Peaceful location with lovely views. Pool was lovely, with good number of sunbeds and parasols. Amazing work by the cleaner, who kept the pool area and rooms (cleaned daily) so clean. Good sized room and adequate balcony. We enjoyed the breakfasts. Good communication with hosts/owners prior to arrival.
I found the shower was nice and hot in the evenings but only just warm enough in the mornings. The room was as expected, but the kitchenette area was rather small. The stray cats were a bit of a nuisance!

What a great place to end our holiday. After exploring the north and east part of the island, we were looking forward to some relaxation and Alegria Kefalonia did not disappoint!
Firstly, the hosts , Chris and Dimitrios were so friendly and welcoming. We were very grateful for all of the recommendations of beaches to visit!
The room itself was very spacious and we enjoyed the balcony overlooking the grounds, the pool and the sea.
A wonderful place to relax, perfect to chill by the pool after being at the beach.
Whilst we had a car, Alegria is close by to the main part of Katelios if you wanted to walk into town.
We miss it already.

Lovely little complex. Extremely clean, lovely owners, who are extremely helpful, with lots of ideas on places and beaches to visit. The pool area is fab, we had it to ourselves a lot of the time. Breakfast was lovely, just enough. I’m vegetarian so had fruit and yogurt or cheese omelette, perfect for me . I think car hire is necessary if you want to get out and about.

Beautiful apartment, ever so quiet and peaceful. Wonderful and friendly hosts. Pool and surrounding area were spotless and maid was superb. Breakfast is ok, but a buffet would have been better.
Location is approx 15 min walk into Katelios. A car would be useful for shopping and water trips as no nearby supermarket. We had room 104 which is the biggest out of the 7 apartments.
For 2 days, we had the whole pool area to ourselves. Katelios is perfect for relaxing, but a definate no-no if you want to party. There are several nearby beaches, including a nudist beach which is the one we used. Beautiful clean sand and crystal clear water.
Chris and his brother are the perfect hosts and whilst they are not at the complex 100% of the time, this is not a problem as we usually saw them 2-3 times a day as they also own the Alegis apartments nearby so spend their hard working day between both apartments.
We will certainly be returning !

Excellent stay and amazing. With as highlight the helpful hosts with exceptional knowledge and kindness. Everything really was perfect for us from clean rooms, great breakfast, beautiful and quiet view, lovely pool and nice minimarkets and boulevard nearby on walking distance. Do rent a car if you want to see the whole island, or book a nice tour!

Excellent stay, Chris & Dimitriadi were so helpful and polite, the accommodation, pool area and gardens were spotless. We used the airport transfer which was excellent as well. Would definitely recommend.

The perfect place to stay in Kefalonia - the friendliest, welcoming hosts, great breakfast, clean facilities, pool on site, nice walking distance to Katelios centre and beach, and a great base to explore the rest of the island from. Would absolutely recommend staying here.
Could not have asked for anything better - would recommend to others, and stay here again if I was to return to Kefalonia.

what an absolutely fabulous place. Chris and Dimitris were just the most amazing hosts. we were greeted at the airport with the biggest smile and warmest smile and they went above and beyond to make our stay just brilliant and easy. the property was spotless, the pool was perfect with a lovely view of the sea and the location a 10 min walk from the beach and restaurants. breakfast was lovely and we were greeted each morning by huge smiley faces. I can not recommend this property enough. It is a complete gem

Excellent accommodation in a quiet location but only 10 mins walk of the beach and plenty of good tavernas. Chris was always at hand for information and served a fabulous breakfast each morning with plenty of options. The accommodation was spacious and kept really clean with daily housekeeping. The pool was an added bonus and never busy during the time we were there as there are only 8 studios and so much to see on the island most spent days out and about. First class accommodation and an excellent host.

Lovely pool area and great view of the sea in the distance. Balcony area was also lovely with nice deckchairs in addition to table and chairs. Nicely decorated room and comfy bed.
Really nice breakfast area and nice breakfast. Choice is limited but perfectly adequate and as good way to start the day.
Nothing really to fault with Alegria itself. Bit of a walk to the small centre and beach side restaurants ~15 minutes. Fine if it's not +30 C and water, beer etc

My stay at Alegria was absolutely amazing! The room was very tastefully and elegantly decorated, the facilities were new and the view from the room / and bathroom was beautiful! There is a very good beach only 10 minutes walk from Alegria. The maid did a great job, the room was cleaned every day and I always had new towels. Chris was always helpful and happy to accommodate to my needs. The breakfast was delicious. I strongly recommend this place!

Very beautiful and quiet place, accommodation has everything that one needs to spend their days in a comfortable way, the swimming pool very clean, pleasant temperature of water, the garden was a Zen place. Absolutely satisfied. This place is for the people who want to have a rest from everyday stress, a balcony is large, we exercised yoga there looking at the garden.
Breakfast was the same all the days mostly eggs, bacon. A vegetarian does not have very much to choose from, I would recommend to offer breakfast also for vegetarians, however, the person who prepared us the breakfast was willing to combine food that we were satisfied. I would also change the time of availability to use the pool, it was at disposal from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. – one would prefer to have a swim before breakfast, let´s say from 8.00 a.m.

Friendly stuff. Facilities above average and for sure value for the money. Location very good specially if you don't want to drive all day, because the beach near the hotel is blue flaged and there are a lot of choices to eat around in 1 km distance. More quite than the overcrowded touristic Skala. We strongly recommend it.

The best hotel we have ever stayed at in Greece (and we have been to many Greek islands). Chris is such a lovely, helpful, reliable and generous host who is always at his guests' disposal and manages to make everyone's holiday as convenient as possible. The rooms are absolutely clean - impeccable. The woman who cleans them does a great job! I really liked that the remote control for the TV was wrapped into a foil. Very hygienic! The bathroom is equipped with bodylotion etc and has a great shower!! The bed is very comfortable and the balcony offers a great sea and pool view. The garden is very neat and the pool is simply great. We highly enjoyed that the hotel only has a small number of rooms and it kind of felt like we were staying in a private 'villa'. The breakfast was very good. The sea is within walking distance as are many restaurants. Moreover, in the area are very nice beaches.
We will definitely come back, thanks @ Chris for the lovely holiday.

I think chris was the best host,with the best Service we ever experienced through our travels at all. And we travel a lot :) He waited for us despite we arrived very late and explained everything. He helped us looking for the Key of the car ,when we thought we lost it and prepared us a breakfast to Go on the day we had to catch the ferry.The room wos spotless clean,and was also cleaned every day. The maid even washs the glasses.the room has a big terrace and the area is so nice, the Pool area as Well. The furniture is modern,and Outside a little "boho" and fashioned. in a 10 min walk you can reach Restaurants and have your dinner sitting next to the sea. We would definetely recommend Alegria,thanks Chris for everything!
The only thing which you need to know is that the Alegria is in katelios,which is a longer drive from the main attractions in Kefalonia. We had a Rental car for all our holiday,so it was not an big issue.
Unfortanetly this summer there are so many wesps, because of the warm spring.it was not possible to have the Breakfast outside, neither on the balcony because of the wesps. But chris also has a solution for this and serves the Breakfast in the room. But If you are allergic, get your medicine with you, because they are everywhere on the Island

The apartments are in a quiet position with a beautiful view & fantastic pool which is very welcome after the 5-10min walk back from the tavernas & sea front. We had a room on the upper floor, clean and spacious and with the best shower I think I've had anywhere. Breakfast was really good, Chris even anticipated the need for a second cup of coffee or another spoon before we'd thought to ask. In difficult times, everything was perfect and very well thought out. Chris was also very helpful both in advance (organising a taxi from the airport for us) and while we were there (got us a great price on a hire car for a few days). We can't wait to come back.
Next to nothing. The bed was slightly harder than we're used to.
