Great place for a holiday in south Devon. Accommodation exactly as advertised - great views, everything you need. Lots to see and do in the town and surrounding area.

I had a disaster with the holiday I was supposed to go on, so quickly booked somewhere familiar. The location is very convenient for the town, easily walkable but the jewel is the lido being literally opposite. I was blessed with beautiful weather which helped. The spiral staircase wasn’t a problem for me (apart from when I arrived with a huge case) but I managed to push it up. It would stop me staying next time as I want to bring my new baby granddaughter & wouldn’t get a pushchair up!

Fantastic views from the lounge/diner/kitchen and even the bedroom at the back was a lovely lush wall of various plants. It was great to watch life on the bay from the flat and wave at the stand-up paddle boarders as they wended their way across the water. Fully equipped kitchen. Central location for walking into town and to the harbour. And right on the South West Coastal Path. We managed to catch a bus from the town to take us to Kingswear from where we walked back along the SWCP back. Would definitely recommend this flat!

Fantastic view. Brilliant weather. Great location. Well equipped property & exactly as described on the website. Only downside is the spiral staircase which could become a problem with people with mobility issues. Great hosts with good knowledge of the area.

Don’t hesitate to book this apartment if you are, I’ve just come back from a great weeks stay there. The place is really spacious, the views are definitely panoramic and the shower is amazingly powerful. Parking is a huge bonus plus the location so easy for everything. I’d highly recommend going and yes there is a spiral staircase to climb but you wouldn’t get the view without some effort and it’s not much of an effort and it gets you used to all the hilly places in the area. Gemma and Kevan are great hosts and I really don’t think you’d find anything better in the area.

Access to the apartment is via a external spiral staircase, a significant climb of two stories but 100% worth when you see how clean and modern it is. The views are something else with a vista from Brixham harbour to Exmouth in the far distance. Thoroughly recommend this property though it's not for anyone who is disabled (due to spiral staircase).

Having done lots of research to find a last minute booking within budget in the Torbay area, we settled on this ‘little gem!’ How pleased were we that we had! Not being a ‘great fan’ of neither heights nor spiral staircases was discouraging me from booking this property but I decided to ‘bite the bullet’ and book it anyway. After all, it’d only be me and my partner up and down the staircase, we wouldn’t be crossing paths with anyone else approaching from the other direction we’d need to move aside for! I needn’t have worried, the staircase was fine. It even has a platform midway, so, if like me, you’ve realised you’ve been a bit ‘over enthusiastic’ in your expectations of what you can carry all the way up, you can deposit a bag or two on the platform, carry on up the top part of the staircase and return for the rest of your baggage once the first lot has been deposited at the top. Knowing we’d have to carry all our things up the staircase, we packed accordingly, bags rather than suitcases, but the owner Kevan and his partner Gemma, offer to help if they’re around when you arrive. From the moment you enter the front door of this lovely apartment you can begin to appreciate the views across the bay to Paignton and Torquay. We enjoyed watching the many boats coming and going into the local harbour as well as watching people walking along the breakwater to the little lighthouse at the end. The apartment is well situated being directly across the road from the footpath to the South West Coastal Path, a few minutes walk to the local Shoalstone Lido, whilst Brixham town centre is a pleasant 12 or so minutes walk in the opposite direction ( particularly if you take the steps down to the beach, cross the beach then continue along the promenade and along by the harbour). The apartment feels very spacious and is extremely well equipped: right down to a long shoe horn hanging from the coat hooks in the hallway! It’s also spotlessly clean. Reading through the visitors’ book, I think it’s testament alone that one couple have visited at least 8 times! I’d happily recommend this accommodation to anyone and would definitely book again. I left with a heavy heart knowing how much I’d miss the amazing views sitting at the breakfast bar eating my breakfast. I’m so pleased this place was still available when we were looking for a last minute booking. It really was an ‘amazing find.’

Well-equipped flat with fantastic views in a superb location. Excellent and responsive hosts. Great swimming spot just over the road. Quiet and tranquil with a lovely flat/easy walk to marina, harbour and town centre. Lots to do close by and within easy driving/travelling distance of other things to do (beaches, walks, NT properties, boat trips, steam train etc. etc). The spiral staircase to the flat could be the only drawback for anyone with mobility issues. We had a really wonderful stay - thank you.

Kevan made us feel very welcome when we arrived and helped us transit our luggage to the apartment. The views are breathtaking; overlooking Brixham on the left, Paignton, Torquay and even Exmouth in the far distance. The king size bed was so amazingly comfortable in a very roomy bedroom. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and it's truly clear that the owners care very much about accommodation standards. Will surely want to visit again.
