The house is spacious and comfortable, situated in a quiet but convenient area. Avola is 5 minutes away, the motorway linking Messina, Catania, Siracusa and Gela is also a few minutes drive from the house.A car is essential. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. If we had a problem they responded immediately. As for this area of Sicily there is lots to do. Beach lovers are well catered for and there are plenty of possibilities for hikers. The beautiful towns of Siracusa, Noto, Ragusa and Modica are within easy reach. We would certainly love to go back.

Quiet location, private secure parking, all the amenities, nice to be able to sit and relax out-of-doors. Our host was kind and thoughtful.

Great location for day trips, contact people are wonderful and very responsive. We were here over Christmas and they had decorated house for holiday. Highly recommend.

This Villa is comfortable and cozy with plenty of room and it is private . The hosts take great care of their place and have pride in offering it to others to enjoy. They are authentic, caring , warm people. They welcomed us with genuine hospitality . When we weren’t certain just where it was located, the host met us within minutes and guided us to his Villa. The orange trees are simply beautiful and we were welcomed to enjoy some. A real treat. We miss being there and hope to see this beautiful family of three …soon to be four, one day again.We highly recommend this Villa to you .

We really liked the house and the hosts. Near of Noto, Syracuse, beaches...

I liked the house because it is decorated with care and love, making us feel as if staying as guests with friends. The kitchen and the bathroom are definitely highlights. I also appreciated the covered car port that not only keeps the car cool in but also provides parts of the house with shade and makes it cool. This also applies to the many trees around the front porch. Despite the evening and night breezes, I sometimes leveraged the cool air conditioner. The best feature was the nearby access to the ocean, a private cove with flat stones and an extremely clear water that invites to sit and enjoy, or swim. Around Avola there are many sights to visit. The house’s location is well suited to reach them in a matter of half to one hour. Even if the cove proves too private, there are plenty of sand beaches a short drive away. The main difference, though, was the hospitality from Gesualdo and Anna, who are welcoming beyond their duty, and available to provide recommendations for places to visit, sights and food to enjoy, and share with you as you please. Definitely a place to stay again when visiting Sicily.

Our flight into Catania got in late and by the time we had collected our hire car and headed towards the house it was later still. But Gesualdo and Anna kindly met us on the outskirts of Avola and showed us the way to the house, which was extremely helpful. The house had two good sized bedrooms and was well equipped generally, although there wasn't a kettle. When we contacted Aldo and Anna they brought one round immediately! There is a lovely shaded area to the front of the house which is ideal for sitting out at any time of the day, and we did because the weather was just perfect. The single track road to the house was a minor challenge (especially in a hire car) but when you got used to it and knew the places you could pull in it was okay. We would have appreciated some tourist information literature in the house letting visitors know about local attractions, because we wanted to look around the island and our guide book was quite limiting. Most of all the lack of internet was a blow, because we usually research our trips out relying on that as a resource. It wasn't provided even though the advert said it was.

Gesauldo and Anna made our stay very relaxing. Very well equiped kitchen. We had fresh fish everyday. Great swimming, running and a gym nearby with a 5 Euro drop in rate. Palestra New Gymnasium Club.
