I stayed at Casa Bianca with my children for a much needed break for us all. We absolutely loved the home. Such a gorgeous place and the outlook onto the water was beautiful. Thank you for allowing us to use your home for some much needed R and R. I have already told friends all about it who are keen to come along and stay some time. Plenty to do and everything you need is available. Kids loved the break away and fished everyday and canoed. We will definitely be back one day.

A huge thank you to Marianne for hosting us at short notice. We booked a weekend away to relax with family and friends. The location is unbeatable - just a few metres to the lake ! The house is lovely with everything you could need. Tastefully renovated and in such a great location. We sat by the lake watched the calm waters and listened to the breeze in the trees. With barely anyone around it was perfectly peaceful.

What a lovely place to spend time! The house was right on the edge of the lake and peaceful and serene. The house was sparkling clean and the kitchen overlooking the water, was modern and well equipped. We enjoyed our short stay thoroughly!

The property is perfectly positioned right on the lake, with great access for boating and fishing. We really enjoyed the fact we were able to launch our small boat right next to the house and moor it safely on the lakes edge. We especially enjoyed having a drink whilst watching the stunning sunsets. The property is beautifully decorated and well appointed, having everything possibly needed. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Clean and spacious property that's well appointed and thoughtfully presented with comprehensive information booklet. This waterfront house will quickly feel like home as you enjoy the wonderful sunsets, watercraft, birdlife and the ever-changing lake vistas. There's plenty of scope for outdoor activities, games or walking along the reserve. The lake is totally accessible as mere metres from your back door and sit on the deck and enjoy nature. Local shops a short stroll away or Woolies is only 8mins away by car. Highly recommended.

Immaculately clean, beautiful house in a gorgeous location

Smoothly and efficient booking, responsive owner. Lovely property with a beautiful outlook. So comfortable age mazingly well-equipped with crockery, cutlery, hand towels, laundry, games, Wifi and numerous streaming services, kitchen basics. It provided a wonderful stay with friends, with absolutely nothing lacking. Outside verandah was perfect, interior was spacious and really comfortable. This would be marvellous even in bad weather. Thoroughly recommended.

The best "Home away from home".

Photos do not do justice to this recently and beautifully renovated property. The property itself is spacious, clean and very well equipped. The views are amazing - so tranquil. We were able to access the water for kayaking etc right in front of the house. We ate outside everyday on the large outdoor entertaining area. A very short walk to the local shops for supplies and takeaway meant we didn't have to go anywhere in the car, though we did do a couple of visits to Caves Beach. Plenty of books, magazines, games and balls etc to keep everyone entertained. All in all, a most wonderful break - thank you Marrianne!

Impeccable home and furnishings. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and especially loved the coffee pod machine. Great outdoor entertaining area. Beds all comfortable and great air con over the weekend when it was 40 degrees each day. fantastic sunsets. Only negative issue i would say we didnt catch any big fish from the backyard. also watch out for those sea urchins in the water. Great place hopefully i will stay again in the future.

It was ideal for our need for a COVID-Safe break from Sydney - the kitchen and living area and large covered veranda all looked over a lovely part of Lake Macquarie - separated only by a very quiet waterfront reserve with tall trees and grassy areas that were perfect for our purpose. The house was very well set up with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen (including staple condiments, oils etc), and entertainment options that included a smart TV with streaming services, wifi, indoor and outdoor games etc.

Marianne thank you for sharing your wonderful house the view to the lake was fantastic and relaxing, being able to catch a couple of good flatties from the waters edge was awesome. We will definitely be coming back .Once again nice house great location and a great host. Regards Wayne &Vicki

A few things that could have really lifted our stay rating 1) Gas bottle for the BBQ was empty as was back up 2) We were provided the wrong code to check in so couldn't get in the house for a few hours. 3) The neighbour was very noisy having significant arguments with his partner. Very loud screaming 4) Home is still being renovated, needs a hand rail on the steps and there are stars that protrude into the hallway forming a trip hazard. 5) Host was told by neighbour we had additional guests which was not the case. We stayed in the area as family live up the road. Having to explain this was annoying and made the stay feel not private. Host was very responsive to emails and sorted all problems quickly. I think host is new to platform.

We enjoyed an amazing weekend on the banks of Lake Macquarie in a delightful lakeside home. Everything we could want was provided - an ideal venue for two couples. Would highly recommend.

Kids enjoyed it, loved everything about the house and a great view of the lake. We would love to came back.

We loved the place and surroundings, it has all the facilities and more than expected amenities. The photos don’t do justice to the real property and the outdoors. Can’t fault it and the owners have made the whole process very easy. It is a loved and well kept place.

Perfect June long weekend with family to spend my birthday. House was well equipped. Warm and felt like a home. I feel like these are standard words as the house exceeded all expectations. We would love to come back!

We enjoyed our stay and appreciate the extra touches like kids books and toys, a fully stocked kitchen and the little row boat. The neighborhood is quiet and the setting is perfect for bird watching. The local food shop and restaurants are within 4km too.

Was really hot when staying there however air conditioning worked great and the fan and mister outside was perfect. Great spot to sit late afternoon with a beer by the water. Only issue was lake felt like a spa bath so didn’t swim there much but the beach was close enough.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was large and the two showers made it much easier. We loved the water access.
