The cottage was perfect for getting ready before our daughters wedding and relaxing afterwards. Everything that we needed was there and it was such a beautiful location. Would certainly return to spend more time in Daylesford when we were less busy. Thank you Tony for the ease of check in.

We just loved this cottage and it was beautifully appointed with everything anyone could need. A perfect position, with a view over the lake and the walking track right out the back. Very warm and cosy for a gorgeous winter getaway. I would highly recommend it and we plan to go back again when the weather warms up.

Amazing
The property was amazing. Such a pleasant stay and amazing spot in Daylesford and the owner was super pleasant. Loved the touch of a little basket of nibblies. Would book again in a second.

We had a fabulous stay at Waterside Cottage. The cottage was warm, clean and superbly decorated. The linen was magnificent and the view of the lake amazing...Tony was a fabulous host and his communication was excellent. We will definitely be returning.

Perfect for a weekend getaway
I’ve stayed at this property 3 times now. Twice with a group of friends and once with my partner. Each time I visit the cottage I have an amazing time.
It is beautifully furnished and backs onto the lake. I couldn’t have asked for a better location. It’s only a short walk to the town centre where there are plenty of great restaurants and cafes. I can not rate Waterside Cottage highly enough!

Beautiful cottage by the lake
Lovely property with stunning view from the deck of the lake. Well appointed kitchen and the most comfortable lounges I have ever sat on! If your 6'3 like me just watch out for the door way to the kitchen, cracked my head a few times! Tony was great to deal with also

Beautifully relaxing
Beautiful cottage, stunningly styled. They provide everything you need and more. We loved looking out onto the lake through the floor to ceiling windows on a cold rainy day whilst reading a book on the couch.

Perfect location, charming house
Beautifully situated on Daylesford lake, cosy and charmingly decorated home, back gate straight onto the walking track, short walk to the main street...the only downside was that we didn't stay for longer! Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing home in Daylesford
My friends and I had a wonderful stay in this home. The place is very spacious and beautifully decorated with attention to detail. There is a wonderful deck overlooking the lake and entrance to the lake for swimming is just across the road. Thank you for a wonderful weekend in Daylesford Tony.

Waterside Cottage was absolutely gorgeous! It was in a fantastic location with the most beautiful view across Lake Daylesford.
The cottage was warm and cosy, beautifully furnished and was perfect for a city escape.
I would highly recommend Waterside Cottage and my friends and I can’t wait to stay there again!

The cottage was perfect for a winter weekend getaway. A beautifully styled & cozy home that had all the amenities needed for a comfortable weekend away. Heaven
The house is right on the lake and I can’t really describe how beautiful the property and decor is- it’s a very special place. It’s obvious that Tony and Jenny spent a lot of time and energy thinking about making it a home with such delightful little touches like Aesop hand soap, Dyson fans, DVDs and books galore, picnic blanket, candles (the list is endless). There was also a lot of treats awaiting us to snack on.

Home away from home!
Beautifully appointed accommodation at a spectacular location overlooking the lake - absolutely EVERYTHING we could possibly need was right there at our fingertips. And the beds … SO comfortable! Leave your hectic lifestyle at the front door and be sure to pack your walking shoes - one step out of the back gate and you're on the walking track around the most beautiful lake. Highly recommend Waterside Cottage.

Gorgeous Cottage with Lake views
We loved this cosy cottage. It had a beautiful uninterrupted view from the back deck. Fully equipped kitchen made it easy to self cater.
Short walk to the main shops in Daylesford and even closer to the independent supermarket Tonnas. We enjoyed walking around the lake and surrounds. The owner was really friendly and approachable. Highly recommended!
