The Nightingale Cottage is a lovely comfortable cottage fully equipped for a stay in a rural location but near enough to visit Norwich and an hour from Cromer. A bonus are the goodies in the on site farm shop and complimentary access the a local Gym/Pool/Spa - I would stay here again.

Peaceful and beautiful area. Accomodation large and clean. Onsite game room and laundry. Dishwashing materials supplied. Tennis courts, pool and gym about 5 min by car. Due to covid we could only play tennis . Only criticism would be that there was only one wine glass but we made do by using champagne flutes. Dog friendly with enclosed garden, shared by other cottages. Tiny dogs could crawl under the fencing. Lovely stay. Would return.

The cottage was very nice, the games room was adequate & the facilities at the hotel were vey good. What we weren't expecting and what is not shown in the photos were the caravans at the bottom and side of the garden. On site farm shop could be useful for bits & pieces such as milk, eggs etc.

We had a fantastic stay in the knightingale cottage, very well equipped and very clean. Great surrounding and easy access to Norwich.

Great place and lovely people to deal with.

An immaculate property with everything you could need provided. There is even a separate games room which is great for children. Lovely peaceful setting and good location for exploring Norfolk.

We have just returned home from an amazing stay at Fielding Cottage - Nightingale. Upon arrival Sam and his lovely children were on hand to greet us and show us around their fantastic new cottages, our holiday home for the next week. We were very priveledged to be their first visitors! Not only was our cottage extensively equipped with everything we would need, Sam ensured we had a bouncy chair for our baby and offered us a cot if needed. His hospitality went above and beyond our expectations and the luxurious accomodation did not disappoint. The cottage was immaculate and very homely with a lovely country house feel to it. The kitchen was fantastically equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. I would struggle to find anything negative to say about our stay, from the minute we arrived we were in heaven. The dark nights with a clear view of the stars and a daytime view of fields, horses, sheep and goats was a nice change of scenery. We were also lucky to have some of their own made Goats Cheese to try; we highly recommend both the Elingham and Wensum White and we brought lots home with us. There is a games room, with Ping Pong and an old chest full of toys that kept our daughter happy on the rainy days. Our aim was to find a last minute break to get away after the birth of our son. Having been let down with other accomodation (due to double booking) Sam gladly accepted our booking with only a few hours notice and from the minute we arrived we knew fate had sent us here. It was exactly what we needed. We cannot wait to return to Fielding Cottage and know that we will be made very welcome.
