Can't fault anything.... Hopefully we will get to visit again

Great experience from beginning to end David was always quick to respond with any questions, and very helpful I stayed with 7 friends for the weekend. We all loved the house; which is full of character, very comfortable, clean and spacious. Equipped with everything you could hope for. In a very good location to explore Wareham and lots of other places

What an amazing property. The pics don't do it justice, this is such a lovely place; both the house as well as Wareham and surrounding area. David was a brilliant host, providing ample info about the house and surrounding area and showing flexibility towards our arrival and departure times. I cant recommend enough. We were two families with 5 children aged 6-11. The games room is brilliant, and the drawing room is a lovely place to chill (there is no need for a TV!). We loved sitting in the garden after a day out which is very well kept. All in all a great holiday and fantastic house (sure you can tell we're slightly envious of this place)

A lovely large family house ideally located in the heart of Wareham. This quirky traditional house is great for a large group. We were visiting as 3 families and there was plenty of room for us all. The games room was a particular highlight, as was the proximity to the quay, shops, cafes and local wall walk. The bedroom layout may need to be considered dependent on your group and if you are after modern interiors, matching bed linen and fluffy hotel towels this might not be for you. However, if you want to feel like you are getting a glimpse into another families home with it's eclectic and interesting interior you will no doubt enjoy. The property was clean and comfortable, lovely garden and seating area. Great communication from David. There is parking for 1 car, but plenty of free parking a short walk up the road. Overall a lovely couple of days away. Thank you.

Fabulous comfortable house for our family (aged 21 to 80) weekend away. Clean and extremely well equipped. Games room is superb. Wareham is such a great place to visit with plenty of eating places and pubs within a couple of minutes walk.

Property was old and querky in a great location. Had every thing you could need for a break with family or friends.

It was really well located, well equipped, spacious and spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend it.

We had a great time. The property is like a story book family large house with lots of interesting spaces. Very homely and very well equipped with everything. If you enjoy cooking there is every available kitchen utensil and having 2 kitchens was very useful. We spent a lot of time round the large kitchen table because it’s just made for eating, drinking and being together. The garden is lovely and we had beautiful weather. . It’s an ideal house for being together with friends and family although probably not suitable for less mobile older ones. Its position, very near the high street but still very quiet, is a plus.

The house is spacious, well equipped and the walled garden is lovely and well looked after. We have enjoyed staying at the house twice and highly recommend this property. You wouldn't be disappointed!

This beautiful family home couldn't have been more perfect for our gathering of three generations to celebrate our parents' 90th birthdays. Everything we needed - and more. A perfect base for exploring the Isle of Purbeck and for spending many happy hours enjoying this wonderful house and garden.

We had a lovely week , went to beaches local pubs and restaurants , would definitely recommend the farmers market on a Saturday morning at the river , some amazing produce , thanks again

Lovely family feel home in great location with lots of things to do inside when the half term weather is rubbish! Enjoyed the games room, the log burner and all the space. Great to open the front door and be in the town, yet quiet and peaceful location. Well stocked and cosy home. Very enjoyable 4 day stay in a beautiful part of the world.

We had an amazing time, loved, loved, loved the house. Loads of space for more than one family, kids loved all being together in the attic rooms. House and garden are beautiful lots of magical spaces and intertwining stairs and passages. Would definitely book again.

The perfect house for a family celebration, with everything there you could think of. Thanks for making the weekend so special!

My family had a wonderful long weekend in this amazing large family celebrating my father's 70th birthday. The living room and play room were lovely spaces for relaxing and having fun together. We thought the kitchen was really well equipped. We were there in October but the heating and age made it cosy. The owners gave really thorough notes before via email including good restaurant tips. We got take away from the Thai restaurant and it was delicious. Garden was nice but due to weather didn't use it. I'd definitely recommend this to friends!

Our second visit to this property. Lovely place. Well equipped. Very good standard of accommodation. Games room a real bonus for our children (and us adults, to be honest!). 6 adults and 2 children in our group. Beds to spare. Thoroughly met our needs. Would recommend.

We only stayed here for 2 nights as we were visiting the tank museum. We wish we were here longer! The house was perfect for our 2 families. We had enough rooms and bathrooms and space that it was as if we were in 2 houses but the communal areas were perfect to come together too! The games room was fantastic for our children. The kitchen was perfect for us and fully equipped. The location was great and Wareham town is very pleasant to visit too. Definitely will be back again.

The property was just what we needed for our family break with the children and one grand child. The hosts have thought of everything a family would need. The house looks even better than the pictures and the walled garden is delightful. We will definitely stay here again as everyone loved it so much.

Lovely family house which has everything you need for your holiday. Location is amazing - just two mins walk and you are in the centre of Wareham which has lots of lovely places to eat and things to do. House is very spacious although somewhat tired in places and in need of some TLC. Some of the beds were lovely, some in need of replacing but great space and overall great for a holiday. Good value for money, especially if a couple of families share.
