Beautiful scenery, newly renovated rooms, excellent food and good for peace and quiet
Nothing not to like! Everything you’d expect from a 5 star establishment.
Staff wise;we did however ask for an early check in and they wouldn’t have us check in a minute earlier than 2pm.
Also, while we waited for check in , it would have been nice for the staff to have offered us activities to do on the farm. We weren’t sure where to go / what to do. A map of the premise / farm would have been nice.

Absolutely everything. The people who work there are so friendly, helpful, and professional. The decor is comfy and elegant, home away from home. The food is exquisite!!!

This is really a big spoil and the staff is incredible. It included an amazing breakfast and we did the 4 course meal, which was an incredible experience

Such an extraordinary property with incredible staff. The rooms were large and modern with old world charm. The food was phenomenal and dinner is conducted as a six or four course tasting menu. The staff were attentive throughout and went so far as to give us a call in the afternoon to ensure we had arrived home safe. I mean talk about going above and beyond!

We visited Hartford for our last couples holiday before we have our first baby, and it did not disappoint! Chef Justin and Mandisi took care of us for most of our stay, and made it so special. Loads of attention to detail, special accommodations, and making the extra effort to make it the most luxurious trip.
We ate so well, we were absolutely spoiled. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous, and the overall atmosphere was so welcoming. Would highly recommend a visit!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Hartford House!!It was the epitome of style, luxury eloquence and magnifence all rolled into one. The food was sublime. Staff were friendly and attentive!! The rooms were lavishly and tastefully decorated too.We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back.

The service was a little slow at breakfast with staff not as friendly and welcoming as in the evenings.
