This was a great property for our family gathering. There was plenty of room and it's close to everything we wanted to do.

We had 2 families staying at the house for the weekend while we hosted a 4th of July family gathering and graduation party at the house for local family. This is the 2nd time renting this house, 3rd time renting from Brandie and will do it again! The listing is exactly how it looks and it is perfect for our needs. Brandie responds quickly when issues arise (which have been minor and not effected our overall stay) and fixes them just as quickly. We were very happy with our stay!

This is a super fun house! We had a blast exploring all the levels, different rooms & closets in this spacious home. It was very clean, with comfortable beds, & in a lovely location. This home has everything you need and expect from a vacation rental. Brandie was great to work with, and she absolutely went above & beyond my expectations.

The house was as advertised and more. The kitchen was well equipped and all bedrooms and baths had more than enough linens. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone needing room for a large group.

We had a great time staying here for our short trip. Everything was as-advertised and the house was very well stocked including the kitchen which was great and all the little things (towels, shampoo, spices, etc). We had a great time and would happily return!

The generous accommodations made everyone feel right at home, and all the children loved the playroom! The well equipped kitchen made large meal preps a breeze! We especially appreciated your help with accommodations when the bad winter storm extended our stay. Easy to get to - nice bedrooms great kitchen! We had family of 7 stay - everyone got a bedroom (5 bedrooms) - lots of beds!

This house was great for our group that ranged in age from 4 to 94. Comfortable and spacious.

Although the location and accommodations were good, the listing had hidden costs. This house lists that it accommodates 16 and didn’t say this only only allowed for 4 people and Each additional person would have a fee.
We also weren’t happy with the rule of NO guests after 10p on a weekend. This is a little extreme when visiting Topeka and our only reason to visit is to visit family.

Perfect girls weekend!

This was a lovely place to hold a family get together. There were ten of us, and this house seemed large even with that many. The quiet neighborhood was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go and having a grocery store close by was a real plus. The large kitchen opening to the dining and living rooms allowed us all to be together in the same "room" during meal prep.

40th HS Reunion Stay
Great 4 day girls weekend stay for our 40th HS reunion! All 7 of us had a great stay in this very well appointed, beautiful, comfortable, large and quiet home and neighborhood! Wonderful kitchen, dining room and great room set-up on main floor which we all enjoyed, hanging out, talking and talking some more. Loved walking in the lovely neighborhood in mornings and sitting at the backyard patio looking out to the big lovely backyard. Thank you we had a great stay!

celebration weekend!
We were in town for the weekend to celebrate our parent’s 50th anniversary and our son’s graduation. We hosted our family at the house and everyone commented on what a perfect house it was for the gathering. There was plenty of room for our two family’s and teens to stay as well has so many spaces to entertain the extended family at the gatherings. This is our 2nd time renting with Brandi (different houses) and couldn’t have been happier with her communication. Always answering our questions quickly. Would definitely recommend renting this house and/or renting another house from Brandi.

Perfect accommodation for family event
We were in Topeka for a family birthday celebration and really appreciated having a place the majority of the family members could stay together. The open kitchen/family room area was a perfect place for everyone to congregate. We didn't feel crowded at all. And there were plenty of sleeping rooms. The house was clean and well-stocked with towels and other supplies. Brandie, the owner, was very responsive to all of my questions. We will consider staying there again when we are in Topeka! Thanks!

Wonderful house
The property is just as described, but the pictures don't convey the spacious layout. We had everything we needed and never felt crowded. We were in town for a wedding and each member of the party was wowed. I kept getting congratulated for finding such a great place!

Great Experience!!
Our softball team has stayed in a few vrbo’s and this by far was best one yet. They had everything we needed, so much space for all our guests, and the hosts even helped us tremendously by moving the dates due to our tournament moving because of weather. I am overall extremely impressed and I hope we have the chance to stay here again!

The property and location was very nice. We loved have a Christmas tree already up and decorated. It made our family Christmas special. There was plenty of room. We loved it.

Beautiful house!
We had so much fun, what a lovely property! Check in was super easy and Brandie was very responsive whenever we needed anything. Loved all the room the house had, especially the island in the kitchen, which is where we spent 99% of the time!

Fabulous home
My family stayed for my daughter’s wedding. The house was beautiful, super clean, and worked perfectly for us. We had lots of room and my grandchildren loved how kid friendly it was. The owner was very responsive to my questions and messages. Very easy and wonderful to work with. Our only regret was that we didn’t have much time to enjoy it as we were really busy. Would definitely return in a heart beat for another stay!

Property could use some work
Overall nice place. The kitchen ware could use some attention, since there really were not enough glasses, and there are not any wine glasses. There was a chair in the master bedroom and one in the basement that were broken, the fan in the bathroom upstairs makes a lot of noise. The garage seems to be a storage place for items that need to be discarded. I don't believe the children's room downstairs is included in the pictures, and the ceiling is in need of work. The price was right, and overall the place is clean, and the location is great, and quiet, and a good place to rest. The place just needs some attention.

It was enough room for my large family to be able to have their own rooms. Everything was clean and comfortable! Our favorite part was drinking coffee in the morning and watching the birds bunnies and squirrels through the large back windows!

Large & accommodating
The house was large enough to host our family in town for my daughters wedding. They had everything we needed and the kids really loved having the game room in the basement. Our family also enjoyed the spacious first floor plan and large island in kitchen to gather around.

This house was as pictured/described. It was large and open which was great during Covid. We were in town for a family wedding. This was a convenient location and nice, quiet neighborhood. We would love to rent again this summer!! Thank you Brandie!
