The room was very run down. The carpet was so dirty my kids feet would turn black in a matter of a few minutes after their baths. No safety locks on the sliding glass doors. Dirty dishes in the cabinet. The towel rack in the master bath was broken. The room didn't stay cool due to the fact you couldn't turn it below 72 degrees. You could tell projects were half done or done poorly. Room overall was dirty. When we got there I took Clorox wipes and wiped all the counter tops off and the wipes were black with filth. Unreal how dirty it was. Comforters had a musty odor. The 2 carts to bring your luggage to your room were being used by employees and we're not available for almost 2 hours after arrival. The elevator was slow and very warm. Honestly it was the worst rental we have ever rented. The amount we paid for it was absolutely not worth it. We do not mind paying but would expect to get what you paid for. I was embarrassed to even have my family there. Location was good. We will not stay here again.

The good. Sheets were clean. The management company left extra trash bags toilet paper bath towels and dish tabs. The location is good for John’s pass and the beach. It is nice that the building uses a code so that only people with the code can get up to your condo.

The bad. This is a horribly outdated condo. See photos. There is duct tape on the cabinets. It is dirty and worn out. Couches are dingy and stained. The front bedroom has super nasty bedspreads. They are worn out and dirty. The back bedroom has new mattresses but they are hard as a rock and the headboards are loose so anytime you move they tap the wall. The window in the front bedroom doesn’t lock. The sliding door doesn’t lock. (Thank goodness for that building code) There were no baking sheets and only 1 pan in the condo. The toilet paper holder in the main bedroom is mounted so low the paper is constantly on the ground. The tile in both bathrooms is dirty from wear.

The noise from the road was so bad we slept with ear plugs the whole time. I would stay here again ... if this were the absolute last condo on the beach.

If I had to guess the owner of this unit has never actually stayed here.

Had a GREAT time at Beach Place. Love coming here every year. I will not rent this unit again. Needs to be updated with more kitchen utensils and appliances and newer beds that don’t make noises when you get in. Everything else is superb. I will just get another corner unit.

Our condo was the perfect location to shopping, dining and the beach. Everything was in working condition and spacious indoors. Can’t wait to come back every year!!

We have stayed at beachplace in the past, we love the closeness to the beach and Johns Pass Marina, however, our condo this time wasn't the best. The beds were VERY uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. It made for terrible sleeping. When someone is on vacation they want to sleep well. The floors were dirty, I always clean when i am there but it was impossible to clean the dirt in the carpets. The kitchen was ok but could use extra and updated utensils and amenities (ie 4 slice toaster, new tea pot (rust on other one and not useable), the bathrooms were dirty and felt unclean. Loved the balcony, however our sliding door did NOT lock and with no SAFE in our condo we had to take everything with us at all times. Decorations were sub-par - renovations would do this place wonders. I have seen other condos here and this one is at the bottom along with #200. I would not rent #204 again unless it was redone with LARGER, MORE COMFORTABLE beds. Furniture was old and musty - BUT staff is great to talk to.

Disappointed in Unit 204 where we stayed at Beach Club in Maderia Beach. No linens for sofa bed. Insufficient silverware for 5 people, insufficient spatulas and decent cooking utensils or serving utensils. nable to obtain more clean towels, had to use sandy or dirty towels or wash them or bring them from home. Traffic and bridge too noisy.Loose headboards and noisy banging the walls just barely moving they would bang. Mattresses very cheap and noisy even barely moving or trying to get out of bed. Insufficient towel racks for 5 people. Front door dirty with brown(?) spots.(rust?) Each time I asked anything the reply was "this is not a hotel" No icemaker in unit, was told there were icemakers in the units. I tried to see the unit prior to check in but unable to see it. We would have been happier possibly in another unit that was better equipped. We had to wash silverware each meal to have for the next meal. Cheap plastic headboards and mattresses need to be replaced

Noise from traffic on Gulf Blvd was very loud and annoying also late night pool goers (1am) on a couple of nights woke us with their loud screaming, laughing and yelling. Pool area was monopolized during the day by a large party with a lot of alcohol flowing, cigarette smoke, cigar smoke and very loud country/western music blasting on their speaker, for several days of our stay. Add to that the dead fish smell from the red tide and it was an unpleasant stay.

The wi-Fi is not very good, it's so slow. The kitchen was not very equipped, didn't have hardly anything, no hot pan holders, no electronic frypan, no cookie sheets. Our condo is in serious need of updating, especially the kitchen and bathroom. Every bedroom needs to have queen beds, full size beds just do not have enough room for 2 adults.

We had several inconveniences. #1 was we could not use the main bathroom due to a toilet leak. The floor was flooded. With 8 people this was difficult. #2 The Freezer was not working. Our ice cream was like soup. #3 the furniture was worn and very dirty.

Although it was nice to be so close to John's Pass and the beach the noise was horrible-- one bedroom was flooded with the busy traffic on the bridge and the other bedroom was right be the elevator and trash chute. The condo was large and had plenty of space, but it was very dated and worn. Carpet and the sofas were dirty. The beds were not comfortable (mattress and sheets) and the kitchen was minimally furnished. There were no blankets and no bedding for the pull out sofa. I am sad to say, that i would not consider rebooking.
