Excellent large property with plenty of room. Good bedrooms, bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. Nice welcome pack. Excellent sitting room, although we didn't use it much as we enjoyed sitting outside! Plenty of outside seating and eating space with good shade at different times of the day. Lots of outside furniture in excellent condition. Great pool. We had an ongoing minor battle with tiny ants but as long as we didn't leave food sitting out this was no problem. Wasps and mosquitos were also an occasional problem but to be expected. Air conditioning would have made the villa but wasn't a problem. Good location, very private with wonderful views. Located among orange, lemon, lime, fig and nut trees. The citrus juice was particularly welcome. Good communication with owners and an altogether excellent experience. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Perfect! Large, beautiful, private villa with lovely gardens and pool, surrounded by hills, just a 30 minute drive from Malaga Airport.....what more could you ask for. The Villa itself was clean and very spacious. Gas BBQ. Areas in the shade. Once again....PERFECT! Communication with Elsa and Lousie was second to none. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

We had a wonderful 11 night stay over the May half term. The weather was sunny and bright and around 24/25 degrees. The villa is set back on an unmapped road on the sat nav, however the instructions given to you are very clear to find it. The villa is set in a very pretty and wonderful setting. 360 degree view of mountains and green land. There were 2 adults, 3 children and 2 grandparents on our stay and the villa was very spacious and definitely not cramped. The bedrooms were all of a good size and there were plenty of bathrooms. Although there was no air con, we were never hot inside the villa. The pool was a lovely large size and was well kept as were the grounds. The only constructive criticism we had were the stones around the pool were not friendly for bare feet especially with children around, more towels provided would have been good, the bbq required cleaning before we used it and a larger washing line would be good. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend others to stay here and enjoy the lovely setting.

A beautiful quiet surrounding, large garden and swimmingpool, nice furniture. Very good service, we had a little problem with one of the boilers, Elsa arranged immediately somebody to look after it. We had a very relaxed time. We will certainly use this accommodation again for a holliday. Suggestion: more teatowels and the big cutting knives have to be sharper, but for the rest everything in the kitchen was well equiped, also the furniture in the house.

This villa is lovely and spacious, plenty of room for our family of 6. Peaceful and quiet around the private pool, which is kept very clean. The views are amazing while watching the sunrise on the terrace. Would definitely recommend staying here we will be visiting again soon.

The villa is big enough to accomodate 8 adults comfortably - no bathroom queues, a big dinner table to fit us all, a pool where the more sporty people could even do laps and plenty of space to lie in the sun. Separate fridge for the drinks was also greatly appreciated. The location is perfect - remote enough to be completely private, but close to towns and sights. Being the more adventurous kind of tourists we took several long day trips, including Malaga, Ronda, Gibraltar and Tangier, but always ended the day with a barbecue and pool party at our lovely villa. We also enjoyed the fresh produce from the grounds. Although the oranges were out of season, we still had limes (and an occasional raw orange because we're not good at recognising fruits) for coctails, the sweetest tomatoes and fresh basil for salads and some heavenly figs. Some have mentioned the lack of air conditioning, but for us it wasn't an issue at all. Although it was 37 degrees outside on some days it was still cool indoors, so we didn't even need the fans. Just have to remember to keep the blinds closed during the day. The only downsides I can list is the constant barking of dogs with an occasional donkey joining in. Plus we had trouble locating the clothes rack to dry our laundry before the very last days of our stay. Neither of these things stopped us from having the most amazing time. 8 of us enjoyed our time at the property for 10 days, and each day was brilliant. Some of us enjoyed the villa and lounged in the various lounging areas, some of us spent all day in the pool and others went on walks to the surrounding countryisde and villages. Everyone was blown away. You won't be disappointed.

we were extremely impressed and satisfied with the property, its grounds, the surrounding area and the district. We had total privacy, with fantastic facilities,completely catered for in all departments as in furnishings,comfortable bedding,luxurious gounds, and within very comfortable striking distance to the lovely town of Al Haurin el Grande, with all its traditional Spanish restaurants and local history. We used the tourist board office for some advice on travel and the whereabouts of venues that we wished to attend and they could not of been any more helpful.

The second time I've visited the villa and it certainly didn't dissapoint. The tranquil and breathtaking setting makes packing your bags at the end of the week the only negative of the whole experience. A relaxing, peaceful and stunning little drop of heaven. Couldn't recommend anywhere more wholeheartedly.

We would not hesitate to stay here again. Whilst the property offers great facilities and privacy it remains within easy striking distance of nearby restaurants, supermarkets and bars and an easy comfortable drive to the coast,Malaga and easy access via a great motorway system to be able to reach Saville, Grenada and other major cities, sites and resorts.

This villa is a dream. I stayed here for 3 days, there are so many little things that made this holiday special. The weather, the villa, the grounds, the pool, the landscape and the fruit was just beautiful. Highly recommended.

The initial booking process was very smooth and easy and all questions were answered promptly. The property is In a lovely setting with fantastic views and the pool is the best we have had in the last 10 years, its a really good size and depth and seems to keep itself really clean without having to mess around with a cover.The house is spacious and easily accommodated the 7 of us that stayed. There is plenty to do in the area and it isn't far from the coast / airport / Malaga / Puerto Banus etc. Would we stay again, yes definitely, so why only 4 stars ? There are a few things that I just didn't feel warranted a 5 star review. Don't let this put you off but you should be aware of them.Despite the listing there is no Day Bed, we were really looking forward to using this and when we enquired as to where is was we were told that it had gone mouldy. If thats the case then the photo of it and description need to be removed. The table tennis table was so badly warped/mishappened that is was unusable. These were two things that we felt we had paid for that we simply didn't get, its not a cheap house so it was disappointing not to get the things we had paid for.The house is a little dated on the inside, don't get me wrong it all works but its like walking into a house from the 60's/70's, a little tired and just needs to updating. The bathrooms did have a smell about them that wasn't pleasant, we have experienced this before in Spain but its usualy the drains on the outside but this was within the house, I guess again they simply need bringing up to a modern standard. With no air conditioning we were surprised that there was only 1 fan, however when we emailed, 3 more arrived the following day.It would have been nice if Towels were provided to use by the pool rather than having to take 7 large towels with us, at this level we have always had these in the past. Little details like no hand soap provided only two T-towels.They do seem to have an issue with local dogs in the area, very rarely did we enjoy absolute peace and quiet as the local dogs just seemed to bark continuously and three even entered the grounds while we were there through a hole in the fence, something to be careful of if you have young children.We did have a problem with the pool during the last week and emailed on the Wednesday to say that it was making some very loud noises but nothing was done about it. Great holiday but be aware of the above
