This home was perfect for our wrestling team and coaches. Everyone fit perfectly in the home. The home was clean and well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. We had a water heating issue at the cottage and the owner came right out and fixed it.

Many of my out of state friends stayed with me at the Farmhouse for my sons wedding weekend. It was better than I even anticipated. What a beautiful property. After the wedding we all sat and relived the day in the living room. The Farmhouse had all supplies that you will need and we enjoyed being able to all have breakfast together in the mornings. Thank you to the great hosts for this beautiful weekend.

A group of old college friends and all our kids (aged 7-12) stayed in the Farmhouse for the weekend and we all loved it. Plenty of room for everyone, comfy beds, fabulous porch and big dining room table, good water pressure…all there! Our hosts were more than accommodating with our check in and check out, generously giving our group extra time on each end: great hospitality. Our only request would have been an extra light for the stairs in case kids needed to use the bathroom at night but this actually never even came up in reality so didn’t even turn out to be a thing. Two other members of our group took over the back cottage and it was just lovely to get to all spread out and hang out together again like old times, except this time with our families! This was a special stay. Highly recommend!!

Simple property rental

We had a family wedding in nearby Paradise and this farmhouse worked well for our extended family. Everything needed was provided and the hosts were very accommodating for our special requests. The drive to Chico was only less than 5 minutes away, and we all really liked the town. For those in need of a larger place to stay, my family recommends this place

Great location, beautiful farmhouse.

This home was as advertised. I rented the home for myself and family to stay at for my daughters wedding in Chico. We took a lot of wedding photos at the home which was absolutely perfect. It was clean, kitchen well stocked with nice cookware, dish's excreta. The beds were comfortable as well.

The whole family came and it was a wonderful Christmas. The house is far enough away enough from town to be country but close enough for shopping. There was enough room for the family togather for eating or a game of trivia. Or we could get in smaller groups for puzzles, games or to watch a movie. Watching the wild life was a pleasant addictions to the wonderful sunsets. Thank You!

We had a wonderful gathering with our Chico family at this charming home. It was the perfect setting for a family reunion and our Thanksgiving dinner - a genuine feeling of home. The Farmhouse and Cottage are furnished with care and comfort, very clean and cheerfully decorated. We all enjoyed the historical integrity of the home, and the invitation to slow down and relax. There was ample room for all to visit, rest and sleep well - beds are very comfortable. The kitchens in both the Farmhouse and Cottage are very well supplied and organized. I loved watching the birds from the front patio rocking chairs with my morning coffee, and was delighted by the views into the walnut orchard. Good memories are made here!

Property was old and beautiful and the house was extraordinarily clean!

Our two families had a wonderful stay in this spacious, comfortable, and charming home! We enjoyed coffee in the rocking chairs on the front porch and dinners on the spacious patio. Not a detail was missed in this home. There is a great variety for sleeping spaces, comfortable beds, and luxury towels and linens. Modern conveniences included as well. The beautiful gardens that surround the home made for such a peaceful and private experience. The surrounding walnut groves and home decor made this ranch home feel true to its history.

My family and I drove from Washington to attend a wedding in Paradise. The Farmhouse is stunning, well maintained and very clean. We enjoyed how quiet and relaxing the space was and had everything we needed. We especially liked the spacious rooms, comfy beds, and easy check out process. Andrea was a great host and very responsive. We hope to stay again.

We stay with a mixed group of family from Georgia, Idaho, Utah, and Texas. We rented both the main house and the cottage so that we could have the third bathroom and so that we didn't have to share the property while we were there. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the AC worked great. There were some quirky things about the house because of it's age but overall it was beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.

This is a historical farmhouse surrounded by orchards. It’s a great place to get together with a large group. The owner is easy to work with and responsive.

Lovely! Well appointed farmhouse just a clip from downtown. All of the homey amenities one would hope for on vacation. The orchard added to the feel and experience for us city dwellers.
