This is our 3rd stay and really love this place. Lots of room and great communication from owner.

We have a big family and the house accommodated all of us comfortably. The house was clean. It is an older home that needs some touch up paint and the carpet on the 3rd floor stairs needs to be replaced. Despite the home's age and a few cosmetic things, she is a beautiful home! The kitchen was a perfect gathering spot with all the essentials. Comfy couches, lots of chairs to gather to visit and enjoy laughter. We didn't turn on the tv's but they were available. The hot tub was waiting on a part so it was not in working order but the TX August weather was so hot, I don't think we would have used it anyway. The pool was great and had shade in the mornings and evenings. The listing didn't explicitly say that one of the bedrooms is only accessible through a bedroom. We found out only after the booking was made. The listing also shows only one king bed when there are actually 3 king beds. Our hostess, Sylvia, met us at check-in. She was on time and very helpful, making sure we knew all about the house, where the thermostats were located, where light switches were located, how to lock and unlock the front door, etc. Our family had a good time. Overall a great experience!

We were in town for a golf tournament. 7 people rented this house. Sylvia (Manager) was pleasant and easy to communicate with. Awesome house, clean, bright, spacious. Nice comfortable bedding, linens, towels, kitchen is well stocked.

We had an amazing stay. The house was everything that was described in the listing! Sylvia made the checking in and out process a breeze and was always prompt on answering any questions throughout our stay. The house was very roomy for the 3 families that occupied it!

The house is spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed. I do recommend travel size toiletries... There is 5.5 bathrooms with no soap, shampoos, conditioner. Only hand soap. Sylvia the house manager was very nice and always available.

We and our friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lake front house. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. The backyard lake front was amazing with numerous interesting birds visiting daily. The house is spacious and well designed with a big kitchen and lots of room to enjoy the scenery and entertain friends. The house managers were readily available and helpful. If we ever return, we will certainly consider this house again.

The property met our needs of having a lot of space. Loved having the pool and hot tub for the kids. Property was clean. Close to a lot of restaurants a short drive away. Easy drive to South Padre Island for a day trip.

The perfect home!
This is the third home we have rented from the same owner. The house was a perfect fit for our big family! We used all seven bedrooms! I was a little worried about one bedroom being located on the third floor. I was afraid it might be hot, but it was actually the coolest room in the house! Everyone loved the pool and hot tub! Sylvia was amazing as usual! She took care of everything and was very easy to get a hold of when there was an issue. Thank you for making our family vacation so amazing!

The pool's temperature was set in advance for us before we checked in, so we were able to use it right away. The point of contact Sylvia did a great job helping us with all the necessary details. Awesome BIG house
This house was spectacular from the first step through the front door. Lots of gathering spaces, bedrooms were well furnished, bedding was good quality, linen were good quality also. Nice size pool and hot tub. Location was very good, accessible to many things needed for a great vacation.
Sylvia, Manager, was fantastic, easy to communicate as in the past when we have rented a house from Owners since 2016.
I would recommend this house to rent as the Owner's have it stocked with all that you may need for your stay. The house is large and can accommodate many people comfortable and spaciously.

Our stay was beautiful. The house is very big and nothing is needed. The house is very clean. but above all, Mrs. Silvia who is in charge of the house, is very attentive and kind.

Great property!
Overall, great experience. We traveled to the Valley for my dad's funeral - they accommodated our last minute booking and made the check in process very easy. The property is as advertised - tons of great space - plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms - the pool table and spa/pool were an added bonus! My only "heads up" is that you will encounter some flies/bugs due to the proximity of the Resaca. The house has three levels, but really not an issue if you have someone in your group with mobility issues as there is a bedroom/bath on the first level.

The property is great. The rooms are nice and can be quite separate so you can be alone or join in with others. The kitchen layout is fun and very socially set up! The pool is a perfect hot tub pool, you get heated up and then swim from one end to the other steps on both ends of the pool and the deep part is in the middle; it makes a perfect cool dip! The towels are thick the hairdryers are quality! If the reverse osmosis water system worked it would be absolutely perfect.

Place for out of town guests
I contacted Sylvia & she called me back right away. I let her know that we were going to have guests coming in from out of town. I got to the house & she gave us a tour. She answered all my questions. It was very spacious. My guests enjoyed fishing. We did forget my daughters quince dress & I let her know. She responded quickly. I totally recommend this house & would rent again.

My family vacation
This property was beautiful!!!! It was enough space to accommodate all my family. Everything was wonderful yhe property manager was very helpful & communicate with us well. I was happy to get to meet the owner of the property as well during our stay. Everyone was nice & friendly during our stay. While out visiting the area a lady asked where we were from because she knew we were visitors due to the town being 1% black. We didnt take offense but it did explain the stairs so dont get offened if natives looking at you unusually. If i had to suggest anything i would suggest to increase the # of pillows on the bed to 4 per bed instead of 2 for your guest, i would also tell the guest to bring DVD's or an Amazon Firestick if you plan to watch TV because channels were limited... other than that everything was great!!! If we come back that way this will be our home to stay in during our Harlingen visit.

It was great place for our family. We enjoyed the pool area & pool table. I don't know if it was because it's mid July but it was really warm in the master bedroom and 2nd level. Overall is it was a GREAT experience

Definitely our home away from home with everything you need for a week stay!
This is a first class property in a beautiful location. It is quiet and peaceful yet close to everything you might enjoy. Our five senior couples have come back for four years while participating in a local golf tournament. The house provides privacy for each couple and wonderful group space to be together. This year there was a new hot tub to enjoy. The property manager Sylvia is very accommodating and quick to respond to you.
