Four good sized bedrooms with four well appointed bathrooms. Large kitchen diner which was well equipped and comfortable lounge. Lovely outside space with table and chairs and great views. Six adults and 3 children had a wonderful time together !

Good location, fabulous views, quiet, everything we needed for a great family get together to celebrate my husbands 60th Birthday. Pub & good food within walking distance. Gemma was happy to agree to us hiring a private chef for one night - best thing ever!! & no cleaning up after. Very comfortable accommodation & good selection of toys for the little ones. Highly recommend.

Ideal house for 3 generations of family to gather. Clean, comfortable beds and sofas, plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. lovely kitchen and bathrooms, all in a beautiful area. We had many a laugh playing board games provided and making treasured memories.

we were 3 couples and we loved the house it was spacious and nicely decorated, very comfortable and also practical. Lovely pub nearby that we walked to and ate in and plenty to do nearby. A fabulous 4 days

The property was nice, our experience was not. Here’s why. The house was cold, heating had little impact. This meant we needed to use spare duvets to keep warm. The toilet blocked during our stay and we were fined £100. Gemma was a nightmare to deal with on this. We received ranting messages from her, complaining about the blockage and that the house wasn’t exactly how we found it. She then - with a sarcastic tone - told us we were being fined the maximum amount to cover damages (toilet blocked and cleaning the spare duvets). No damage was done, but we weren’t able to contest this. VRBO offered no support. Gemma went silent after her rant, which was frustrating as an adult conversation would have been more appropriate. Be careful signing up to the terms laid out in her property agreement. It seems they can claim damages without an appeals process, so expect this on top of what you pay.

My wife and I and another older couple from Virginia spent a week at the Orchard Cottage in early March 2023. The cottage exceeded all our expectations. It was beautiful, beautifully appointed, and had beautiful views of the countryside. The large kitchen/dining area and large den, with a sitting room in the back, the 4 bathrooms -- perfect for 4 introverts looking to spread out! Gemma was very responsive. We loved being remote but within walking distance of the small town of Coaley. The master bath was very high-end and luxurious. We had trouble getting the scheduled heat settings adjusted to our liking, but apart from that, everything went perfectly. I highly recommend the cottage. We hope to return.

Lovely property, well equipped with everything we needed. Central location in a beautiful part of the world. We enjoyed trips out to Boughton on the Water, Bath and Gloucester. Spacious kitchen-diner and living room worked well for us as a group of friends.

Amazing stay for 3 couples and our brood. Five of the 6 children were 2 and under. The place was perfect for our group size. Unfortunately the dishwasher broke before our arrival and one of the travel cots has broken and wasn’t replaced yet, however we knew this in advance so brought our own travel cots. Lots of lots to accommodate for the children, high chairs, toys galore, even a monitor. Would highly recommended and would definitely go back if we were to stay in that area again. Gemma also told us about a local farm which was perfect for us all to go out for the day.

We stayed at Orchard Cottage for three nights over a very hot weekend in August. Four good sized bedrooms, plus an extra on the ground floor if needed meant plenty of room for 8 adults and 2 children. We spent most of our time sat on the back porch enjoying the quietness of the English countryside, but also took a couple of walks to the local pubs for great pub lunches The Rose and Crown in Nympsfield is a bit of a tough walk straigh up the hill. The Old Fox in Coaley is a much easier stroll. But both places served great food with very friendly staff Overall the house was perfect for us and is a great place for a relaxing family weekend

My family of 8 from the USA, including children young and old, absolutely loved our time and stay in this cottage. Spacious home with everything one would need. Close to many public pathways and overlooks. A true home away from home and we were sad to leave. We will always look back to our time with fond memories.

Fabulous house, very child friendly with lots of equipment.Plenty of room to give us all space but need more comfortable pull up beds as not really ok for adults. The area is great with lots of places to visit. We would all love to visit again

Absolutely lovely location and facilities for our gamily celebration. Unfortunately the toilet was leaking and shower plug was partially blocked leading to water overspilling onto bathroom floor so unable to use the ensuite of the room we stayed in. Otherwise was fabulous

We had a wonderful stay in this house. With 4 bedrooms w/ 4 bathrooms, good kitchenwares, cleaning beddings and so beautiful surroundings, we had nothing to complain but enjoyed every minutes of our stay.

We (4 couples and a toddler) really enjoyed our stay. The house is very modern and stylish with everything you need. The view is lovely and the location is quiet and safe, convenient to explore surrounding areas. Gemma is very prompt in replying and approachable. We would recommend this to family and group of friends.

A lovely modernised spacious cottage in a wonderful rural location, which was ideal for our adult family group plus a baby. I was particularly impressed with how well the house was equipped for a baby. Communication with the owner prior to our arrival was excellent but post arrival I did not get a response to a text message. There is a footway to the nearby village of Coaley with an excellent pub and there are plenty of footpaths across nearby farmland and easy access to the Cotwolds Way. The kitchen was well equipped, but there was no space for storing food except for the fridge, as the cupboards seemed to be full of saucepans. The property lost a star in my overall rating because of a lack of essentials eg bin bags, dishwasher tablets, washing machine detergent etc, I would much rather have paid many times the cost of these items to avoid having the inconvenience of having to buy them myself. Overall, this is a lovely property, in which we really enjoyed staying and would not hesitate to stay here again

Not at all disappointed in any of the facilities /expectations and will happily stay here again.The kitchen is very well appointed with scenic views of the surrounding fields and is a peaceful retreat away from busy modern life. The living rooms and bedrooms also exceed standard and am pleased to recommend this cottage to all.

Superb home in a great out of the way location. Local pub The Old Fox is fantastic….. perfect for our long weekend….

Great time

We had a fantastic 5 days at Orchard cottage. Loved the amazing views. Walked lots of the cotswold way. Helped we had great weather. Great to have four double bedrooms. Loved being able to walk to a lovely pub.

As advertised, a lovely house with excellent facilities.
