We rented Both A (ground level) and B (2nd floor). Location was great—walking distance to shore cliffs and restaurants. Neighborhood is quiet, safe and friendly. Can see a piece of the ocean view from large 1st level balcony as well as smaller 2nd level balcony—super nice! Between 2 units, things were very well stocked although some things weren’t equally distributed (shampoo/rinse, aluminum foil/Saran wrap, wine/regular glasses). Nice clean furnishings. One problem we had for both units were these almost microscopic ants that seemed super intelligent as a group—got into snack bags that were rolled up and clipped shut on the kitchen counter. Ant spray was furnished so we did some treatments and put anything edible or potable in the fridge, which solved the problem. Also, 1st floor (Unit A) master bedroom smelled quite musty despite keeping windows open to air out daily and clicking heat/air, but to no avail (couldn’t figure out the source of the mildew, if chest of drawers or in the wall?); no mustiness elsewhere in Unit A, none upstairs. Hosts were very responsive via email/text although we were too busy to mention the 2 issues. Overall, enjoyed staying in the charming and well furnished duplex, so awarded 5 stars. Thank you and hope to be back!

This property is ideal for multiple families or larger parties traveling together. Less than 5 minute drove to Dana Point shops & restaurants & Laguna area. The balcony views are fantastic! Excellent communication with the owner. We will definitely stay again if our travels take us back to Dana Point!

The property was exactly as listed and described. It was clean and comfortably appointed. It was perfect for our group of 10. (The two units can be used together or separately) Nancy was great at communicating and verifying all was good prior to check in, once we arrived, and checking out. Its a very convenient location and we'd definirely stay there again!

We rented both the upstairs and downstairs units for our weekend getaway which was a wedding for one of our friends. It is the perfect set-up with extremely attentive and concerned management who is clearly prioritizing making sure all the guests are satisfied. The units housed 4 couples and 1 person traveling solo and all but one group had their own bathroom. Everyone had their own bedroom. The kitchens are both immaculate and perfectly appointed. The bathrooms have abundant towels. Everyone said their respective beds were comfortable. The decks boast views of the water and you can easily walk to coffee and pastries as well as the ocean if you're inclined. You can also park 4 cars there, which, when you're a group of 9 in CA is critical. We used the fire pit on the lower deck one night which was a great way to finish our weekend together. If you're looking for a great place to meet and catch-up comfortably, this certainly fits the bill.

We rented both Unit A & B to accommodate parents and adult children. Both units were perfect for our needs and we all had a great time!! Plenty of parking for multiple cars. Would definitely rent one or both units in the future.
