The house its self was beautiful, cleaned, and well maintained. Everything we might need plus entertainment was available. Joe was a great host. Quick replies and great communication. Our family stay went perfect because of it. 100% recommend to any one looking for a beautiful spacious place to stay at.

The property was gorgeous and the owner was very accessible. Kitchen was large, two dishwashers and abundant cups/plates, pots/pans. It had 5 bedrooms all with private access to a bathroom which was great. It prices as a luxury cabin however there was not soap in the shower or conditioner, there was a fire pit but wood was not chopped etc. The photos make it look like there is a large game room but it’s really too small to play ping pong or pool. It is also a bit out of the way (15 min from downtown)

The property was located in a more rural area of Shaver Lake which made it quite and peaceful. The property was advertised as expected and more than met our expectations. It was clean and well stocked with kitchen ware for large gatherings. The game room was a hit in the evening for the high school students.

This property is perfect for larger groups for there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone! It’s a beautiful and clean home tucked away in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The game room was great entertainment for the kids and adults alike! Barbecuing and eating our meals on the spacious deck surrounded by the beautiful redwoods was simply serene! Our family enjoyed our time in this beautiful home and would definitely rent from Joe again!

Nice place and owner really cares. He checked in a couple times. We did have bears empty trash can night before trash day, but such is mountain life. Part of the experience

Quality home. We had 11 folks sleeping there and it was very comfortable. We ran into the cleaning people on check-in and they said the people before us trashed the house. So they couldn't quite get everything cleaned up prior to our stay. Other than some rather minor issues it was a great place to stay and enjoy family time!

This is our 2nd time renting this beautiful home and everything was clean and organized. Had so much fun minutes from Shaver Lake and China peak can't wait to come back in the summer.

Had a great time bringing our 5 year old son to the snow for the first time. He loved playing the arcade game with his friend. They also enjoyed all the snow.

We wanted a white Christmas, and this cabin was exactly what we needed. Joe was an excellent host, very responsive and very courteous. Gave us a lot of unsolicited advice that made our stay memorable. This was especially so with respect to sledding around the property rather than driving miles away to a ski resort. The house has everything we needed, well stocked kitchen, amazing game room, blankets, towels, etc. we did not lack anything. We are planning to return in the summer to enjoy the decks, firepit, hiking trails, etc. Definitely a place I’d recommend to any large group wanting a quiet get away.

We had a small family reunion of immediate family members. This home was one of few that had enough beds that would suit the many people in our family that are over 6' tall. The owners thought of everything we could want/need. We enjoyed cooking at the home and relaxing out on the deck. It felt very private but we could drive to Shaver Lake in just minutes. It was a wonderful trip and everyone in the family kept commenting on the beautiful home.

Our group travels annually to different places/ states/ countries for years now and this property is on our top five best list! We usually don’t revisit places we stayed at before but will make an exception for this one!

Everything was as advertised, beautiful home, well kept. Joe was an absolute joy to talk to, very responsive and genuinely concerned with the comfort of our stay. This place is absolutely amazing! All of the furnishings are great and there’s plenty of room for everyone in the family to spread out and play uno or sit and talk till way too late at night. All of the beds are soft and comfy and the whole house fan helps keep the place cool. There’s a beautiful short hike just to the south of the cabin that has breathtaking views! If you’re on the fence about this place get off the fence and choose this place, you won’t regret it!

We recently had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home. We loved all the space, our own bathrooms and the game room was a huge hit for our teenage boys and younger daughter! The open space behind the house in incredible and so quiet. Joe is very kind and always available if you have any questions. We will definitely be back! We only wish it was a bit closer to the slopes, but the comfort and beauty made up for the 25 minute drive. Thank you Joe!!

The house was beautiful and was perfect for our large family. each room had an attached bathroom which was great for privacy and the kids loved the game room. The owner was great to communicate with and very accommodating. We will definitely stay there again!

This property is absolutely awesome. From the well equipped kitchen, beautiful deck & amazing communication with the owner you simply can’t be disappointed. We enjoyed the recent snow fall on the huge park like property. There’s a hill to hike up behind the house with the most beautiful views of Shaver as well. The house is so comfortable you feel like you’re in your home & not a rental. We enjoyed staying so much & will definitely be back.

We greatly enjoyed our stay! We built snowmen, went sledding and played in the snow on the large property behind the house. We had plenty of room, great kitchen to make all of our meals in and plenty of fun with the pool/ping pong table! It was the perfect holiday weekend getaway.

I cannot say enough great things about our stay here. It was my husbands birthday weekend and we were stumped with how we were going to celebrate during this pandemic . We live in the Shaver area so we ended up deciding to make a staycation weekend out of it with friends. Very good decision. The home is spacious and cozy all at the same time. One of the few cabins that actually comfortably sleep the guest max they list. Not to mention, every room has its own bathroom which is a rarity. We hired a sushi chef to come one evening and had a birthday dinner with a larger group. (The kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of, including double ovens and double dishwashers). Upstairs has pool, ping pong, tv, and an old school arcade style game that is extremely addictive. Kids and adults alike will never be bored. Plenty of board games and cards at the home as well. A beautiful deck, a short hike up to the rock for gorgeous views, and a fire pit. There isn't anything this home is missing. On top of that, the home was clean, Joe was extremely accommodating and communicative and the entire weekend was a blast. 10/10 reccommend! Thanks, Joe!!

Loved the stay at this stunning cabin! The cabin was so beautiful , it’s was clean, comfortable for our 3 families (2 adults 2 children in each family). The game area was so fun and entertaining as well ! Made some s’mores done by the fire pit and BBQ’d on the back patio area! All while enjoying the snow and nature views. We climbed the rock behind the property and man oh man, the views of Shaver Lake !! Amazing !! We went sledding and snowboarding about 15 min up the hill and we had a blast!! Also, Joe the owner communicated so well and was always available if we needed anything ! Thank you Sir! We would definitely stay here again !
