The staff is super friendly and the bed with mosquito net was very nice.

It’s expensive for what you get

The biggest plus is the host - Jimmy, a very warm and welcoming guy, arranged everything to our liking and helped us with everything that we asked for. also the accommodation itself is really nice although basic and a perfect place to hang out and chill!

Jimmi was excellent making sure guests were happy. He went above and beyond helping other guests who had an unfortunate set of circumstances.

We had a lovely basic room with mosquito nets and an open sea view. No windows so a fresh breeze. Nice seating area with hammocks. Very helpful owner who speaks English . Really good restaurant next door and good pizzaria on the other side.

I loved the owner, so friendly and accommodating. The room was perfect and peaceful.

Fantastic experience, super welcoming host. The room was amazingly large and showed a lovely view from the room to the beach as well as the mountains. The owner's English was excellent (a rarety despite many properties in Colombia saying they speak English), and always prepared to help out in any way.

I wish we had more time to spend there. If ever we come back, we'll be sure to book this place again!

Jimmy was extremely welcoming and helpful. His posada is not quite completed yet and on first impressions you think "What" - however - ignoring the external view - our room was lovely and comfortable and we would definitely stay there again. Jimmy arranged our whale watching tour and organised a car to take us to El Valle to see the turtle rescue centre. Great breakfast and lunch at Casa Negra next door and fantastic cocktails at Hotel Balboa. Had the most amazing day with Madre Agua whale watching - a definite "must do"

The town itself is not particularly appealing and it rains a lot - but the people are really friendly. Flights are expensive and subject to big delays because of the weather.

the owner jimmy and his wife are so friendly and really help u find fun activities , me and my friend watched whales jumping right in the bay in front of the hotel - we watched right from the balcony , i really enjoyed my stay and i will go back again
