Wunderschönes, sehr großzügiges Haus in Alleinlage. Traumhaft ruhig gelegen in einem riesigen Garten. Von da aus ist alles bequem mit Auto (was es unbedingt braucht) zu erreichen. Die vier Terrassen machen es möglich, dass man immer einen Platz im Schatten findet. Der Gastgeber ist super freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Es fehlt an nichts. This place is surprising. A big and beautiful vila with a huge courtyard, a garden with vegetables and watermelons and lemon trees... It's breathtaking! The interior is super classy and cozi. But above all is the host who is incredible nice and kind. He was waiting for us with a delicious mousaka and many other surprises. Some famous beaches are nearby. Myrtos, Petani, Xi... It is the perfect place for the perfect holiday!

Nothing to complain of.

Everything about Sunrise Vila is exceptional. One of the places where you can relax and recharge. This is one of the best stays we had during our holidays. On top of that Babbis is one of the sweetest person we met on the island. On the day of arrival, we arrived really late at night but Babbis was waiting for us with a smile. He prepared Moussaka for us and provided us with lots of food/snacks and drinks which was more than enough for 2 people for 5 night stay. The villa has all the amenities available for cooking, washing etc. The garden is big and really beautiful. The villa is exactly as listed on the booking.com. Location wise the villa is few mins drive from Lixouri. No mini market in the village. There is a taverna named 'light house' at the walking distance which is highly recommended from our side. There is also a nice pizza place at walking distance which was also good. Overall, we had a perfect stay and we will come here again for sure. Thanks Babbis for everything and also for the olive oil.

Our stay at SunRise Vila was beyond any expectations. We highly appreciated that when we arrived, the owner welcomed us with traditional greek mousaka (the best homemade mousaka ever, served just out of the oven), a basket full of fresh fruits and a bottle of Kefalonian unique Robola wine and one bottle of Ouzo, the national drink of Greece. Every morning we enjoyed a great breakfast on the terrace. By the way, the house has 4 large terraces. The garden of the house was amazing, plenty of lemon trees, figs and many other sort of mediterranean fruit trees which we could enjoy. The vegetable garden was also left at our disposal. The house is equipped with everything you need, from washing machine to milk frother, sparkling clean, very spacious and comfortable. The location for us was just perfect, 5 minutes away from Lixouri town (much more restfull and relaxing than Argostoli, yet equally charming and picturesque). The most beautiful beaches, like Platia Ammos, Petani and Xi Beach, are also very close, 15-20 minutes away by car. We highly recommend this place, if we come back to Kefalonia, we will definitely choose to stay here again! Thank you so much for your hospitality! Loved it! Efcharistó!

We stayed a second time in this villa and our experience was amazing. The house is suitable for two families with children and has a big yard to play in. The location is also nice, first of all, it's quiet. After Athens it means a lot. You'll have the best sunsets with mountain views. It's 5 min drive to Lixouri, where are supermarkets, tavernas, and a ferry to Argostoli. Petani, Xi beaches are 20min drive, Mirtos is 40min. But Petani is the best! To sum up, looking forward for the next year to spend again here an awesome week.

Large yard with lemon trees and 3 outside/terrace tables. Large kitchen, two bathrooms. Air conditioning in all bedrooms. Owner’s friendliness, went the extra mile to make us feel good and at home, probably one of the best we have encountered in Greece from over 20 trips so far.

One or two of the kitchen closets had a bit of mold which is a fairly common issue with most greek properties. I am a fan of warm light spectrum and plenty of light while most light bulbs here are of a white-blue range, probably a common thing in countries with hot weather.

Everything was amazing. The view, the house, and above all, the kindness of our host. First of all, this might be the best view in Lixouri/Kefalonia, waking up to see the amazing mountains by the sea is a delight for the eyes. The house is clean, calm, stylish, and very well equipped : microwave, oven, coffee machines...etc actually there is a Mokka, a filter coffee machine, and a Greek coffee pot, as well as free Greek coffee... So for a coffee lover as myself this was heaven. The host (Mr Litouris : sorry if mispronounced?) was one of the nicest people we met on the island, we were welcomed with a bottle of white wine and an Ouzzo liquor, and a basket of fresh fruits as well as fresh drinks, juice, soda, beers, bread.. I mean everything and more was there waiting for us in the house. And above all, he came every day to check on us and see if we weren't missing anything, and in the last day he brought us a small gift a Locally made Gelato... So I don't hesitate when I say that he was the nicest we had in Greece and maybe the nicest host we ever had period. If you want to reconnect with nature and with the kindness of Greek people, look no more because this is the place you're looking for. Walid & Oceane
