A very nice family-run guesthouse. Comfy rooms. Nice staff. Very good breakfast. The X-factor is the common room with a big table, a fridge and ample supply of drinks and snacks, so a group of friends has a place to spend a pleasant evening.

Perhaps a roofed bike shelter would be nice.

Hosts went out of their way to make us at home despite our language differences. They welcomed our two dogs. The location was just a short drive (or an hour long hike) from Christmassy (but crowded Seiffen). Quiet town, so not the place for travellers who want nightlife beyond the local pub.

The sofa bed was a bit hard.

the room was fine, It had a separate living area from the bedroom. The WiFi was good. Breakfast was adequate.

The douvet on the bed was very thin for winter. The second night, a family stayed upstairs and the jumping and running were very, very disturbing until really late at night and starting again at 6 in the morning. I'm not sure why young kids were put on the top floor.
