The hosts are terrific, friendly and helpful. The location is great, an easy walk to either the beach or the town. The breakfast is wonderful, and the facilities are really good. It's a lovely, laid-back town to chill out in.

The location was perfect. Close to everything but very quiet. The staff are very kind and friendly. The breakfast is perfect and there is a pool to cool off and a chill out area with hammocks. Also the price is fantastic value. I was very happy and would have liked to stay longer. Recommended

I loved staying here and extended from 2 nights to 10 nights in total. Great breakfast and free coffe and water all day. The location is perfect, the pool has different levels. The staff is amazing and will try help you with any question. Wifi worked great. The have laundry service too. I liked the common chill area upstairs with hammocks and downstairs with a small sofa area and many places around the pool area. Great value for what you pay. No party hostel.

The guys from the hostel are very welcoming and friendly. Super helpful and relaxed at the same time, making you feel at home. There is a nice low-key but social vibe. Beds come with a net to keep insects away in the night. It's all private rooms so a bit like a hostel-hotel vibe.

Upstairs the rooms can become really hot

everyone was super nice and helpful with anything I needed. room was clean and private. loved my stay, good location between town and the beach. no bigs really and the pool was kept clean.

Family feeling like Hostel / Guesthouse. The family running it are very warming, welcoming and supporting you in anything. There is a bit garden, a pool to refresh, big common areas, upstairs with hammocks, kitchen to use, free drinkable water and coffee, snacks and more drinks to buy available, breakfast is included. They offer laundry service too. WIFI works great to work, peaceful place. In the room is a fan, comfy bed with mosquito net, bathroom and natural light coming into the room. Close to town and to the beach. I have have a simple small desk in the room. I enjoyed my stay, thank you so much!

If you don't like it a bit more simple / rustical maybe it's not for you. Room doors / windows are not well isolated as it's wood. So noise goes easier through. For me, that price and the location it's super fine.

Gaping hole in the bed that was so big I'd to turn upside down to try avoid it, holes mosquito nets so we both got eaten alive, plugs not strong enough to take a powerful plug so you can only use a weak (non super fast etc charge), breakfast not nice, plastic on bed and a weak fan so it was severely warm to sleep, it was busy season so we paid far more than it was worth

Although we really liked the stay, we were rather ripped off with the Guajira tour that was offered on the spot. Much was promised but we did not get everything and did pay too much for this tour. So the hostel is recommended but don't do a tour offered here via Palomino Adventure!!!

Very nice staying. Beautiful garden with toucans. Very nice and friendly staff. Perfect for remote working, internet was stable and fast. Tasty breakfast every day.
