The house is absolutely beautiful. Nice quiet neighborhood. A perfect spot for get together with old friends. The kitchen has everything. Unfortunately the skiing was bad. Rained! But we really enjoyed the house!

We had a very nice stay in this beautiful home. The house is very comfortable and had every thing we needed. The guest house was perfect for our son, wife and baby to have their own space but be close. We brought our two dogs along and they enjoyed the fenced in yard to be able to stretch. The Kingston house was clean, comfortable and convenient location to town and hospital. We did have to travel with a couple large trucks and parking is a little tight but we were able to fit! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home in beautiful Bend!

We stayed there for 3 nights with family, the main house and the back house were both great. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were comfortable. The one critique that I have is the living room couch was not comfortable and not the couch pictured in the photos.

Loved the well designed super clean home. Good location for walking to restaurants and to trails/paths like the West Bend trail. Really good use of space to make everything seem roomy and comfortable at the same time. Hosts were very responsive!

We loved staying here - it was so comfortable, clean, beautiful, and fully stocked with things you didn't even know you would need! We stayed with my mom, small dog, and four of our kids ranging from 7-17 years old and it was so spacious (my mom stayed in the 4th bedroom studio in the back). We loved hanging out in front of the fire, reading, watching football, or playing games. Location is close to everything and very walkable. Meg was quick with any questions we had and just fantastic to work with. We will definitely be back.

This was our second vacation at the Kingston House. The house really suits us well: large modern kitchen with multiple work spaces; open layout to living area; master bedroom on main floor; additional dwelling in back with family room, bedroom, half bath and mini-kitchen; and best of all a totally fenced in front and back yard for your dog. The central location makes it a real pleasure to walk to Backporch Coffee, Newport Market, many restaurants and even downtown. This is the best lodging option we’ve found through our years of visiting Bend.

The Kingston house was such great find for our group! Meg is very responsive and flexible. The house was very clean and has great layout. The location made it easy to walk to restaurants and shopping and also close to trailheads for hiking/biking.

Great location, we easily walked to many places. However, we did uber to locations too. We hiked beautiful places almost every day. The area restaurants are outstanding. Our favorites were The Victorian Cafe for breakfast and The Wild Rose for the best Thai food, simply amazing. We also had awesome Mexican food too. And of course the enormous selection of delicious microbreweries was great!!!!!! If you don't have fun here, you are no fun at all.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor space to hang out it. Owner communication was great. Everything you need is here if you want to cook. Location is great to walk to restaurants and even the grocery store. Everything was accurate to description. The beds were all real beds, no air mattress or pull out bed. Best part was the simple check out directions, no long lost of chores! Highly recommend!

The property was perfect for hosting multiple generations in that the backhouse gave the younger adults some privacy and their own hangout space. The location of the house is great. We would definitely rent here again if we return to Bend.

Thanks for a great vacation experience. We had 3 small things that we noticed might improve other people’s stay. 1. Only some of the stove tops work and the burner on the left closest to the counter constantly clicks (trying to light) when any of the stove knobs are turned. 2. The sink upstairs doesn’t drain very well. 3. The soap dispenser N21 in the master bathroom doesn’t work. Thanks for giving us a place for a fun family vacation!

When we walked in the door, everyone said "wow, this place is really nice." We spent more than a week here, with our adult children, daughter-in-law and grandson, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We want to come back next year. The main house has a well-equipped kitchen with eat-in breakfast space, a comfortable living room with fireplace and big-screen TV, and a good-sized dining room where we had family dinners. The primary bedroom opens onto the back yard and includes a large walk-in closet and bathroom with separate tub and shower. Two upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom, and there is a small sitting area at the top of the stairs. All the furniture and furnishings were in great shape, beds were comfortable, anything we needed was there apart from our own food, of course. Our son and his family, including a teenager and an infant, stayed in the casita, giving them their own private space away from the main house and its hustle and bustle. We set up cornhole and giant Jenga in the backyard, cooked out on the gas grill a couple nights, and had drinks in adirondack chairs in the front yard. All so pleasant. The house is just off a fairly busy street, so it's easy to get around town, but it's quiet and peaceful inside the house and in the yard. We saw deer almost every day, and one day watched a deer munch its way through the front yard. Sorry about that, hosta plants. Too tasty. Newport Market, brewpubs, restaurants and shops are all close for walking or driving.

Loved this house. Tall ceiling and open concept worked great. Small back house gave a bit of privacy for my son’s family and a quiet place to put granddaughter to sleep while adults stayed up. The location was great and just a quick drive to anywhere we wanted to go. Beautiful dining room area for special celebration dinner. Kitchen well equipped for preparing said dinner. All in all a perfect weekend.

We came to Bend for Spring Break and stayed at this property. It’s a great walkable location and close drive to Mt. Bachelor for skiing as well! The house is well stocked and great sleeping arrangements as well. Would definitely stay again!

The Kingston house is such a beautiful home!! Perfect location, close to all the fun spots, like 10 barrel , Victoria cafe and cute shops. This house feels so warm and welcoming. It's our 2nd time staying here and we would love to book again soon.

This house was beyond perfect for our group celebrating my 30th birthday in Bend. The home is cozy and spacious. The fenced in yard was perfect for my pup and the back house was great for hanging out and playing shuffleboard. We could not have picked a better house. Location is ideal - easy walking distance to great bfast and lunch spots. We hope to be back soon!

This house had everything you could need for families. Gates for the stairs, kids dishware, a baby monitor, and things I don’t normally expect in a rental. The extra space in the backyard was perfect for fun and games and we will definitely be coming back. The ability to walk everywhere was amazing also!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Kingston House. The home was impeccably clean when we arrived - even the silverware in the kitchen was arranged so nicely in the cupboards! The house was honestly even bigger than we expected, and just a very inviting space to spend time in. Location felt extremely safe and was fantastic for walking to 10 Barrel, coffeeshops, and dinner. Our dogs loved the yard, especially when it snowed! we plan to make Bend an annual destination and we will be planning around the Kingston House's availability, no doubt

Such a cozy, lovely house for the Christmas holiday! You can't beat the location -- so close to all the shops, restaurants and things to do in Bend. The daily deer sauntering by were also SUCH a treat! The kitchen is a dream and Meg was an amazing host who accommodated everything we needed!

The Kingston house was great for our extended family get Together to visit our 21 year old son who lives in Bend! The house is easy walking distance to restaurants and some shops and close to the old downtown and Mill district. It was clean, well equipped and furnished, the beds were comfortable and the back house was perfect for our two teenage sons. Nice yard that is fully fenced and private and plenty of parking for everyone. We will stay here again when we come back to Bend!

The house was beautiful and made such great use of space. The guest house in the back was perfect for our teens as well and was a fun place to play games and hang out (and get time away from them!) The yard was fenced and perfect for our dogs too. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking items needed. We stayed in December and they had the cutest Christmas tree up and some holiday decor as well - made it feel very homey. The communication was great with the owner and was very responsive. The best aspect of this house is that it's close to all the fun bars, restaurants, and Newport Market - the best market in Bend. Highly recommend this house to rent in Bend, any time of year!

This was the perfect location for everything we needed. Walkable to a market and restaurants, and central to both west and east Bend areas of interest. The entire process was smooth, the home was spacious, comfortable, and had so many thoughtful (and lovely) touches! Fully equipped kitchen. Kids loved the large bathtub! We had a group of 7 and had plenty of space to spread out. Would absolutely return and highly recommend to others visiting Bend!

We were so glad to have found this perfect Bend home. The house appears brand new, or maybe recent total renovation. Everything is top quality, well appointed, and tastefully done. The beautiful kitchen is large, and well stocked, with a huge marble countertop for food prep or eating. The beds and pillows are comfortable. We were about 5 minutes from everything we wanted to do this weekend, even in the snow. We contacted the owners a couple times during our stay, and they are super responsive and helpful. We definitely hope to return!

There are so many pluses with this rental. The location is perfect with a few blocks walk to Newport Market and Back Porch Coffee in one direction and Galveston Ave. with restaurants in the other direction. Downtown is a doable walk or short drive. The open layout of the house is great for socializing and it is a dream kitchen. It is spacious, well-stocked and organized. The fully fenced front and back yards are perfect for dogs. The back guest house accommodation is a nice option if you need extra sleeping space or just for extra family room space. We appreciated the master bath in the main house with 2 sinks and separate shower from tub. If there were one minor suggestion, it would be to add a floor lamp or table lamp to the living room area for reading as an option other than the ceiling lights. We would love to come back again in the future.
