Made and his staff were so incredibly warm and welcoming, nothing was too much. He gave us lifts to Ubud and local attractions, advice on what to do and where to go, told us lots about Bali and Balinese culture. The facilities were beautiful, you could happily just stay there, away from the chaos of Ubud, but it’s only a short drive to reach town for restaurants, shops etc. The food at Anggira was delicious, super fresh and sensibly priced, about on a par with most restaurants. Lovely to see the bats, butterflies, dragonflies and lizards around the buildings, and even a firefly. Everything was kept immaculately, so much attention to detail.

We loved everything, but please note that the access is down a little alleyway so easily missed, there is a sign at the end and it’s opposite a small stall. Due to the proximity to rice paddies there are mosquitoes in the evenings, so make sure to pack some insect repellent if you’re staying up much after dark.

Everything was perfect. Hospitality from the owner and the staff was exceptional. Entrance to the Villa is narrow, and we had doubts about the quality of the Villa. We were proven very wrong and everything was perfect. Food was awesome..have a private pool and the view/access to the paddy field was so good.

The tranquillity of the location was the most appealing aspect of this villa. I woke up early to the crowing of the rooster each morning and watched the sunrise over the rice paddy fields just behind the villa. It was easy to get a ride into the main town centre in Ubud using the Grab app. Made and his staff went out of their way to attend to our requests and even prepared food for a member of our party who became unwell. Thank you, Made, Kania and everyone at the villa!

There were mosquitoes but the villa provided mosquito coils. Remember to bring along a mosquito repellent if you are more susceptible to being bitten.

Located ~15-min drive from Ubud city centre. Expect tranquility and privacy. Comes with private pool and spacious rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic villa. . Made and his team were very welcoming and looked after us throughout our stay. The Villa is in a peaceful location opposite rice fields, very modern and clean, beds are super comfy and aircon works a treat. Highly recommend.

cannot recommend staying at Anggira Villa Ubud enough! It’s a beautiful, calm space overlooking the rice fields, beautifully design in modern Balinese style. Home cooked breakfasts every morning were top notch! You can choose either authentic or western option and it comes with coffee or tea, juice and fresh cut fruit! Everything was comfortable and sparkly clean! And when you stay here you will receive a service like nowhere else!! Made and the rest of the staff really do treat you like a family, genuinely happy to help you with any request, driving to the town, organize a tour, recommend a restaurant, you name it! And my favorite part was getting to know more about Bali, it’s culture, religion, political situation through our chats in a car with Made! loved it!

Made and Ketut are exceptional hosts - friendly, generous and happy to help with anything you need during your stay. The villas are comfortable and beautiful. If you are after a peaceful place to stay, a bit out of the hustle and bustle of central Ubud, look no further.

This place is magical and beautiful, it made me really happy to be here. Everything from breakfast, room, pool to service was top tier. We wanted to extend our stay but it was already booked. I’ll definitely come back on my next trip to Bali! The owner helped us with scooters and provided a lot of help. I’m usually very picky, but here I could finally fully relax, it’s like a heaven with a pool!

Made and all the other staff are very friendly and helpful. Regarding the villa, this is a hidden gem and in my opinion highly underrated, would definitely recommend to anyone. Villa is situated a short drive to Ubud centre. Would stay again. Thank you!

We could not have enjoyed our stay more! Made our host met us at our room even after our flight was delayed. He had arranged a car for us and the driver was waiting patiently for our arrival and delivered us safely to the villa. Our children were hungry and Made gave us food before they went to bed even though it was so late which was so kind! Katut our chef & Wayang our driver went above and beyond to make sure you trip was the best it could be. We had nothing arranged before arriving and we saw everything we wanted to see and more. Made even arranged for massages in our room! Made said he would treat us like family and he most certainly did. We hope to be back again as our stay in Ubud was truly incredible ❤️

Privacy at its best, given the pocket-friendly approach. Everything was fabulous; the pool, helpful staff, and breakfast. Pak Made and Staff Iluh were amazing. Would definitely recommend this villa for those who want to experience Ubud, yet not be at the crowded areas.

No handheld shower. Iron was provided upon request. Otherwise, everything was great.

Pre arrival communication in English was a breeze. Excellent hospitality from Made and his team. Breakfast was good. Provides local transportation and tour services which are comparable to local drivers. Due to monsoon season, we just planed our itinerary based on Made's recommendation on a daily basis and we had a blast!

Made and his team made our stay an absolute pleasure. They could not do enough for us, responsive to every request. The villa is lovely, comfortable and overlooking beautiful rice paddies. The sunrises were worth being awake for over the paddies. A quiet location a bit away from the center of Ubud.

Great location just 10 min from the centre. All facilities such as the air conditioned room, the pool & garden and the bathroom were perfectly fine. The host and staff were simply amazing and helpful.

We had an amazing stay at Anggira Villa. Made and his team were exceptional and the villa was so beautiful tucked in the rice fields just outside of Ubud. The pool was amazing as was the breakfast every morning! We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Bali! Much love to an amazing experience that we will never forget!

Nothing - everything was perfect!

All skepticism is blown away the moment you step foot into the villa. It's spacious, modern & luxurious for the price. The perfect size for 4 (though we stayed as 3). Beds are clean & comfortable, bathrooms are generous with big tubs & comes with amenities like hair dryers & shower products - do bring your own toothbrush though. There's a smart TV + bluetooth speakers, so we could vibe to our own music with ease. The hospitality from Made & staff on the grounds are above and beyond, they truly treat you like their family. They are always available to answer any enquiries or requests. Great selection of breakfast everyday, nothing better than watching the sunrise from the pool while sipping on fresh juice. We could also schedule massage therapists to come over to our villa via Made - incredibly convenient. The villa is indeed located a little away from the Ubud centre, not much goes on at night around the immediate vicinity of us - but that's a plus because it meant that we have a peaceful stay. It is still incredibly accessible via gojek/grab, just a quick 5-10min drive to the centre. We are incredibly happy with our stay with Made and would definitely recommend it if you're thinking of making a trip down to Ubud. Terima Kasih Made! 🙏🏻💫

Our host Made was amazing and made us really feel at home. He was accommodating to our needs (food allergy, traveling with a child and when we were unwell). Villa and grounds were beautifully presented and functional.
