So clean with such a comfortable bed. I loved the interior decoration with the natural materials (including a birds nest) and recycled materials. The back courtyard with quirky detailing and lovely birch trees was a pleasant place to have a late afternoon drink. Also liked that we could walk everywhere within Millthorpe which is such a lively town.

We absolutely loves Speckled Nest...everything was just perfect. Millthorpe won us over too. The only improvement (although we didn't need it in the September heat wave) would be a slow combustion for chilly winter days

Overall this property suits our needs for short term stays. Its our second stay. Our only concern is that it gets little sunlight inside and the interior lighting is not adequate.

Excellent experience. The decor was delightful and unique. The proximity to the village allowed us to walk everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful little cottage in a great street in Millthorpe (far and away the pick of the little country towns in this part of NSW), just around the corner from the cafes and shops.
Perfectly clean and well equipped, with a lovely little garden out the back to enjoy the fresh country air.
Easy to find the place and get in, with very helpful communication from Paul before and during the stay.
Would definitely come again when exploring this part of NSW - highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay in Milthorpe & found the Museum excellent. A cook top would have been appreciated as we didn’t want to eat out all the time.

We loved our little getaway. Property was warm and inviting and beautifully styled. The wine and chocolates were appreciated. Easy walk to the centre of town. Great space for an adult break away from our teenagers!

nest has limited cooking facilities but there are dining out options within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable. We were welcomed with generous gifts. We love our stayed in this true to its name themed cottage. We would stay again, Millthorpe is a time capsule of historic treasures.

Gorgeous accommodation in a perfect location. We loved Millthorpe and enjoyed a special few days together. Bed is super comfy and we enjoyed the bottle of wine as we relaxed in the sunshine.

Speckled Nest is in a beautiful location, very handy to everything in Millthorpe and Orange. Delightful decor, linen sheets, etc, so awesome and bed the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Perfect for a couple. I would rate this studio 11 out of 10.

Millthorpe is a great place - both to stay and use as a base for exploring - and I can't imagine a better home to stay in the town than the Speckled Nest.

Lovely studio in Millthorpe
The property was amazing, and very well located for exploring the shops and sights of Millthorpe. Paul and Anita were amazing hosts, and the added extras (like the welcome bottle of wine and the chocolates) were an awesome added touch. I would definitely stay here again!

Immaculate accomodation
We loved our 3 night stay at The Speckled Nest. It is beautifully furnished and fitted out with quality inclusions. A short stroll to the must do Tonic Restaurant, three quality cellar doors and local shops. We will definitely be back. Craig and Linda
