The property was clean and generally well equipped. The location was good for access to cities and tourist spots. We appreciated the cake that was provided.

The cottage had many positive features, however we would raise questions related to the following that were expected according to our booking confirmation - no basket breakfast provided, no toiletries except hand wash/cream, no slippers.*(*not an issue but stated on description!) It was very disappointing to find that we had to pay for Wi-Fi despite an indication on the website saying it was free. A dishcloth would have been helpful.

Absolutely superb accommodation - made to feel very welcome and the cake was a very tasty surprise! Will be staying again in the future.

The bungalow was very well set out with big gardens. Very secure and safe for children to play in

Easy to find, fantastic and peaceful location. Ample parking space in the yard. Very friendly welcome and tour of the appartment, with spacious living room and kitchenette, King size bed, and bathroom equipped with both bath tub and shower! Access to Garden terrace with wonderful views over the fells and plenty of tourist info and advice for the immediate and surrounding areas. Also have to mention the very tasty, home-made Victoria Sponge welcome cake and fresh eggs waiting for us upon arrival. All in all, everything you could wish for, for a very peaceful and relaxing weekend away from the stress and bustle of modern life, but still with plenty of attractions and towns to visit (including Beamish), just a stones throw away.

Spacious, well equipped cottage,the most comfortable beds!! Beautiful surroundings ,only there for 2 nights but felt very much at home x

No windows to open downstairs and having 2 small children with us,having the door wide open ment they were able to wander into the farmyard area,maybe a small fenced in private area would be good or a stable door,not a complaint just a thought,would still recommend and stay again x

The location was remote, back a very long country road, but quickly accessible to restaurants, facilities were comfortable, both upstairs bedrooms had ensuite baths

It has everything you need, down to the tiniest detail, clean and spacious. Biscuit the Dog visited us over the 2 day stay and was very well behaved !

Comfortable beds, quiet and beautiful location with friendly and helpful owners. Lovely breakfast hamper. Really close to Beamish historical village. NOTE. They can get you a 25% discount to Beamish.

Excellent location for our needs , quiet rural location , good size accommodation and owner attentive and even baked a cake for us . Easy to park too.

The property was everything and more for a totally relaxing break with work colleagues. We were upgraded at no extra cost... thank you! We are already looking to re book in the New Year!

The facilities are excellent, the host has bent over backwards to accommodate us. All in all a lovely stay! So much so we will recommend to friends and definitely book again!
