We could not have found a better host, location, and oasis to retreat after exploring the city and the country of Iceland. Fantastic spot.

Traveled with my daughter and our first few days in Iceland were spent in Reykjavik. Arsaell's home was a perfect spot to explore the downtown area from. Having a place to park was hard to beat as anything we wanted to do in the area was a short walk and easy access if we wanted to explore outside the city. Perfect, cozy, clean home. The washer and dryer were a nice perk. Although we only spoke with Arsaell as we were leaving, I'm sure had we needed anything or had any issues they would have been addressed without a problem. Seemed a lovely man.

The most perfect spot for our downtown visit. Bed was very comfortable, parking made life easy and we were walking distance to anything and everything we wanted to explore. Great style too!

Very nice accommodation. We did not have a vehicle for our 9 day stay and the location is in walking distance of everything you would need. Perfect for 2 people. We can't wait to come back!

Sali is an excellent host! (We stayed 6 nights and rented a car.) His check-in time is earlier than 99.9% of others allowing to drop off luggage and starting your adventure free from worrying about your belongings upon arrival in the city. There is a dedicated parking space for you in case you’re staying in the city and walking around. Parking in Reykjavik is very expensive! The apartment is very comfortable! All kinds great surprise touches…pantry items, instructions for the washer/dryer, blanket on the sofa, shower items….the little things that mean so much. The location is absolutely amazing…near everything and you can walk everywhere, even the bus terminal if you’re taking a tour. Sali was very response to any questions. The only thing we weren’t prepared for is that he didn’t tell us how much we wouldn’t want to leave😍😂 Kristy & Jeff

This was an amazing location from which to explore Reykjavik for a few days. More than enough room with a very accurate VRBO listing. Everything was as advertised. Enough room that you're not tripping over each other. Great location at the bottom of the shopping district. Close to all major transit lines, as well as the stops used by the various tour companies. Short walk to some fabulous restaurants like Apotek and Food Cellar. A bit further to spots like Dill, Ox and Sumac, but an easy walk or convenient transit ride. Even though we accessed the flat using a lockbox, the owner still checked in to make sure everything was okay and to see if we had any questions. We would not hesitate to book this again when we return.

The apartment is comfortable, well-appointed, well-designed, clean, and close to everything. If you have a car and plan to take road trips, this is a good place to stay because it has a dedicated parking space and is situated in a part of the city that is easy to get in and out of. The host is friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay!

This property was perfect for our needs. It was within easy walking distance of the historic center of town, pubs and restaurants, and pick-up bus stops for tours and transportation to/from the airport. For a studio, the apartment was roomy with a separate, modern kitchen that had a lot of cooking staples available. The king-size bed was comfortable, and the partitioned bed area was quiet for sleeping. We arrived on a cruise ship, and the owner was very accommodating in letting us drop off our luggage early so we could do some exploring before check-in time.

Convenient city center location. Good size for 2 people. Key code and key lockbox location was confusing. Shades could have blocked out more light.

The studio was excellent and I would definitely stay again. Met Saeli on D1. Easy walking distance to everything. The free parking spot was a plus. The studio had many amenities including a kitchen, modern appliances, W/D, Wi-Fi, espresso machine, tv. Nicely furnished. 5/5.

Saeli’s place is spacious compared to our next stop! We loved the bed! Location was terrific- close to everything. Washer/dryer was a bit hard to figure out but we did. The seat cushion in the kitchen bench was a terrible fit but overall that was a minor thing. We would stay there again in a HEARTBEAT! It was quiet, calm, easy access for excursions (Bus stop#1) was only 2-3 minutes away and it had an overhang for rainy mornings. We were amazed at the geothermal heating throughout the whole town.

Beautifully decorated and maintained. Walking distance to marina, restaurants, food markets, Harpa Concert Hall. Great place to stroll around town. Big bonus is the dedicated parking spot as parking in town can be limited and expensive. We stayed for a week and traveled to Vik and the Golden Circle daily. Had the best time!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this beautifully appointed and comfortable VRBO. We immediately felt at home. Saeli was super friendly and very accommodating. The location was perfect for enjoying Reykjavík. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

We were very excited about our Iceland vacation and so pleased with the apartment that Sæli provided. The building is 100 years old and Sæli has completely renovated it in the past 10 years. It is a spacious studio with super-comfortable King bed, large living room, fully-equipped eat-in kitchen and an extra-sized bathroom with washer/dryer combo. The location is a short walk to downtown restaurants, museums and shoppes. There’s parking for 1 car available. Would definitely stay here again. 3/19-3/23 2023

Our stay was wonderful Sæli is so nice. We did not want for anything. The bed is extremely comfortable, the bathroom is spacious, the kitchen is great for meals at home, and the location! It’s absolutely perfect. We were so sad to leave.

This is a unique and very cozy property. All pictures and descriptions are accurate. Off street parking in central Reykjavík is a definite plus. Property management is outstanding.
