The Haddon House was a great place for our larger group. It was detailed very well and it was so inviting that it felt like home. The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond. They accommodated our late check in were always available if we had questions. I would highly recommend the Haddon House to everyone.

This beautiful home was the perfect place for a group of old friends to gather for a week. The home is lovely inside and out and very comfortable. Owners provided all the amenities we could possibly need. Speaking of the owners, they were available whenever we needed them and so welcoming. The neighborhood is lovely as well. It was a very short walk to Deer Lake - walking trails, water lilies and high rises in the distance. We can't recommend Haddon House more highly!

Haddon House is a stunning property. Beautifully maintained, comfortable, and spacious with a lovely deck, fountain, and gazebo in the back for dining and hanging outside! The piano was the main attraction for my family group (4 siblings and their wives/husbands) who are almost all musicians. We'd gather around the piano in the evening, adding the guitars and other instruments we brought, singing our favorite songs and generally having a great time. The location for touring around Vancouver was perfect, close enough for driving into Vancouver, but outside of any noisy areas in a beautiful neighborhood. There is a lovely park nearby with a lake and other attractions. With 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths on the 2nd floor, we were all comfortable (well... one bedroom has a futon and I'm not sure that was the most comfortable bed!) The house has a well-stocked kitchen, and the hosts provided a generous supply of breakfast items, so we didn't have to run out to shop as soon as we arrived. We ordered some dinners for delivery, but various couples in the group cooked several times. I highly recommend the property. Thank you, Haddon House and hosts! Donna

We could not have imagined or designed a more perfect home to host our family as we prepared for our daughter's out of town wedding! The heritage home is set on beautiful grounds, tastefully decorated inside, spacious and comfortable. It was a joy to share meals together and host the bridal party. It truly felt like we were in our own home, hanging out with our family and friends and just relaxing together. The location was perfect. A 20 minute drive to all the places we needed to go - venue, rehearsal restaurant etc. I especially appreciated not having to drive back to our home, an hour against traffic, to go to bed every night. Johann and Marie-Louise are thoughtful hosts, organized and prepared. They were there when we needed them but always mindful of our privacy. I can honestly say that staying in their home was the perfect backdrop to our special occasion.

We stayed in Haddon House for a family Christmas and New Year. This is a beautiful heritage house situated in Burnaby. Our hosts were exceptionally helpful and friendly and made our stay extremely comfortable. The house has everything you could wish for and there was lots of space for the 5 of us. It really felt like a home from home. As other guests have mentioned the Fridge was well stocked and we were provided with fresh fruit, breakfast, honey, tea, coffee, etc to make our settling in very easy. There is a large supermarket within 5 minutes drive from the house. The information provided by our hosts in relation to shopping, dining and attractions was very helpful. There is an excellent Pizza takeaway nearby and some fine dining at Hart House restaurant, a short walk from the house. Deer Park Lake is a beautiful lake within walking distance of the house. There are some beautiful walks around the lake and it is also possible to hire boats during the summer. We had a wonderful family Christmas and New Year at Haddon House and this was due in large part to both the wonderful heritage house and our very welcoming and friendly Hosts Johannes and Marie Louise.

From the day we checked in, everything about Haddon House was amazing. The owners were meticulous, not only in cleanliness, but instructions as well. We received a tour of the spaces, and every single area of the home was clearly labeled with incredible attention to detail. Our fridge was even stocked with essentials to get us through our first night. It is clear that the owners take pride in their home, and in creating a comfortable experience for guests. Close to major arteries, it was also the perfect location between Vancouver and other areas. We will definitely be staying here again!

This house if wonderful. It is a fabulous property - very spacious. There was lots of room for our family. We had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner. There is a yard where my grandson could run around. The property manager was terrific and very helpful. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely book it again for my family.

Beautiful home with lots of light, all the amenities you could need, and easy access to main roads. Hosts were welcoming and accommodating. Deer park nearby is lovely for a stroll as well.

Seven adults stayed for three nights to attend our son's wedding. From our initial meeting with Johannes we were treat as his most special guests. We had a very good orientation to the home and all the amenities available. His fridge was stocked with food and drink and we were encouraged to just enjoy ourselves. He allowed us to have eleven people over for a pre meeting dinner which made it so easy to get to meet and enjoy our new inlaws. The rooms were very very nice in terms of space for all, the well equipped and fresh bedrooms. Just a fine place to relax and enjoy our time. I would stay again without hesitation and look forward to the next time we can stay longer.

The owners and property made us feel welcome . They went the extra mile to help us book for over three days as VRBO had issues. These owners stuck with us until it was sorted. It even cost them 2 days of revenue because of the VRBO mishap. If you have a chance to stay here, please do. It is amazing.

Johannes and Marie-Louise were fantastic hosts, though we could have done without the incessant refreshing of the Lindt chocolates in the large bowl in the front hallway - simply too tempting. This was an extremely comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable quarantine for our family, and we apologize for treading around the house 100's of times per day in order to stay fit and work off said chocolates. The house was perfectly fitted, the kitchen was well-stocked and appliances top-end; the new family room with the fireplace was cosy and the beds were dreamy. I was working from home and enjoyed having my own office. But, as with most part-time rentals, the hosts really make the difference and Johannes, Marie-Louise and their two playful labs were the perfect hosts.

We truly enjoyed staying at this Beautiful home. It’s every women dream home that had everything you need. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and stocked. The owners are very nice and helped with anything we needed. Highly recommended this place as the location was great. We really appreciated having this our home for the week.

Once we arrived, we had a very much appreciated tour. The home is stunning, attention to every detail is evident, including a stocked fridge and pantry. Comfortable, beautiful bedrooms for all 4 of us, and the home was sparkling clean and just lovely. As knitters, we appreciated the wonderful, natural lit rooms during the day, and lots of light at night. Beautiful grounds and nice, quiet neighborhood. It was the perfect location for our needs. Property is more beautiful and relaxing than photos portray. The landscape, weather, slight breeze - perfect family vacation. The owners welcomed us with a pretty stocked refrigerator with fruit, drinks, cereals, coffee, tea. Really nice welcoming touch! Thank you.

We could not have found a better home to host our family reunion and graduation celebration. Beautiful, extremely well organized and clean, and with ample space for your group of eight, the home is in a quiet neighborhood, and close to a lovely park. Pantry and kitchen were well supplied so we managed many meals at home. Everything about it was wonderful.

And hosts also sent us home with wonderful book on British Columbia. House is well kept and equipped. We were 2 families, each 4, amd had very comfortable stay.
