Stairs to the apartment. One key and no way of locking or closing the door from the inside without the key. Could have done with an extra bath towel only two provided for three guests. Maybe a few more mugs and a tea towel in the kitchen. Minor details. Very happy with stay overall.

Excellent location in Cadiz.

Central location, bright and large space, enough room for whole family to spread out. Kitchen and laundry facilities were helpful. Apartment has a lot of character and charm.

Apartment feels fragile: old doors that get stuck, loose tiles on the floor, a slow drain in the shower, many uneven areas on the intricate original flooring. There were also missing amenities: no paper towels or napkins, only one laundry detergent pod. We were there only 2 nights, but with 2 young kids at the beach, we needed more than one laundry pod. There were also signs posted from the neighboring apartment about keeping all noise down. Can't really blame the neighbor, but it's hard to tiptoe around for 2 nights with energetic kids.

A great apartment in a strategic spot of the historical centre. Marvellous living room and master bedroom, bright and beautifully preserving the details and materials of the traditional urban construction crafts of the region. Brand new and modern bathroom. Communication with the hosts was good (via WhatsApp), and on arrival we received excellent suggestions of places to eat, etc. and even a clinic for Covid testing for our departure flight ("La Salud", excellent service!). Our requests were promptly met (extra bed linen and fixing the toilet seat). The number of interdiction messages displayed around the place (mostly about keeping quiet) was a bit intimidating, but is indeed a necessity due to the architecture of the building: you will hear everything from the drunk crowd on the street downstairs to your neighbours snoring. We would have appreciated being met up at the apartment, but getting the keys at their office nearby was not an issue (especially since there is some check-in paperwork to do).

The entrance area of the building is dark and austere (also due to the garbage being stored there). With the typically tall ceilings, the access stairs were exhausting! The staircase needs renovation and the railing appeared dangerous, especially for active kids. As much as the living room is delightful, we found the bedrooms facing the inner yard a bit dull and not very clean and comfortable, with improvised furniture. The bedrooms only have fans. The kitchen is far from the dining table and the fridge was not very clean. There is only one bathroom. We were not sure whether the entrance door was spartan on purpose or just neglected. As in other parts of Andalucia, what is advertised as double beds might be quite tight even for average-sized adults. There was some confusion regarding the booking: for some reason, when booking, the ages of the children were recorded as "zero". When we pointed this out to the host before arrival, they promptly expected us to pay 15 Euros extra per child per night - which we eventually did. Our later note, that a test booking online showed no difference in price with or without those children resulted only in excuses and half-hearted promises to investigate the issue still during our stay (which led to nothing).

The apartment was very nicely decorated and was very large. It had everything we needed including air conditioning and a great wifi connection. The location was also good, right in the centre of the old part of Cádiz.

The host did not make an effort to find an alternative to get the keys to us as we were to arrive after 8 pm. Instead, they were going to charge us 40€ without having stated this on Booking before the reservation was made. Overall, I did not appreciate the sneakyness with which they tried to overcharge us.

Great location and lovely old appartment . Lots of light in the bright large sitting room due to being at roof level . Interesting architectural features , large doors , shutters , windows easily open to let in the sea breeze .

Be aware as the appartment is at roof level there are lots of stairs to get up there . The only problem for us though was getting into the appartment building .. we had a lot of problems with the front door lock ! On one occasion getting someone from the agency to open the door on another asking a member of the public to buzz another appartment to let us in .
