Bar was ok,

restaurant is dated and very tired. Needs updating. Room - nowhere for a suitcase apart from the floor, v small towels. No shelves in bathroom. Sink too small. Beds small singles. Very poor

The cleanliness was very poor. Stained bed, floor, wall. Hairs in bed. Handle missing from toilet door. Filthy stair carpet. Budget value breakfast. Parking impossible with family sized car.

Breakfast was lovely. We were 😊 with everything. They did everything to make us comfortable ( considering the sweltering temperatures) & welcome. Everyone was friendly & chitty chatted with us & gave us their attention even though they were very busy.

Rooms were clean and very central in the town

They are very short staffed. Evening meal took over an hour to come and the two bar staff were also waiting. Whilst rooms were clean, the common areas such as the stairs, were filthy.

Lovely location middle of town, rooms were good size and ideal being upstairs in the pub. No need to walk around looking for evening meal. Breakfast was cooked fresh. Highly recommend this place. Lovely beer garden and parking around the back. We also had an elderly man with us, we forgot the battery for his scooter. Sorted a wheelchair out from the local doctors. Then following day borrowed one from elan visitors Centre so we could take him around. Got to say Rhayader is a fabulous friendly place to stay. See you again

Would of been nice to here background music in the pub. We were in there restaurant, no music in there as well.

Breakfast was fine, a little slow with the coffee, But the couple running the show were new and the place was very busy. They were very pleasant and helpful. in time they will be fully on it. Lovely pub.

Well to be honest we had a lovely time there and would return, only comment really our bed was not made up in the three nights we stayed. not really a problem, just normally when away our room is serviced.

Great staff. Made to feel welcome and looked after during our stay.
