We used the house to play host for our intimate wedding. The back patio worked perfectly for our ceremony, the kitchen was perfect for us to bring in a private chef, and were able to host friends. Megan was also super responsive to our needs!

This house was amazing! Such a cool place with so much character. Was clean, spacious and easy process to check-out.

We chose this property for a short holiday family staycation to celebrate the holidays. There were 13 in our party, age 16 to 70. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms across the 3 floors. The layout of the house doesn’t include a large group dining area on the main floor but we solved that problem by bringing a couple of card tables and folding chairs. We appreciated the historical information on the house and the antique furnishings. In a world full of shiny new places to stay, it was fun to enjoy accommodations so thoughtfully and comfortably preserved.

We absolutely LOVED this house! Will definitely rent again when beach in the Kansas City area!

The house had a strong smell of mildew covered by a strong smell of Pinesol. The smell was absolutely sickening, and the owner denied that there was any smell. The furniture had numerous stains and was not in good shape. There were holes that looked like mouse holes and there were wires sticking out of furniture and walls. We asked for a transfer or refund but received neither.

We had a large group of girls for the weekend. This property blew us all away! The photos don’t even do it justice! We rented the whole home. It was a spectacular house with a great location. We were central to everything and within walking distance of so many things. I would stay here again 100%! Thanks for having us!

This is the most beautiful home! So well decorated! Every time we turned around there was something new to see! We absolutely loved it! I highly recommend it. It’s great for large groups, as there’s plenty of room to spread out.

We came for my bachelor party and we’re thrilled with the house size and location. Every floor had its own charm and we were centrally located to everything!

We are a large family and needed a large home - this was large, fun and unique!!! Everyone had a special place to chill — with lots of privacy but good together places too. The place is beautiful with lots of character and is in a GREAT area — we had wonderful meals at Westside Local (great atmosphere), Blue Bird Bistro (accommodated our group of 14), Los Alamos (so friendly), Chez Elle and Goat Hill!!! And what interesting architecture in the area. A fun time was had by all and we voted to come back, for sure!

We loved bringing our friends to KC and treating them to this amazing house. The location was awesome and it was so perfect to house 6 couples. We loved using every floor each day for hanging out and loved that we could easily walk around the city from the house. Would love to visit again!

We needed a spot in KC to sleep our large family so we could all stay together. This beautiful home was perfect for our 3 days together. Loved it awesome host as well!!

Overall we had a great time. Few things we felt could have been updated. The furniture could use some attention. Most furniture on 2nd floor was worn out and uncomfortable. On 3rd floor furniture was dirty/dusty. There was basically one wash cloth and towel for each guest. They were of good quality which was nice, just not enough when you had 14 people staying. The cookware (what little there was) was very old and not usable. Plenty of silverware and cooking utensils. Bedding was all very nice. The most disappointing was the cleanliness or lack thereof. Several showers had to be cleaned before we could use them, the third floor had a really musty smell to it. The first floor kitchen drawer above trash can area and under sink were both full of mice droppings. I have pictures if needed. I think we would stay there again if some of the above items were taken care of. And again, none of this stopped us from enjoying our time there!

Great place for our extended family to get together for Thanksgiving! With the multiple levels, kitchens, and common areas there was enough spaces and rooms for everyone to spread out and not always be getting in each others way, while spending time catching up with each other!

We spent thanksgiving break with our kids and grandkids in this wonderful spacious home. There was plenty of room for everyone and the extra living spaces provided a room for teens movie viewing on the rainy days. The family was very interested in the history of this home so did lots of research and reading. Having 3 kitchens was helpful in preparing meals. It is hard to find places where the whole family can be under the same roof. It was perfect for us. Thank you for allowing us to stay and experience this beautiful home

Wonderful home! Very close to downtown wedding venue and to other KCMO sites. Spacious, Elegant and Comfortable! Family and friends who stayed with us there or who visited marveled at the beauty and wonder of this home! Every room of this house is unique and cool. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again! The renovation on this property is lovely!

What an awesome house! You can sense the history of the home as soon as you pull up. Once you enter the property the abundance of wood work and high ceilings give it a vibe you have to experience. With full kitchens on each floor you can truly spend the time there gathering on any floor. Great sitting areas and very spacious. We had a work related event at the convention center and it was a 5 minute drive (Uber was only $5-6 so we opted to skip the rental car). The host was great and took care of every need we had while there. If you are taking a large group to the area this is a must stay location. We could not recommend it more, such a cool home.

This mansion has been very nicely updated but still maintains so much of the original character of the house. It was perfect for our family group of siblings and spouses, nieces and nephews and our elderly mom/grandmother. Plenty of room for everyone to gather for meals, etc. or retreat to a more private space, if desired. Each of the three floors had 2-3 bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen with new appliances, a living area and updated bathroom(s) - the top two floors each had a washer and dryer. Located very close to the Power & Light District made it convenient to restaurants and night life. Also easy access to highways. There was a minor housekeeping glitch with our check-in but the owner responded immediately and the situation was remedied. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the opportunity to stay at this historic property.

Our extended family of 11 rented this property over the Fourth of July weekend. The entire family was able to be together in one setting which was perfect for us. With the three different levels and three different kitchens we could make use of the entire house. Our family congregated for Breakfast every morning on the second floor kitchen and seating area with the beautiful lead glass windows letting in so much light. We enjoyed our wine and appetizers on the first floor kitchen area every evening. The kitchens are supplied and arranged to handle many people. The home has been renovated accurately and beautifully appointed for the era the house was built in. The history of the house can be seen throughout. The neighborhood was enjoyable to walk around. It is positioned In an area with easy access to visit many tourist venues ie: Union Station , World War 1 museum, Nelson -Adkins museum and easily drivable to Country club plaza. The free streetcar from the union station allowed us to travel up to the north end to the market area. Megan was extremely responsive anytime we had questions or concerns. We would recommend this property to everyone. It is a beautiful place to stay.

Had 5 families in town for convention, this place was great and enjoyed by all. Had to get in touch with owner for a few things, always very quick to respond.
