A real crush for Shamba lodge. If you are looking for a really local and charming place, this is the one for you. The staff is just amazing, smiling, helping whenever they can. The room is simple and comfortable, the wifi is good and the breakfast is prepared with love. Everything is just like the island, beautiful and welcoming. Those who are looking for luxury should skip it ;) Thank you Marta and all your team for the wonderful moments we had.

Great clean, bright, comfy room for a fair price, off the beach a bit but only a short walk. Hot water pressure pretty good. Kind and helpful staff.

No restaurant or bar on site but plenty aroind the area.

The place and the owner (Martha) was amazing! She helped for everything, and she was very nice and friendly. The room was ok, the beach is nearly, everything was awesome Thank you Martha :)

Spacious room and bathroom with toilet. Marta is great host. Nothing is problem 🙏 Property is very private as it have only 4 rooms.

Location is a bit further from part of beach where we wanted to swim so we walked. For us it was fine as we like to walk, but for somebody it could be far. We did not managed to control air condition. It cooled too much. Think controlling unit was NOT working properly.

I liked everything starting from the location of the house its near to everything or any activities u want to do, madame marta was so kind and helpful she helped me in everything, the room was so clean, breakfast was so delicious and healthy and especially the spanish breakfast, i recommend shamba lodge for anyone who likes nature and simple beautiful things.

Breakfast was very good . A lot of Fruit , pancakes , eggs , bread . Nice position , in a quiet area very close to the beach . Marta has been very helpful and gave us a lot of advises . We really recomend this place

everything was great

Breakfast - a bowl of fruit - great. The next course - pancakes, omelets, scrambled eggs. It would be a good idea to expand these three options by 2-3 extra- cereal, yogurt plus some juice. Eddie - very helpful, friendly. Very nice, rooms cleaned every day, linen changed every 3 days. There are shops, restaurants, villages nearby.

The breakfast was great! The location is very quiet, 10 min walk from a popular beach. The hostess was just amazing! We liked it a lot!

There were some issues w electricity sometimes, but the hostess fixed everything very quick, so nothing really bad)

Shamba lodge is a peaceful, quite and very c friendly place. The rooms are well-maintained and are cleaned every day. The breakfasts are included in the price and are the best in Zanzibar! The accommodation has wonderful location. It is close to the ocean (just 2-3 min of walk) and is the next door to Baraka Aquarium where you can swim with turtles. There’s also a zoo very closely. The lodge is far from noisy and crowded places so you can feel yourself secluded and secure. The lodge will suit both families and couples or lonely travelers. The administration and the staff are really kids-friendly. The special word should be said about the owners. Marta is a very polite, generous and kind person. She is very attentive to all her clients. You will feel safe and secure, for sure! Asante to this wonderful place and people!
