Wonderful overnight stop at this characteristic hotel. Ideal for the centre of Blois to explore around or just walk along the river Loire which is right outside. Lovely evening meal with a variety of local selections.

We loved our stay at this historical hotel. The rooms and stairways were charming, unique, comfortable, and in a great location within walking distance to everything. The breakfast was fabulous and had everything we needed - good bread, jams, coffee, tea, fruit, eggs, cheese, etc. Beds were comfortable.
The only thing was the bright streetlight came in the window at night. Could easily be solved with a thicker curtain. Other than that, we LOVED our stay and would come back any time!

The location of this hotel is fantastic for exploring the city of Blois. The rooms were very quaint and comfortable. We were able to find a parking spot very near the hotel. The breakfast was very nice and the host took great care of us.
The hotel doesn't have an elevator so, my elderly parents struggled a bit with the stairs.

Location was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast agreeable. Restaurant had excellent home cooking that was very tasty.
Hong Kong tiny room. They have big ones apparently but ours was really tiny with a view of the wall next door. We got what we paid for probably, so lookout for the size in the room description when booking.

The location - opposite the river, short walk into centre.
The room. The hotel was empty, yet we were moved onto the top floor, into
a very small open-plan room - including the toilet!!!

Excellent breakfast. Helpful and friendly hotel owner; he mentioned the light show at the castle which we would have missed without his guidance (we just had a one night stop on our journey south and managed to see the 10pm show).
We would have liked to dine at the Auberge but it was a Monday (closed). However we were directed to an excellent restaurant nearby).

The hotel is very well located, next to the river in the heart of the old town, just 5 minutes walk to the Chateau. We had a very attractive, comfortable room with big windows, comfy bed and attractive armchairs. The restaurant is great, with a tasty, well priced menu and a great breakfast. The manager was very helpful informing us about events in the town.It made the perfect stopover. We’ll be back.
There is no private parking. We were lucky to get a place in the car park in front, otherwise it could be tricky.
