We appreciated the location (walking distance from the village) in combination with the relative quiet position. Perfect chalet to stay in! we very much enjoyed our vacation there.

Lodge Grizzly is a wonderful property, supported by a tremendous website (great holding option!). It is a well appointed Lodge with an attractive interior and proportions. It has beautiful views of the surrounding slopes. The bedrooms are comfortable, clean and private. The children's bunk room is a kid's dream. Lovely play area outside their room too. Very cute. The lower level has ample room to store and dry ski equipment. The views from the property are very pretty, especially in the snow. The lounge area was a little smaller than we were expecting, the sofa not quite large enough for us to all sit around there at once, and the double beds were on the small side, but other than that it was a fantastic place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked a few times at the property with no problems. We had 5 adults and 3 children staying at the property. The property is only a very short walk into La Clusaz and is Ski in Ski out. There are some lovely local restaurants within walking distance.

We all had a wonderful time - the chalet was lovely and perfectly situated. We would definitely recommend it and love to stay again! It would have been great if there had been a bigger glasses and if the driveway had been cleared of snow. The location was perfect. The decor was very nice - the cream sofa was a bit of a responsibility! The location of the ski lift and the restaurants within walking distance are great.

This was our third stay at Lodge Le Grizzly and we think that it is great for a party of ageing skiers. We take our own chef (a friend) which is the icing on the cake!

Magnifique chalet doté de tout le confort dans un cadre magnifique. Nos enfants ont réellement appréciés la petite salle de sport avec le sauna et le hammam. A recommander pour des vacances en famille, à deux pas du centre de La Clusaz, tout en étant au calme.

We had the most wonderful stay at Chalet Le Grizzly. It was beautifully appointed, with Arpin wool, a family run wool mill nearby, featuring heavily. Sophisticated and luxurious, the bedrooms, bathrooms right down to the curtains and throws could only have been selected by someone with a fine eye for design. The size of the chalet is perfect and everyone is accorded complete privacy. The location of the Chalet was wonderful, about 500m from the church spire and the shops. The locals were welcoming and friendly and helpful. The surrounding Alps are breathtaking and one can really feel the way of life steeped in tradition and love for their culture. We cannot express how disappointed we were to leave! I could've stayed and lived for many years that way. It was nothing short of divine. We will be back!

It was certainly one of the best chalets I have ever stayed in and worked really well for our group of adults and small children. It was brilliantly located on the edge of a nursery run and a short (if steep!) walk into town. Six very evenly spaced bedrooms, clean, spacious and comfortable. The facilities for the young children (2 babies and 14 year old) were great too - inbuilt stair gates, kids play area, toys and books provided. The bunk bed room would be fantastic for slightly older kids. Steve the chef, and Laeticia who did the breakfasts, were both equally superb. I am sure we will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic week in Lodge le Grizzly. It is a superb luxury chalet with excellent facilities (spare refrigerator, all round luxury, good boot room!) and tasteful furnishings (lovely bedrooms). Excellent location: the 'ski in ski out' location is ideal and it is within a shortwalking distance of the charming town of La Clusaz. Sauna a bonus! We hope to return next year.

10 of us stayed at Le Grizzly during February half term. Location, location, location : that's all I can say - it was perfect! We were a mixture of skiers from beginners to advance and being so close to a green run was an ideal way for everyone to establish their ski legs in the morning. The lodge itself is of a decent standard and ideal for families.

We had wonderful stay with family and friends in Lodge Le Grizzly. We lived intense moments of real pleasure on the ski slopes, as well as relaxing and authentic time in the Lodge. We often visit La Clusaz and like it a lot.

We had a very good stay at the Grizzly. We hope to come back very soon and ..regret to have to return to the Netherlands!

The location was great, close to shops and restaurants, but not too busy. The house was comfortable and clean. All accommodations were readily available and at our disposal. The property was all it was said to be and more. The pet friendly attitude of the owners was a gigantic triple A+ for our small family, having our canine family member with us made the trip that much better, thank you so much. Defiantly a must stay in the future. We would recommend this vacation house to family and friends. Thanks for an awesome beach experience.

Not much to say other than how great it was. The only reason we didn't give five stars is because of the way the door locks function. If you have a toddler, they can open the main door at will. We had to slide the table against the door so our super active 3 year old didn't pull the door handle to let himself out. If you are planning to stay and have toddlers, you will have to get creative depending on how fast/curious they are. Other than that, the stay was perfect.

Very cute house. Clean. Close to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Love that it didn't have carpet cause of sand. Everything we needed was there. Will stay again

We Really Enjoyed Our Stay At This Beautiful House !!! If I Was The Owner ,,, I Would Put A Night Light In Every Room !!! The Ceiling Fan On Our Deck Was Not Working,,, So I went To Walmart & Bought My Own Floor Fan To Stay Cool !!!! The Owner Approved a New Fan And It Was Installed Promptly !!! This Home Is Next To A Very Busy (NOISY) Street But That Was The Only Drawback !!! You Can See The Gulf From The Deck ,,, And It Is Only A 90 Second Walk To The Beach BUT It's A Very LONG 90 Seconds !!!
