This townhouse was a great property and centrally located - almost everything in downtown Memphis is in walking distance to the place. We felt very safe and secure. However this is not an accessible stay as all bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Additionally there are many bars and clubs nearby. Expect a lot of noise on the weekends late into the morning.

You can't get a better location for Memphis sightseeing. The townhouse was on the same block as several historical buildings, right between famous Beale St and the Civil Rights museum and walking distance to so many places of interest. With Location you also have the sounds of the city like the fire trucks from the station down the block and an occasional unruly group walking down the street. It does have a lot of stairs, including all the bedrooms being on the second and third floor. The beds were firm so if you prefer a soft bed, that could be an issue. There was plenty of comfy seating for our party of 6. The building is old but had several updates; it is very colorful as shown in the pictures. Internet connectivity was sufficient, but the tv did have limited channels. All in all, I would stay here again.

Location...Location...Location. Felt safe walking around the neighborhood and plenty of good restaurants and historic attractions nearby. Just nice not having to get into the car to see something. Folks could come and go as they please. Plenty of room for 5. I received a thumbs up from my buddies for picking this place. You're in downtown so don't expect a quiet suburban street. Part of the charm. Our thanks to the host!

Great location! It felt like home!

Cool retro type building. Would work well for larger groups. Lots of stairs not well lit. to 3rd level. Kitchen adequate minus pans. Trolley right by front door. Nice bar/burger place across the street and breakfast place on corner.

We had an awesome time. Everything is in walking distance. Scooter rentals are right out side too.

We loved the restaurant right across the street and Pearls, delicious soul food, 1 block away. The walking distance to Beale was short and sweet

Stayed in this property with 4 ladies on our annual girl trip. The property was as described, well stocked, comfortable beds.walking distance to Beal street.

Perfect location. Gorgeous stained glass windows. Quick replies. Some elements were shared that were not as clean as we had expected, and they offered to fix while we were there, but we declined for various reasons, one being it was just plain inconvenient. We were immediately told we should've told them upon arrival so, as they said, we could've found a different place and just gotten refunded. The bigger issue that arose from letting them know about some things like missing tp holder, dirty rugs, drawers, floors, and microwave, etc, was the way it was handled. At first, communicating was respectful and apologetic, but it took a turn. After sending photos as requested, it was downplayed we were complaining about nothing and was recommended that we just check out early and get a refund for days we didn't stay. I had my mom and daughter with me, so we didn't, to avoid the inconvenience of finding another place to stay for the remainder of our family trip. He assured me there were several open places we could go and asked us to check out again, as this didn't seem like the right fit for us.

Since reviews are important to me I wanted to share that if anyone in your group has difficulty with stairs this place is not for you. The location is great and was perfect for my husband and siblings but I didn't notice or pay attention to comments on the stairs. You enter through the garage and climb 20 stairs to the kitchen. The first set of bedrooms are accessed from stairs, a landing and additional stairs. The remaining bedrooms and bathroom are located on the third floor of stairs. We plan on staying here on our next visit because the price and location is excellent. My parents used to vacation with us so I wanted others to know about the stairs because it would have been a problem if our parents had been with us.

Great location - short walk to trolley, restaurants, museums and secure parking. Recommend Arcade Cafe and Central BBQ. Sleeps 8 people comfortably.

This property is in the perfect location, it is a short walk to everything that you would want to do in Memphis. It is just a couple blocks from Beale Street in one direction and a couple blocks from the civil rights museum in the other direction. You are also within walking distance of the sports venues and the Peabody hotel. Owner is great to work with and quick with his communication. You can’t go wrong with this property!

The property was just as described. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. Being on Main Street offered the opportunity to feel the night time Memphis energy. Just a couple of blocks from Beale st and great location for walking or taking the street car. Would stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay there. The house was beautiful and the location was superb.

This is the perfect location, super clean, great common areas and great quiet hideaways nooks. We loved the bright vibrant colors. Kitchen had everything you could think of. Very nice bedrooms and bathrooms with a great half bath downstairs. A 2 car garage large enough for 4 cars. Great people watching front porch. The property manager responses were as quick as auto reply regarding all of our questions. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Memphis!

We had a great time! This place is in the perfect place to explore. We walked and rode the trolley everywhere. The house has tons of character. We loved having a garage for our cars. Perfect first time Memphis experience.

This place was great and exactly as advertised. An excellent location in downtown in easy walking distance to Beale St. The owner was very responsive and the instructions were clear. The only negative was traffic noise, but considering the location should be expected and not a fault of the property itself. The garage is a level below the main level so this should be considered if someone has trouble with stairs. Thanks for an awesome experience!
