Couldn’t have asked for a better location to celebrate with family in the mountains. Gorgeous home. Modern. Spacious. Absolutely perfect.

We have a men’s golf group and we need 10+ beds, which can be very difficult to find. This home had more beds than we needed, and nobody felt squeezed into their spaces. Giant open area in living room/kitchen space was great for hanging out together and watching sports or movies on a large screen tv. Speaking of tv, all streaming services were available, we just had to enter our own account info. Plenty of bathroom and shower availability, and owner provides all towels. Lots of parking on site as well. The only drawback is that is is tricky to find, as google maps was a little off in this rural area and the driveway wasn’t obvious. Owner Brad was as good or better than any rental I’ve ever had, and I’ve been arranging group rentals for years. He was very quick to answer all questions via email, within minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

Our group had a great time! The house was in a nice location close to Lincoln and had plenty of space to accommodate everyone. The views and house were beautiful.

Family weekend stay at this fabulous home, everything was as stated and the owner provided clear instructions and flexible. The home was clean and fully stocked. Our family enjoyed the spacious living/dining area and multiple bedroom options. Evening were enjoyed at the firepit looking at the mountains. Perfect family weekend.

We had a great time. The house is close to the hwy. Very private. Nice view in the back yard. Nice deck and grill. Kitchen has everything you need. Many beds. Nice downstairs with plenty of beds. It’s perfect for a family with lots of kids. Close to Woodstock town. Very easy checking in and out. I can’t wait to stay there again.

We only stayed here for two days but it was fantastic! It had linens provided which was a huge plus for us. The beds were extremely comfortable. The home had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back!

We took our large family here for a summer getaway and had an unbelievable time! The house was amazing, many rooms and space for all to spread out. It was very private and had a gorgeous yard. We enjoyed the spacious backyard and stunning views from the porch. Would definitely go back again!!

The home was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen for our breakfasts and take-home dinners. The back yard was fabulous--private, quiet, and an awesome view of the stars each night. House was conveniently located to Franconia Notch, Rumney, and the towns of Woodstock and Lincoln. Communication with Brad was excellent. He was very flexible and super-responsive. The upstairs bedrooms are on the small side. House is awesome for a family with lots of kids or 2 families with kids. Three couples (and a couple of singles) weren't as ideal. But the location, the yard, and the ease of working with the owner more than made up for the small bedroom. We would stay at the home again!!

This house is wonderful for a family vacation. We have stayed at The Bear House twice now. We love it. Every room is spotless. It has all the comforts of home and has 3 full bathrooms! There is ample parking. The kitchen is modern and well stocked. We have made amazing memories there. There is plenty of space for the adults, teens and kids. The open floor plan is great. Give Bear House a try. You will absolutely love it. The owner is very attentive too!!

The house was well supplied with what you needed. The hill in the back yard was great for our grandchildren to slide down in. It was great to have 2 baby cribs also. The house was clean and the owner was easy to get in touch with. Very peaceful surrounding. We will book agin in the future.

Clean, perfect location! If you have little ones still in the crib, it would be perfect there are a couple cribs and toddler beds.

The house was exactly what we needed. Plenty of beds and very roomy. We had 5 women on a weekend trip to hike Lafayette. The deck and backyard were perfect for lounging and relaxing after a very difficult (but awesome) hike! We had everything we needed and the process was very easy. Brad answered all my questions promptly and we really enjoyed our girls’ weekend! Would definitely come back if in this area again.

A few friends stayed as part of a golf weekend and we enjoyed our time. Plenty of space, clean, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit outside as well.

We all arrived here at separate times and already was taken away by the scenic view from the patio. Area was very well lighted naturally. Our family didn't really go nowhere much, but just had good conversations about memories and helped us reconnect with one another to understand the value of family once again. We've talked to the neighbors, introduced ourselves. Rick and Jean were very polite. There was some restrictions that we wasn't aware of until the last minute, but we were able to figure something out. The night skies was wonderful and peaceful, which helped in relieving stresses and issues my family was having towards one another. All in all, the 4 days stay was well worth every penny. Now our family bond is stronger than ever, and relationships between one another has gotten better as it should've been. Thank you Brad Kent for such a wonderful stay. My family was excited, and happy. It's their first time, and as I planned out this trip to help everybody to love one another again was a success. I cant thank you enough for this.

We were able to find everything with minimal fuss. Owner was easily reachable and checked back to see if we were doing well. Kitchen and cleaning materials were available for use, and our group enjoyed playing pool in the few moments we had at the house. Thank you again!

There was a beautiful view from the house. Since the living room was big we spend most of our time in there or on the porch while we were at the house. It was very peaceful and relaxing, it was the perfect weekend vacation after a stressful month. I wish we could’ve stayed longer because we didn’t do all of the activities there were near the house.

My family and some friends spent the weekend here to skii Loon. Great spot with plenty of room and a very friendly and responsive owner. The backyard has a nice hill that my kids went sledding on too!

The house was great, lots of room & beds for our party of 12. Very clean and well maintained. Took about 20 minutes to get to Waterville valley and close to restaurants. Would highly recommend

Clean and comfortable cabin for large groups and families!

I liked everything about the house and the owner was easy to reach. Only recommendation would be to replace sheets and mattress pads with ones not so stained. House was very clean and had everything you would need. I would recommend.

Very nice home, with lots of room. Easy access to trails and other attractions in the white mountains.

White Mountains trails and many attractions only minutes away. My family and I enjoyed swimming in the river, hiking basin trails in Franconia State Park, and playing mini golf at the Hobo Railroad. In the evening, it was nice to come back to the Bear house were we had dinner on the deck overlooking the mountains, toasted marshmallows over the fire, and last but not least unforgettable games of ping pong and billiards. Would definitely recommend renting this property!!!

Our family had a great experience at this comfortable, spacious home in North Woodstock New Year's week. We skied at Cannon and Loon mountains and snow shoed right in the backyard of the home. The owner was very responsive to my questions. We would definitely vacation there again!

Very spacious house. We were very comfortable there! It's also close to Loon Ski Mountain resort so a big plus for us. Only issue we had is the fact that we don't wear shoes in the house so when we were at in the basement, 2 of my kid did step on some carpet nails when they were playing ping pong. As the area where the backdoor tile floor/carpet meet you can feel some of the carpet nail. So we end up having them wear sock so they don't get hurt. But other then that, house was very clean and comfortable!
