We had a wonderful stay with our family in this beautiful villa with a relaxing swimming pool and spacious outdoor area, perfectly located in the heart of Sintra. We would be happy to come back. Thank you for a memorable stay!

The home was very clean and comfortable and well equipped for families. New finishings and accessories but with the charm of a Portuguese house. Very comfortable beds. Great spaces for BBQ, viewing the sunset, lounging by the pool, playing darts and more. It was close to Sintra, the local trolley, beaches, local brewery and small grocery store. Truly a wonderful place. Mafalda was a great host too. We would certainly come back.

This property exceeded our expectations and is clearly very well maintained by the owners. There was a minor problem with the tv and they could not have been more helpful. The house is spacious and spotless, while the garden and pool area is lovely, with sun on the pool all day. As our title suggests, Colares is an excellent base, being close to both the coast and historic sites and an easy train ride from Lisbon. We have recommended it to friends and family and would not hesitate to stay here again. Also thanks to Mafalda, we really enjoyed meeting you!

The villa and it's location suited us perfectly. The pool area is every bit as lovely as the photos and the interior of the villa was even better then we expected. Everything was spotlessly clean, communication with the host was extremely straight-forward and she was very welcoming and helpful. For anyone wanting to explore the Sintra national forest and it's attractions, the nearby Atlantic coast, or take a day trip into Lisbon, the location is ideal.

The property was really nice and big. Mafalda was great and verify attentive to all our needs and very helpful with groceries, restaurants, etc. Nice size bedrooms, comfy beds and washrooms were good. Pool area was nice with shower and washroom. Nice big laundry room and playroom if you have kids. Automatic gate was great addition. Big kitchen equipped with everything you need. Only downside was the only condiment provided was salt so we had to go buy pepper, sugar, oil, etc.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable, everything provided including multi channel TV. Host, Mafalda, very helpful and full of local knowledge. Check in process very smooth. Would recommend.

We had a great stay in Colares. The house, gardens and pool were immaculate, communication with Mafalda excellent and the pool is in the sun all day which is a bonus. The supermarket is an easy walk and we found a craft beer bar called Hopsin next door which did great tapas.

Nice and very clean house, very good bedding, the owner is very wellcoming. We recommand this let.

We stayed here as 2 families with 4 children aged 9-14 and it was fab! Exceptionally clean and well equipped and Mafalda was lovely and helpful. We didn’t hire a car but the supermarket nearby was very well equipped and close enough for one or 2 visits per day. Also near easy bus routes to get to beaches and into Sintra so a car wasn’t required. The pool was a perfect size and the outdoor space was great. The photos don’t do it justice.

Really a beautiful place .. better than the pictures. We had a large 7-person van which was a bit too large for the area and property. If we'd had a normal sized vehicle it would have been absolutely perfect. Mafalda was very good.

The property is lovely with many amenities. Mafalda is a very responsive property manager. The home is spacious and well equipped. The pool and backyard are fabulous for relaxing. While the on-site laundry facilities were greatly appreciated the length of washing (2-3 hours)and drying time (2-4 hours to overnight)is prohibitively long. This maybe normal based on the humidity here. The in room air conditioners work well and help to allay the mild damp feeling. Again this maybe normal for this area. The little village located a mere 5 minutes away is very quaint and the small but well stocked market is perfect. It is in a great location to visit the well known castles in the area. Make sure to look up taking the train from Sintra to Lisbon. It will save you a lot of time and traffic headache. Make sure to visit the small coastal village of Azhena do Mar. Only 15 minutes a way. The waterfront restaurant is unbelievable and the views breathtaking.

Fabulous villa. Photos don’t do it justice. So we’ll equipped, spotlessly clean, great outdoor space. Mafalda was so helpful with check in and check out. Weather a little disappointing but nothing you can do about that. Would love to return one day.

The property was perfect and had everything we needed for our family holiday. Easy access to the Silver Coast and national park and some fantastic local restaurants made for a memorable holiday.

A beautiful property in a stunning location. This property is perfect for a family holiday, great facilities and in immaculate condition. It is less than 10 mins walk to the village with shop, bakery, restaurants and great public transport. We had a wonderful holiday at this property and highly recommend it.

Perfect accommodation for 3 + couples, everything we would need for a weeks stay over for our daughters wedding, highly recommended

Everything about this property was great for a large family group. Spotlessly clean, and plenty of room to spread out. It is in a very convenient location, with shops etc. in walking distance and many places of tourist interest a short drive away. There is good attention to housekeeping and pool maintenance. Mafalda, who runs the property was a joy to meet and her excellent English made communication very straightforward.

Fantastic property with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break in a beautiful part of the world. Beautiful location with plenty to see and do, just a short drive from the cities of Lisbon and Sintra and the beaches of Cascais and Praia da Adraga. Cannot recommend this place highly enough

Very welcoming host! Beautiful property in a quiet location with stunning views all around, immaculately clean, every facility you require even pool toys/rings etc for the children. Very comfy beds! Only slight improvement would be the information on the immediate local area, we had to navigate our own way around the local cafes/bars using a review app.

We travelled with two young kids and five adults. The house was perfect. There was plenty of room and the local town / village had everything we needed. Would stay again!

Wir hatten einen super schönen Aufenthalt! Das Ferienhaus ist super ausgestattet, alles ist sehr gut gepflegt und in einem super Zustand. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern lief reibungslos. In der Nähe bieten sich mit kurzer Distanz viele Ausflugsziele.

Foram uns dias tranquilos passados em família. A localização da casa é muito boa e o local e sossegado e tranquilo e com vista sobre Colares. A propriedade está muito bem cuidada e está conforme a descrição e fotos. Tem espaço suficiente incluindo a piscina para umas férias familiares especialmente para quem tem crianças ou adolescentes. A Mafalda foi espetacular é muito acessível e disponível a esclarecer qualquer dúvida.

Nous avons passé 15 jours fantastiques dans cette villa ! Tout d’abord nous avons été très bien accueillis par Mafalda qui nous a expliqué tout tres clairement . Elle est très sympathique et réactive ! Elle parle un excellent français et anglais ! Nous avons aussi eu un menage de mi séjour , fort appréciable ! La villa est très bien équipée les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie est très bonne. Nombreux placards. Confort moderne . Matériaux de qualité (belles portes , jolies finitions des salles de bains , placards intégrés nickels) Moustiquaires aux fenêtres : c’est un plus ! La piscine est d’une bonne taille et bien exposée du matin jusqu’au soir. Il y a une buanderie à part pour faire laver et sécher le linge si besoin. On peut manger à différents endroits selon le temps ou l’envie : dans la véranda , sur une terrasse au bord de la piscine , sur une autre terrasse ou dans la salle à manger ! Seul (petit!) bemol : la taille du barbecue (un peu petit) et le parasol qui était un peu abîmé mais rien de grave !!!! De toutes façons il ne fait pas trop chaud à Colares grâce à un micro climat lié à la proximité des montagnes . On dort bien et une petite brise légère vient rafraîchir des journées un peu chaudes ! La villa est située à Colares à 300 m à pied du supérette et du centre ville . Nous n’avons manqué de rien et pas eu besoin de faire nos courses dans un grand super marché la rue est plutôt calme dans un voisinage paisible (villas) , idéalement situé à 25 min de Lisbonne et à 10 min environ des plages . Il y en avait pour tous les goûts ! Certains jours à la plage d’autres jours à la ville ! Ces vacances resteront un excellent souvenir ! Nous reviendrons , c’est sur !!!!

Hemos pasado un fin de semana en esta casa y nos ha encantado. Amplia, limpia, moderna y no le falta detalle!! El sitio es muy tranquilo y cómodo y nuestros niños han disfrutado muchísimo de los jardines y de la piscina. Estábamos tan agusto que ni hemos salido a ver las playas!
