With views of the lake and a short walk to downtown, this is the perfect location for a weekend in Sister Bay. My only recommendation would be to make the check-in process a self-service one. It was fine coordinating our arrival with the property manager to get the keys and take a tour, but the process felt a bit dated.

We have stayed in this property multiple times. It is in the best location in Sister Bay, close to everything, but on a quiet street. The property is older, but clean and well maintained, with a friendly owner. The value and location can't be beat, given all of the new developments, which are more expensive.

Staying at Kim's property is always a perfect time. The location can't be beat! He provides everything you need for a great stay. The beds are very comfortable and the grounds are so great to walk around and pick some berries and herbs for cooking. We can't wait to stay again

Great location and property!

From start to finish our experience with this property, and Kim the owner, was fantastic. We had been searching for a property with better beach access for our children, and lucked into booking this for two weeks in July/Aug 2022. It is literally 100 yards from the beach, in the center of Sister Bay - with small children it's an absolute perfect location. The units were both clean and well-maintained. Loved the decks for dinners as the sun set. Plenty of space, and a great place to hunker down in after a long day out in Door County. Has a smart TV in each unit for streaming for the kids or movie night after the kids go to sleep. Kitchens are fully stocked with dishwasher, microwave, stove, fridge - you just provide the food. We had all the privacy we needed, and were basically able to live like it was our home for 2 weeks. Aside from the beach you are walking distance to the Sister Bay strip (Al Johnson's, etc) a short ride to the Pig for groceries or whatever else you need, and perfectly situated to explore the best of Door County. Loved it, and we will be back!

Three female friends visiting the area. Found the condo super clean and comfortable. Manager/owner was helpful and easy to react. An upside is the great location with a lovely boutique market across the street. (Zekes Village market) Great if you want a bottle of wine, some picnic supplies and nice quality shirts, etc.

Kim the manager was wonderful and so easy to get a hold of. Location and house was as good as it gets for sisters bay. Walking distance to everything and right on the water. Highly recommend this cute beach cottage!

The place was clean and an easy walk to all of the downtown bars and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and had a great time in Door County

We arrived for the Sister Bay Fall Festival and it was the perfect place to stay! It was very clean and the owner was there to give us a little history and to show us the wifi, thermostat, etc. Usually we don't get to meet the owners and just go right in but this gave us peace of mind knowing we got the right place (upper unit). He had the best fold out chairs too!! My kids didn't want to sleep in the real bed but rather in these chairs. We might have to go buy some now.

Overall a fantastic place to stay in Sister Bay. Great location and walking distance to many restaurants/shops. The place was clean and the view from upper balcony was beautiful. Would book again!

Kim was a great host. The interface with VRBO for check in was a bit clunky but all was good in the end. We were in town for the Peninsula Century and it could not have been a more convenient location. Everything was as advertised. Very clean and accommodating.

We had an excellent long weekend stay in the upper unit! It was immaculate, had everything we needed like hand soap, towels, toilet paper etc…., was such an easy check in and check out, had a beautiful view and was walking distance to everything in sister bay.

Property was extremely clean and well taken care of. Wonderful views from the deck and easy walking to everywhere downtown in Sister Bay. Host was very polite and welcoming. He was very well versed of the area and had lots of information to share. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

We were in the upstairs unit, great deck view of the harbor, and the location is a block-or-two walk to restaurants & shops, perfect for seclusion from the main street yet close and easy. Kim came to the unit to walk us through and explain everything, interior is updated and very clean. Great choice for a long weekend or a week-long stay.

My husband and I stayed for a weekend with our in-laws who were visiting from out of town. The house was clean and well appointed. There was enough space for the four of us. The balcony was the hit and we enjoyed our coffee there each morning. Kim, the host, was very accommodatingan helpful with suggestions. Would stay again!

We had a group of girls from out of town for a bachelorette party. It was hard trying to find a place in Door County for our large group. With the properties being connected on the inside of the house, this was the perfect spot. It was easy to get to down town & enjoy some wild tomato pizza. Would rent again!

we were able to check in early. Property manager met us at the location, gave us a full tour, gave us a brief history about the town and places to go, left tourist magazines on the table. GREAT HOSPITALITY! The only thing I was a bit put off by was that when I booked we thought we were booking the bottom part of the duplex (both top and bottom have the same layout) and he gave us the top and said he typically rents the bottom out to larger groups (it fits 6 and we only had 2 people) but we didn't want to drag all of our stuff up and down stairs.. otherwise it was a great little place to stay right next to the main strip and right off the beach!

The house is in a great location with a deck that provides a fine view of the downtown beach in Sister Bay. Kim is a very knowledgeable host with recommendations on what to see and do, and interesting facts about the history of the area. Communication with Kim, both before and during our stay, was excellent.
