everything we needed for our weeks stay.
The beds were comfortable .
The owner was very receptive to questions and communicated well.
The open kitchen/living /dining area had space for all of us when we wanted to be together , but there are other family type rooms to use also.
Grocery store very close and you can walk to Starbucks if you are so inclined.

Family reunion/surprise birthday party gathering
We had 18 people (5 families) to house for a surprise party for my husband. I flew everyone in from out of state and we headed to the house. The kids LOVED the backyard! It was definitely the highlight of the trip! Having that many rooms gave the adults separation from the kids and the girls could sleep in one room and the boys in another. The house was great, the neighborhood is beautiful. Starbucks, H-E-B, great restaurants all close by. Courtney was quick to respond anytime I sent her a message which I appreciated. We would definitely rent with them again! The kids were so bummed to have to go home. Everyone had a great time!

Great getaway that's close to anything you could want
The pictures don't do the house and outdoor space justice. We'd originally planned to get out and experience some of San Antonio, but - aside from some morning hiking - we stayed at the house and had a great time. Adults and kids alike very much enjoyed it. Note this is someone's actual home with their things throughout, so it's different than staying in a space that is owned for rental purposes only. Definitely pay the $ for the rental insurance.

Family Vacation
Very spacious house and functional for our large group, but a couple of the amenities did not work. It was unfortunate as a house with a lazy river and hot tub listed in the description put this property at the top of the list in our search especially in a group with 5 kids. The property owner admitted that the lazy river had issues for several months so I would have appreciated the heads up or an adjustment to the daily rate.

Great oasis, especially for families
We had a family reunion (ages ranging from 6 months to 89 years old) here and had a great time! The hosts were very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The unit has everything you need. We could have easily just stayed at the property the entire time and stayed busy. The photos really don't do it justice. Highly suggest this rental for anyone looking to rent a unit that is very kid (and adult) friendly. We'll be back in the future!

Our own private resort!
We stayed with our 4 adult children and their spouses, plus a 2 year old and 6 month old twins. Plenty of room for everyone to have private rooms and bathrooms, and lots of common space for cooking, eating, and playing games. We enjoyed the pool area and hot tub, plus the tetherball! Courtney was very responsive and attentive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again! Just as described and pictured.

Great escape!
We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home and felt very safe in the area. Plenty of room and very clean. Kids loved having a pool and things to do outside. Also communicating with the owner:manager was no hassle at all she was always very responsive. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Wonderful retreat
My company reserved this house for our annual retreat/education summit. Lovely space, we had 12 total guests with plenty of room for everyone. The backyard was a sanctuary and a great place to entertain. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place that is still central to everything.

Could not ask for more
There were so many things to do here, that we seldom wanted to leave. The pools were great, and cool despite it being late July. Ample shade in the back yard, great grilling area. Nice hot tub in full shade. The rooms and beds were all nice, VERY clean. Plenty of room in the kitchen to maneuver even with large groups and small kids. The basketball goal needs fixing (backboard coming off and away from the angle iron frame) but we had fun shooting nonetheless. All in all a great experience, we will definitely be back and Courtney could not have been more helpful. She even researched some scenic driving routes in the area for me.

Excellent place for family reunion
Nice clean big home with plenty of common space and a wonderful backyard with pool, playground and outdoor grill. Our group of 16 really enjoyed our stay.

Great for Large Groups
This property was perfect for our extended family. The seven bedrooms and six bathrooms are arranged in a way that allows you to create private sleeping and bathroom areas for up to six couples or groups. However, there is only one king and one queen bed; everything else is full or twin, so be sure this will work for your group. Loads of kitchen and dining space, and the backyard is every child's dream. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice, spacious house. The outdoor space was nice but wasn’t fully ready for guests, once we got it ready it was really enjoyable.
