This is our second time staying at Diamond Ridge. This house is beautiful and from the time you walk in the door it feels like home! Has everything you could ever need plus some! Will definitely be back!!

The views are amazing and the house is perfect for a large group. Plenty of space and comfy beds. A sweet welcome basket was there when we arrived. Truly a great experience!

The house is enormous and the views unbeatable. Having rented numerous houses in these mountains, I can easily say this was the best view of them all. Thirteen of us (with 2 dogs) celebrated a family Christmas that will go down in the history books as awesome. There was room for everyone to have his own space. The large square table was a real plus; we could all sit for a meal and actually converse with each other. The house is on top of the mountain about 25 minutes from Black Mountain (up a very curvy road). We considered this an asset because we were trying "to get away from it all." We definitely hope to go back again; it was an A+ holiday.

Wonderful cabin with wonderful views! We enjoyed every second of our stay. Owners were available if needed but never needed. Cabin is great for large families, lots of space.

This cabin (we lovingly referred to it as a chalet) was perfect for our Christmas/birthday getaway. The listing was the definition of under promising and over delivering. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions and the kitchen was supplied with everything one could need on a 2 family trip. We took advantage of the large game table and the games downstairs as well as the hot tub one morning after watching the SPECTACULAR sunrise. The house was clean and instructions were clear and the views were breathtaking. If you’ve never stayed in the mountains around Asheville before, you may want to consider popping a Dramamine before you get off the highway (but I have become rather sensitive to car sickness). The twists and turns can make you a bit nauseous but the roads were easy to navigate and no need for 4 wheel or all wheel drive. Once you get to the gate of the neighborhood, what a beautiful drive to reach the cabin. We mainly drank the water straight from the spigot so we didn’t need all the bottled water we brought with us. There was an extra fridge downstairs that they gave us access to use and that proved very helpful for our large group. We visited Asheville the first day and all the breweries and shops but my husband loved our last day more when we spent the day in the little town of Black Mountain. It was such a quaint town with all “coolness” of Asheville but on a much cozier scale. 10/10 would recommend this host and cabin.

We loved our stay at this property. The cabin is beautiful, clean, and has the perfect sleeping options for our group. Our kids loved the bunk room and games downstairs. I also love that there are incredible hiking options right out the back door.

Could not have been better. Owners were very accommodating and house was well supplied with essentials. Location was very picturesque and quiet. 360 views of the mountains. Shopping 20 mins away. Plenty of things to do and lots of attractions near by. Perfect trip all the way around.

This house had everything! Gorgeous views, well stocked, and clean as a whistle.

We had a wonderful stay during the first week of September. The weather was perfect. The location is a bit of a drive to get to other cities such as Chimney Rock, Asheville, and Black Mountain, but we got used it as it's a gorgeous drive no matter which direction you go. We had a blast in Apple Valley at both Stepps and Granddad's apple orchards, as well as the nearby winery/cidery. We also had a great time in Chimney Rock! The sunrise views cannot be beat. Our group enjoyed drinking coffee and watching the sunrise over the mountains each morning. There was plenty of room for our whole family and grandparents. The kids loved the bunk bed room and games! Highly recommend taking advantage of the handful of hiking trails that start at the trailhead near the bottom of the driveway. There is plenty to do at the property or right around the corner if you want to stay in, or everything else is a 25-30 minute drive. We'd definitely return to this property.

Our stay at Diamond Ridge was very special - What with the spectacular views, the lovely cabin (which was very well appointed); and getting to spend some time with family & friends, the wonderful time we had at Diamond Ridge went much too quickly.

Perfect for a family gathering.

We traveled from all over to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary - the house was perfect and the hosts were very helpful. We all thoroughly enjoyed the stay - the views could not be beat, each family group had plenty of room (and the pre-teens / teens loved having a space to themselves). Highly recommend!

The cabin was wonderful and exactly as listed on VRBO. That has not always been the case, and we were very pleased. It is on a mountain top with a wonderful view of the Appalachians. It was well worth getting up to see the sunrise over the mountains. Our family included two grandparents, a great aunt, our two children, their spouses, and four grandchildren ranging from 10 to 15 (three girls, one boy). The bedrooms easily accommodated us.

We had a Great time at Diamond Ridge! The home was Gorgeous and location Perfect at the top of the mountain. The views and sunrises were Spectacular! The cabin was spacious and our group of 12 had plenty of space. We especially enjoyed the large kitchen where we could cook and the large kitchen table where we could all sit around, enjoy our meals and play games. The game room was a huge hit too. Jason and Rhonda were excellent hosts, and we would highly recommend this Beautiful home to others looking for a mountain escape and adventure.

Great location and home. Views are outstanding and the home had plenty of space for everyone. Close enough to Black Mountain and Asheville along with surrounding area. Would recommend for anyone!

I stayed with 8 friends for a yearly reunion and it was great. The cabin was clean and well kept. It feels very modern, but appropriate for the setting. We appreciated the soap provided in the bathrooms. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals in the cabin. The owners are very hospitable and checked in a few times with us. The views and location are beautiful. There is plenty of seating and a firepit to talk away the night on the wraparound porch. You have to be comfortable with driving some switch backs and hills to get to the remote location, but the views are astounding and it's worth the drive. Do not miss the hike to Catawba Falls if you don't mind a semi-strenuous hike; the waterfall is magical. It was an amazing experience.

We were a group of 4 brothers with their spouses as well as a few children. We were looking for a place for the brothers to get together. They had not all been together for years due to several being in the military. Our only plan for the week was to spend time together. We could not have found a more beautiful site to get together. The cabin was beautiful, clean and private. The fact that the majority of the bedrooms had king size beds and private bathrooms was a definite plus. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had within moments of sending a text. He even came out on Sunday when we found a bee's nest on the front porch. He dealt with it immediately & had Terminix out the next day to spray even more. They made sure we knew what the checkout process was well in advance and checked in with me throughout the week to see if we needed anything and give us suggestions of things to do. We found a hiking trail literally feet from our driveway that lead to a waterfall that was child friendly. I would definitely recommend staying at this cabin. It was truly a wonderful vacation.

This cabin has everything that you could possibly need during your stay. We enjoyed playing corn hole and ping pong. There are TVs in every room but my group never turned them on. Our 3 night stay was perfect!

What an amazing property! The perfect amount of space! Being in nature was magnificent. Rhonda and Jason were excellent hosts. Would certainly come stay again!

Lovely views in a spacious and comfortable home. Everything was accounted for and the property owners were attentive and available- though we needed for nothing. Would be happy to return to this fantastic location!

The accommodations were fabulous and the unusually warm weather made for a wonderful week. Having so many bedrooms and bathrooms was great for our large group and the large open common area and kitchen was a perfect hangout space. The owner Jason is very attentive and available. The home is a real gem and the town of Black Mountain was also. When you explore the side streets of Black Mountain and the shops and restaurants, there was so much to do. We spent time exploring in places like Seven Sisters and Sassafras (this was a favorite). Lunch at Louise’s Kitchen and their mimosas was fabulous. The Sierra Nevada brewery and the Biltmore Tour and wine tasting in Asheville also favorites. The information Jason provided on things to do was particularly nice. We followed his suggestions on hikes and places to go many days and it made for a wonderful family trip. We hope to return sometime down the road.

This was our Family's 3rd year at Diamond Ridge. We all love this home and have made so many memories here. For anyone looking for a quiet Retreat for your family and a place to enjoy the beauty that God created, this is your place! We will be back in the future! Carrie M.

This property is absolutely amazing! Beautiful views! Very clean and has everything needed for a great stay! We have already booked again for next year!

This property was beyond amazing. The views, the expansiveness of the house, the private mountaintop setting are all things we will never forget. Just as incredible is how clean the property is! We had some friends joining us that are embarrassingly picky (hopefully they're not reading this!). I was concerned as they have never stayed at a place that met their expectations and they are VERY VOCAL. Upon entering the house for the first time, they spent an hour going from room to room and could not believe the overall condition of the cabin and how clean everything was. Their only comment after pulling the sheets aside, studiously inspecting the inside of each cabinet, and peering underneath all of the beds was: "This place must be brand new." Brand new or not, we had a fantastic time relaxing in front of the wood-burning fire, sitting around the 16-person table for dinner, or just gazing entranced at the panoramic long range mountain views. Living above the clouds for a week is something we will never forget!

We really enjoyed our stay at Diamond Ridge! The location was great - on the top of the mountain - and the home was beautiful. Jason & Rhonda were very quick to answer any questions we had throughout the weekend. We would definitely recommend this home to others looking for a mountain getaway.

We rented out this property for a low key bachelorette party in Asheville. The house fit all guests perfectly and the views were amazing. The cabin was exceptionally clean with ample instructions for all the amenities available. Check out the hike to the stair step falls it was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a weekend away in the mountains.

There are endless words to describe this property and all are synchronous with stunning. The space was well equipped to accommodate our family of 12 with space to allow for individual relaxation and group family fun. The kitchen was well stocked, very large, and easily allowed us to cook family meals. The views were phenomenal! Thank you to our hosts who made our vacation even more enjoyable! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Asheville.

This place is absolutely amazing! The home was spotless and well stocked. Was perfect for a week away to the mountains for my MILs 70th. We traveled w three small children in our group and the game room and property were well thought out even for their ages! The hot tub was one of our favorite things in addition to morning coffee sunrises by the fire pit. Short drive to downtown Black Mountain and Asheville breweries made it the perfect location! We are already trying to book our next week away.
