A wonderfully cozy home steps from the beach. It’s big enough to accommodate a large family. Peace and quiet provide us a few days of relaxation and my daughter her love for the beach and ocean. Mauna responds immediately and is super helpful with all needs. Highly recommend a stay here!!!

This is my 4th time at this house and it is perfect every time. The hospitality of the host makes the experience enjoyable before you even arrive. The proximity of the beach is the best. I can't wait for my next stay

The unit is located in a great location but it needed thoroughly cleaned. There were many hairs in the bathrooms and dust and dirt in all the corners. There were only 3 roll of toilet paper and only soap/toiletries in one of the bathrooms. There are “leftover” items in bathrooms but not fresh or new. The linens were very random and most of the pillows had no pillow cases. The silver wear was dirty! Hardened egg on spoons. The door handle to the front door kept falling off. The manager was very prompt and polite in replying to my messages and someone brought over one pack of charmin and two hotel soaps. We ended up sharing shampoo and conditioner I bought. The maintenance person fixed the door handle as well. Very expensive stay for what you get.

We had a wonderful time! This place was perfect for us. Walking distance to the beach, stocked home, clean, and accurate description. Communication was great and check in and out was super smooth. There’s construction on the property next door but the team was super gracious knowing we had little ones and didn’t do any loud work until after we left.

The location was close to the beach and the biketrails. The villa was bigger than other ones I have stayed in at Kiawah. We loved our visit and the villa was perfect for us. Thank you.

This was the perfect villa for us because we love the beach. This was a very short walk to West Beach. It was so well stocked- including beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards! The owner was great about communicating and addressed all of our needs. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice property for a weekend get away.

We enjoyed our stay in care with this location. It was very convenient to the new convention center in this part of West Beach. The unit was absolutely as described and very close to the beach, but also private and quiet.. I certainly would consider staying again, and the host was very accommodating

Everything was great and as advertised!

Perfect for our weekend getaway with young children. Short & easy to walk to beach, rent bikes & not to far to drive to main Kiawah grocery store. Hope to return before too long!

Great condo and location for anyone running the marathon

Great location, just a few steps from the beach access and community center (the Sandcastle) on the island. It is very close to the front gates to enter Kiawah which makes it easy to get in and out for easy access to restaurants/stores. Perfect stay for a weekend getaway with plenty of bathrooms and beds!

Completely enjoyed our stay in Kiawah Island- this villa is located in a gated community with beach access and golf course. The villa itself is very nice, spacious and completely comfortable. The owner was incredibly responsive to any questions I had (like “is there an ironing board and iron” - YES there was!) . The neighborhood itself was quiet and traveling with my elderly mother felt completely safe. I would 100% rent this location again!!

This was exactly what we needed for the weekend! Mauna was also an excellent communicator during our stay.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this property and that should say enough. The owner is absolutely wonderful. Very attentive and extremely helpful. The property is a stone’s throw from the beach, and warm and cozy overall. I wish I could stay all summer long. Everything is as advertised.

I have visited Kiawah Island many times in the past. Therefore I have experience at staying at houses and villas. The pros of this property included a location near the beach and the W. Conference Center. The cons include the following. Mold and dirty bathrooms in the upstairs master. Small ants in the upstairs separate bathroom they were on the counter and in the basin. The upstairs side table in the master bedroom needs repainting or replacing. There was no upstairs separate thermostat at least none that we could find resulting in very warm and uncomfortable nights. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable for both upper and lower rooms. Road noise and nighttime headlights shining into the property were annoying . Language in the contract stating in bold type that you’d be fined if you don’t wash dry and fold beach blankets I thought was unnecessary. Some of the furniture seemed very worn. Doorknobs should be replaced with more modern types. The door knobs we encountered were probably from the original house. I would appreciate a response to the above. Thank you

From booking all the way until checkout, our experience with Mauna and her property was top-notch. The house is clean, cozy, and most importantly just a short walk to the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. I would highly recommend this property to others visiting Kiawah.
