I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Issacs Residency during my visit to Munnar, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Location perfect right in the middle of town and close to the jeep rental station and bus stand and shopping. Also right where the four roads meet that take you sightseeing in the four different directions. We took the half board deal which worked well. We were lucky to be upgraded to rooms with incredible Mountain views. Breakfast buffet was good. Hot water, amazing wi fi and comfortable bed. Also the only hotel in town with a bar and restaurant serving alcohol.

Some on going renovations causing daytime noise. Not too bad.

It is a hotel and not a resort. We were completely satisfied with our choice but just clarifying for travellers who may choose this property.

Food was good and staff were helpful and attentive. The hotel was centrally situated but nice and quiet in the rooms. Everything worked well in the room and was clean

The view out the window was of old toilet seats. Many many toilet seats. There was nowhere to go in the hotel apart from the bedroom and the dining room. A sitting room would have been nice

Location 10/10 - near munnar bus station Room 7/10 - big clean room. Comfortable bed, toiletries provided.. Charging ports not near the bed.No view. Window doesnt open. Tarrif was 4000+ per night Food : overall good food. But very limited food options so 8/10 Staff : very friendly and helpful. 10/10

I kept one sealed 5 ltr bisleri water can just outside the room, forgot to keep it inside immediately....one of the room service folks took it away...not even bothered to ask if that belongs to us....When I inquired later at the front office, they ignored this incident and never returned that bottle as well....very unprofessional staff.

The rooms are fine and the location is good.

Food and overall services are very bad. Management doesn't even care if you make a complaint. During the check in they mentioned that the kitchen is open throughout the day however when we requested for evening tea and some snacks...we were informed that the kitchen is closed and will only open for dinner.

If family give single double bed instead of two joining. Moreover back side view is useless. Make it something better than the dump ground of sanitarywares.

Loved corner deluxe room (201) and despite being near lift shaft, it was mostly quiet. Hotel is beautifully clean, and staff are friendly, professional, and keen to please. The Three Rivers Restaurant has a nice ambience and serves excellent food and also wine and beer.

Walking out of hotel for first time as entrance/exit is right on road on a sharp bend and Indian driving is really scary! Was a bit shocked when we saw Christmas lights being strung in front of our window as I like complete darkness to sleep. Luckily, they didn't interfere too much.

One of the best properties that I stayed during my South India trip. Cleanliness is at par with 4/5 star hotels. Location is perfect and the internet works well.

Nothing to complain

Breakfast was good and had both north and South Indian dishes . Restaurant was very clean and having good ambience. Taste was also very good.

Clarity on Food expenses on actual and given in confirmation voucher were not same and need to convince the receptionist and restaurant manager. They should have first aid kit available with them.It costs nothing but matters a lot in emergency.

Please improve your house keeping as we have to call so many time inorder to get the things of wash room like shaving kit, comb and other things it should be always available in the room

Restaurant: Quality and hygiene of food from their restaurant can be improved. Room: Too much outside noise entering the rooms and seemed like there was no soundproofing.

There was variety in the menu.

The stubbon attitude of the staff about non-booking of the sixth room even when mail from booking.com was shown.

The buffet breakfast included everything I wanted, fresh fruit, idli, sambar, and other traditional foods. The chef also offered eggs cooked to order. The banana bread was delicious.

A small workout room for exercise would be nice.

I liked cleanliness and hygiene

There should be flexible in 1 hr or 2 hr early check in, because check out usually we do a bit early. I paid additional payment for 2 hr early check in
