A house of character, comfortable,homely and quiet.Surrounded by trees and coastal bush, everything a beach house should be.

2nd stay at this place. Beautiful views lovely comfortable beds. Everything you need is provided. Love the fire pit.

We loved how the Garden road Beach house is situated in an idea spot close to some beautiful beaches and sights as we spent a lot of time on the beach and kayaking the lagoons in the area .
We arrived on a day that was 30 degrees the house being 2 story and gets the all day sun it was like an oven inside ..The was only an Air con down stairs I don’t know why because it was no help as all the living area was up stairs ..
There was not any blinds on the windows to close if we went out through the day to even keep the heat out …
We could not get the main bedroom window open to allow for any breeze of a night to make it comfortable to sleep .
These couple of things really need looking at as we sat of an evening very uncomfortable with the heat some nights .
Apart from those issues the house and setting is just lovely .

Although there were only the two of us staying, this would be a great place for a family, or even a couple of families travelling together.

The house had a beautiful feel. Lots of space and perfect for relaxing and taking in the views. It is also perfectly situated for access to the beach and walking. The kitchen was well equipped and the coffee machine and coffee were a welcome bonus. We loved it and we’re sorry to leave.

Lovely roomy house in an amazing location, we loved cooking on the outdoor fire pit and enjoying some wild weather while cosy inside on the window seat. The house was well equipped, would love to stay again.

We beachcombed, snoozed, read, swam, binged Netflix in the rain, cooked delicious food, laughed and loved this place. Thanks Ian & Marcel.

A wonderful home to wind down, chat and admire the view. Easy living and privacy if needed. Table tennis a bonus for a good laugh. Highly recommend and everything you could want was on site. Thank you

A light and easy house with bush setting and views of the bay. Close access to beaches but a little out of town ( which we like)

We had such a beautiful stay. The property was faultless and the location to die for. Crystal blue water and sparkling white sand. A beautiful costal view from the front deck and secluded bush back yard with fire pit. We recommend this property 100%. Thank you Ian and Marcel. We can't wait to stay again.

Overall the house was lovely apart from most of the dishes being dirty upon arriving and ants all through the cupboards and over the cooking utensils. A great location with beautiful views and lots of sunshine. Loved the the doors opening onto the deck from both sides of the houses.

Such a great spot, homely comfortable house, the fire was made ready for us on arrival, which was a beautiful touch! Definitely will be returning!

It was a great location, walk to the beach, enjoyed the fires, fully equipped kitchen comfy beds with electric blankets, washing machine. Only downfall was it said two toilets/bathroom and there was only one downstairs, maybe they were renovating.across the road is free camps which we stay at for 4 days

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Bay of Fires area. It was a large property and would be perfect for a family or a group. The upstairs lounge area was very cosy with the fire. The views from upstairs were spectacular. Very clean place and great communication from the hosts. We were sent a very helpful document containing information about the property and things to do in the area, which we used when planning what we were going to do.

A lovely homely comfy house a short walk from the beach. Really appreciate the natural garden & visits from black cockatoos. Will be back
