The hotel was simple but sufficient. It was close to the port and only about a 5-minute walk from the town center. There was a pretty good grill restaurant just behind the hotel. The towels were changed every day and the bed made up. There was a small fridge in the room. The neighborhood was quiet. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. There was a water dispenser to refill your bottle. The air-conditioner functioned well.

There was not much storage space to put stuff once you unpacked. I used the second bed in the room to put my things. The WiFi (at least in my room) did not have a good signal at all. The shower was very hard to regulate; one minute the water was cold and the next it was boiling hot. Very difficult to make it just stay nice and warm. It would have been a good idea to have a table and chair somewhere (in the room or outside) to sit and write.

Convenient location - 5 minutes to beach/10 minutes to snorkeling spot and the port/a couple minutes to shops and restaurants. Room was cleaned daily. Fridge and A/C. Very good value for money.

The staff is just awesome. They care a lot about you and go out of their way to help you. We had issues with a tour agency that sold us non-existing ferry tickets and the staff from Gladys Mar was incredibly helpful. They called the agency multiple times as well as the ferry operators to confirm if we have existing reservations. As it was not the case they booked us new ferries and even went with us to the tourism ministery to ask how we can get our money back from the agency and they helped us make a complaint on the ministery's website about the agency. Super nice and helpful people, highly recommend!

Nice room with air conditioning, very quiet place. Ask for the check out because it is different from what is written in booking.

AC and location were good, room cleaned every day.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned thoroughly as there was still soap remnants on the tray in the shower. WiFi was also terrible (on the entire island) and also the shower was freezing cold.

This guesthouse was very conveniently located, about a 2 minute walk from anywhere you need to go (it's a very small town, but in a fantastic way). The owner is a very nice lady and tries to help answer questions the best she can, but note that she speaks no English. I immediately realized that this lack of English didn't matter as there are people in town who are very easy to communicate with.

A good located hostal with very clean rooms! Gladis is very welcoming and friendly.

Good value. Easy walk between main square and ferry. Gladis was a very friendly, helpful and attentive host. We arrived early evening and the company recommended for Los Tuneles was closed, but Gladis booked us on to the tour for the following morning at a reasonable rate. Stayed in a double, which was quiet, clean and comfortable. WiFi & aircon fine too.

New words in spanish learned: hormiga, cucaracha. We were very close to the mother nature, sometimes maybe too close.

Problems with conditioning: were solved by the staff. Problems with the electricity: we returned to our stay in the evening and spent 40 minutes without shower, light, conditioning and internet. Next morning there were problems with electricity again, staff told as that it was a whole island problem. Internet is very slow. There was an ant farm on our pillows when we have arrived, owner told me that the reason is our sweets (like juice). But again ants were present on the walls and pillows before we entered the room for the first time. Roof and walls are very thin, has no any isolation, so in the middle of the day room is just a sauna. And it was imposible to adjust swing on the air conditioning to comfortably stay in the room while it blows. No place to put belongings, only one tiny shelf. Bathroom facilities are very dated. Double bed is not 2*, but 1.5*
