Our family stayed end of August 2022 for two weeks. Rick and Annie are lovely hosts who really make an effort to make you feel like guests. Fantastic outdoor area and we had many great evenings spent around the pool and playing the games. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, if you want a relaxing stay getting away from it all, we can all highly recommend this Villa.

We are home after 9 Nights at this beautiful place with stunning views. Rick and Annie are amazing and so so helpful. When we arrived, there was a little added excitement…due to a fire on the mountain but thankfully was got under control and we were able to enjoy our holiday. Rick was brilliant and kept us informed of how the situation was going. Anything you need or any questions you have Rick and Annie are there to assist. The cabin has everything you want on a holiday, a true home from home feel. Our kids were aged 7-20 and all loved the pool day and night fun! Not to mention the darts, hot tub, outdoor dining and pool table too! The location also is fantastic 30 mins pretty much from everywhere. We had a great day out at the lake recommended by Rick and Annie… absolutely must, so beautiful. Hopefully we will return soon. 😊☀️

La casa y zonas exteriores son una maravilla, con mil detalles(mejor que en las fotos), cocina super equipada. Todo lo que uno pueda necesitar y mas. Los propietarios son muy amables, no hablan español. La casa está un poco alejada y la carretera para llegar es mala, marcadona y Lidl cercano10minutos. Muy fresquito por la noche(se duerme bien menos en la casa que está aparte que es muy calurosa) Los aires acondicionados son de pago. Son unas vacaciones para pasar en la casa sin salir demasiado con amigos y/o familiares, ya que los pueblos de al lado no tienen mucha actividad (Coín y Alhaurín el grande) Nosotros lo hemos pasado genial y esperamos volver otro año, nos ha gustado mucho.

What a lovely villa in the hills with everything you need to relax and get away from it all. Rick and Annie were lovely hosts and couldn't do enough for you. We loved our week and will definitely be back one day.

Fantastische plek , de berg op en dan heb je een super uitzicht. Een compleet huis met alles wat je nodig hebt. Eenmaal lekker weer hebben we genoten van het lekkere zwembad. Pooltafel, buiten bbq, hangmat en alles. Binnen is het wat donker maar bij goed weer leef je toch buiten. De eigenaar Rick is er in 5 minuten als je wat nodig hebt. We hebben allemaal erg genoten! Je hebt wel echt eigen vervoer nodig. Dank je wel Rick en Annie !!

We had a fantastic week at this beautifull house. The house got all the facilities you need. A beautifull swimming poule, jacuzzi and a chill bed with breath taking vieuws. This is not a common holiday villa. This is an experience to get to know the Spanish country live style. We loved every minute and will be back for sure.

La casa una pasada, el camino hasta ella es un poco lioso y con muchas cuestas pero nada del otro mundo, aire acondicionado de pago (un defecto), ya cuesta mucho dinero de por sí alquilarla... controlaria nidos de avispa, en el billar dentro hay uno, y localizar las avispas que hay de casi 4cm de largo, unas bestias, por lo demas, pasamos una semana fantastica la casa esta muy bien y no es necesario ni salir de ella para disfrutar, la recomiendo muchisimo

We were two families - 9 people in total and the house easily fitted all of us. The outside area was great, hands down the best outside area we've ever experienced. Only minor disadvantage is that the separate house gets really warm and you have to pay 1 euro for 1 1/2 hours of cool air. Other than that we had a lovely time and both Annie and Rick were perfect hosts.

Nos ha encantado estar en un lugar tan tranquilo, con unas vistas extraordinarias y a la casa no le faltaba un detalle. Cualquier imprevisto a sido a sido solucionado con rapidez. Un esplendido lugar para desconectar.

What a wonderful unique experience. The property is different to anything we have experienced on a holiday. There were so many personal touches around the home it feels like your own. Nice attention to detail, beautiful location, pool amazing and the added advantage of the hot tub. Lots to do in very quiet and secluded environment, it was perfect for our group which ranged from 4 -50. We we able to light the outside fireplace which was amazing in the evenings and managed to meet some of the local wildlife with the gheko's and mantis doing battle most evenings. You will need a car and we used this as a base to travel to Gibraltar and explore the local towns which had everything we needed. Overall a fantastic place with wonderful hosts. Rick's collection of memorobilia etc is fantastic. Thank you both.

We rented this villa for a group of 9 - 3 couples and 3 kids from 10 to 20 years old. We absolutely loved our stay. As others have mentioned the location of the villa is off the beaten path, so you definitely need a car. But that means you get a wonderful sense of privacy and can do as you please without upsetting the neighbours. We would swim most nights at midnight, for instance, just to cool down. The villa is well equipped with everything you could possibly need, including UK TV and Wi-Fi for those times you need to take a rest from the sun. A couple of highlights were the pool and the outside cooking and dining area, where we ate all our meals. Rick and Annie were also very helpful hosts, always available for advice or assistance if needed. Overall a brilliant holiday and all of us would highly recommend it to anyone.

We had a great time at the villa. The location worked well for us as it was so private, with panoramic views - we didn't have to worry about people complaining about the noise! The villa had lots of communal areas to spread out in, and the pool was lovely! Kids (ages 1-5) had a great time. Lovely holiday and really helpful hosts.

Just back from a week at this villa with my 2 daughters and their families- 13 in total. A bit apprehensive about it all as it was our first villa holiday but everyone absolutely loved it. It is a bit away from everywhere but we had a small car to drive to the local town of Coín for shopping- it had a Lidl and a large mercadona supermarket. We ventured into benelmadena 2 nights out of our stay using a local minibus company who were brilliant aswell. We had kids ranging from 10 to 21 and they all said it was they’re best holiday ever. Just spending time with the family around the pool during the day and lazing in the hot tub and eating from the bbq in the evening was wonderful. Having no one else around to bother you - being able to jump in the pool when you wanted - even late in the evenings -was brilliant. The WiFi helped aswell when some of them wanted to just go and sit on their phones catching up with friends. Satellite tv was great aswell. There was definitely something to keep everyone happy and rick was on hand should we need him but there were absolutely no problems while we were there. No one wanted to go home and we would love to go back - thanks rick and Annie for allowing us to spend time in your wonderful retreat.

We were a family of 10 people and we had great times there. If i had to raise some little things to improve : - a water tank of 40l is NOT enough for the main house - the diswasher was not working properly Also, Rick & Annie have to update the announce on the french site. The pool is not heated any more. Apart from that, the drive from main road to the house is an adventure :) As said, Rick and Annie are really nice people, helpful and always available for any kind of questions and services. Thanks a lot, we really enjoyed these days :)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 14 of us in total and plenty of room for everyone. Loved the outdoor space with seating, music, table,pool, darts and hot tub. With a fridge, Bbq and hob outside meant the adults hardlly spent anytime indoors.. but the tv and wifi kept the kids happy if indoors. Rick on hand the whole time should anything go wrong. Can't fault the place. Car absolutely necessary. Hope you revisit in the future

2nd time we've stayed, wouldn't stay anywhere else. Lots of room, very clean and owners very helpful and can't do enough to help with your stay . Not forgetting the very adorable dog who just makes the place feel like a home from home. Would recommend anybody to stay.

We was a group of 14 with 6 of us adults and 8 kids and had plenty of space, this villa is by far the best villa we've been to, it had everything you could need and more the pictures don't do this place justice. when we arrived we was blown away by the villa and then had the privilege to take in the stunning views, the outside lounge area was a real treat for us as we spent most nights out there with the music playing and with some of us playing darts, using the pool table and the arcade machine and just chilling out in general a real plus point for us. The supermarkets are just 10mins away and there is a lovely little town that has everything you need about 10mins away as well. The bbq was special for me really great and had a lot of use from us as well as the jacuzzi. The owners Rick an Annie were really helpfull, Rick was there straight away if we needed anything or had any problems and he was real gentleman you were absolutely fantastic Rick so thank you so much. And thank both of you for letting us stay at your villa and letting us experience such an amazing, outstanding an impeccable place we will for sure always have lovely memories from there and can't wait to do it all over again, so hope to see you guys again next year thank you!

We spent 10 days at this villa in June with 5 adults and 2 children and had a brilliant time. The accommodation was spacious and immaculately clean with everything you would need for a break away. The outside seating area and BBQ was a great addition and the BBQ was used almost every night. The Jacuzzi, dartboard, pool table and bowls made for great evening entertainment, when we weren't admiring the views with a drink in hand. The pool area and sunbeds were clean and well maintained, with plenty of space for everyone. The location of the villa is great for the airport and local supermarkets and not far from the coast to get to beaches. Everything was close by, but the villa was quiet and relaxing with great views across the mountains. We would highly recommend this villa for families or groups of friends.

Absolutely brilliant. Stayed here a couple of years ago and had a great time. Returned this year to find the improvements made it even better. You won't be disappointed as there is everything you could possible want. I have already booked three weeks for next year. The town is only a couple of minutes drive but you proabably won't want leave the house that often. If you're looking for somewhere to chill and enjoy all the home comforts and more then look no further. You won't find better value. One small negative is the lack of air con in the children's room as it can get quite warm in there, but everything elso makes up for this.

Wir haben im Ferienhaus 2 tolle Wochen verbracht welche viel zu schnell vorrüber waren. Das Haus ist toll eingericht, der Garten mit Pool ein Traum. Wir hatten noch nie ein Ferienhaus mit so vielen Liegemöglichkeiten (Hängematte,Liegestühle,tolles Bett auf der Terrasse). Wir waren über die ganze Einrichtung und die Deko total begeister. Alles ist super, sauber und die Lage ist mehr als perfekt. Es ist abgelegen aber man ist in 5 Minuten im nächsten Ort mit vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten,Restaurants. Die Autobahn ist 15 Minuten entfernt. Wir hatten super Wetter, da es nicht so weit in den Berg liegt. Nick und Annie sind super nett. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! We have spent 2 great wees in the House that went away way too fast. The house is great, the garden with a pool a dream. We never had a house with that many reclining options (hammock, beach chairs, great bed on the terrace). We were totally impressed by the decoration everything is great and clean and the location is more than perfect. It is secluded but it is only 5 minutes away from the next town with many shops, restaurants and interstate. It is about 15 minutes of driving to the next motorway. We had great weather as it is not so far into the mountain. Nick and Annie are really nice. We are defenitely coming back!

A piece of paradise in a stunning location. The accommodation is superb as it easily coped with 2 family's. Lovely views at all times during the day and the stars at night with the soundtrack of the wildlife in the background. Plenty to do for kids with Jacuzzi, Pool, Pool table and Arcade Game. Play your favorite tunes as load as you like as no neighbours to annoy (Rick i loved the original eighties cds lol). Everything homely is there for you even your own pet dog (oscar you are a star) who will look after you during your stay. Would love to go back one day which usually says it all. My wife, daughter and I are just back from a weeks golf break in Alhaurin el Grande and had the pleasure of staying at Annie and Rick's hillside retreat. We golfed every day and were glad to get back to the Villa for a swim then the hot tub, followed by the barbecue and a game of pool. Every thing you needed for a Family chill out experience was on tap at this fantastic accomodation. We even fell for Oscar the little terrier dog who was our companion for the week. We have been around the Costas over the past ten years in various apartments and villas and this house is right up there with the best. A first class service delivering a first class experience of the 'life of leisure' in the Campo!!! The McBride Family, Scotland.

So here I am again back in the chilly blighty and pining for the weather we just experienced at Sodem Hall! We had another great 2 week stay here and Annie & Rick are to be commended with yet another dose of great hospitality and help. It was my wifes birthday on our first Sunday and Annie had arranged for a wonderful birthday cake as a surprise for my wife. We also celebrated our wedding aniversary the day after with a sumptuous meal at La Finca which is a horse sanctuary as well as top class resturant... I recommend any of the sea food dishes (prawns piri piri was top notch). We visited the Alhambra in Granada which is well worth the 90 minute drive and also Peuto Banus to see how the other half live... a boat for sale for 1.2 miilion euro's took our kids fancy!!! All the amenities at the house are first class and the air con is a god send during the days when the temperature reaches 42 degrees at midday. The pool, pool table and jucuzzi are great additions to a wonderful view across the valley that you never get tired of at any time of the day or night. Top class holiday with everything you need right on your door step. THANKS Rick & Annie for another relaxing and rejuvinating time, 2 weeks is spot on to wind down and revigor.

What can we say , we had a fantastic time in your holiday home. The cabin had everything to make your holiday perfect, everything was clean and comfortably furnished, the views from the decking were breathtaking, the pool was clean , we were amazed at the size of the place, we would love to come back soon Sheila and David North Wales

We stayed here for the first week in October and were blessed with fantastic weather. What made our stay perfect was this wonderful log cabin..stunning views from the decking area,beautiful pool surrounded by statues and cactus...o the list goes on and on. We played pool in the eveings or had a jacuzzi,sat under the stars with a drink or too. The rooms were cool and aircon in the main bedroom,huge tv in the lounge,books to read,sky tv...i could go on but u get the idea...we had a wonderful week and cant wait to return..We miss it already. .Annie and Rick the owners were sooooo helpful with local info and how to get up hills ...plus so many other things...BOOK IT ALREADY!

We have just spent 2 weeks at this property and enjoyed every minute. The owners have gone out of there way to make your stay as pleasurable as possible with eveything your need to enjoy the 'high life' sitting up in the campo mountains with a view overlooking the local village. The Villa itself is extremely well appointed with both indoor and outdoor kitchens. The BBQ deserves special note as it is probably the best I have ever used and we used it everyday either for breakfast lunch or dinner. The pool is a delight and our children spent most of the day in it with the odd breather during the hottest part of the day. The decking area is a great place to watch the sun rise in the morning and the moon rise in the evening. A memory that will be etched in our minds for ever. Any minor issue's we did have with the property (mainly very minor electrical problems) were sorted out quickly and to our satisfaction as the owners live near by. You cannot fault this property for size, location (though being in he mountains may not be to everyone's liking, but then there's no passing cars, no noise apart from the odd animal and a nice breeze daily which keeps you cool) and the facilities are second to none. We had an extremely relaxing time in our 2 weeks and would recommend visits to Ardale lakes, San Pedro beach (it wasn't crowded in August) and Mijas for a donkey ride in wonderful old style surroundings.
