This is a fabulous home situated in lovely neighborhood, with easy access to places in Venice and Santa Monica. From the moment you walk inside, this stunning home is filled with light and art. We traveled with our family, including a toddler, and we enjoyed the openness ability to enjoy time together in the main area. The access to Abbott Kinney and the nearby Canal Market were especially nice. The owner was very helpful and super responsive when we had questions. The home combination of modern conveniences with some vintage charm. The primary bedroom is its own retreat - fireplace, office area, huge closet, and a shower with the best water pressure ever. Great stay with plans to return.

There were 7 of us and we enjoyed the home! I would say the listing accurately reflects the home. We didn't use the washer/dryer or the ping pong table so can't speak to either of those things. Parking was never an issue which sort of blew my mind. We always found a spot for our HUGE rental SUV. Close proximity to so many great spots! Be sure to visit the boutiques on Abbot Kinney! Was a great time!

This house is beautiful and located in the perfect spot in Venice! It’s walking distance to canals, beach and Abbot Kinney. The amenities were great and Philip was very helpful and responsive.

Highly recommend this home! Plenty of space for our group of 10! It was a quick little trip to the beach, Abbott Kinney, restaurants, shopping and to the Venice boardwalk. There are plenty of things to do close by! We didn’t need to rent a car, just used Uber for places that we wanted to go that weren’t within walking distance. All around a wonderful place and host! Highly recommend and plan to return!

This spacious home was perfect for our wedding weekend. The beds were comfortable and tons of space for 8 people. The kitchen was stocked with all things needed to cook.

Phil is very helpful and responsive.

Our extended family came to visit our 2 children attending UCLA. We were very impressed with the house and thought the residential neighborhood was very safe and quiet. We walked to the corner store for coffee, walked to Abbott Kinney as well as the Venice canals. The bikes were good for riding to the beach and along the strand. Easy drive to UCLA, Mailbu and airport. On street parking was plentiful. The 5 bedrooms worked great for our party of 9. The common space on the second floor was perfect for family meals, games and watching some football games. There was plenty of cooking pots/pans/serving dishes, etc to cook a big meal. Bonus room provided some friendly ping pong matches. Owner was very easy to communicate with, would highly recommend this home.

This house is amazing! Wonderful location that allowed us to get where we needed to be for our competition, as well as ease to get to restaurants and grocery stores. Could spread out and all be comfortable without being on top of each other. Quiet neighborhood. House was super clean, beds comfortable, and great layout of the property. Philip was a great host! We come to LA for this competition every year, and we will definitely look to stay here again next year.

What can I say. This was the perfect home for our family of 9. We were all in town for my daughters wedding. The location was prefect. Convenient to Santa Monica and Marina Del Ray. The house was spacious and allowed our family to hang out together in the great room. The younger family members rode the bikes to the beach and Santa Monica. They also walked to the beach one day and took scooters back. Do not hesitate to book this property. It is exactly as described. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Philip’s home was beautiful, and he was a great host!

The home was fantastic and fit our needs perfectly. We were a group of six adults, two babies, and two dogs and there was plenty of space for everyone. The layout of the home was great for us and was overall very cozy. The neighborhood itself is great -- super nice and quiet, and about a ~10 minute walk to Abbot Kinney and ~15 minute walk to Venice Beach. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

We rented the house for our daughter’s LA wedding. The rest of our kids and the mother of the groom stayed with us and the house accommodated us all easily. The house itself was comfortable and well appointed. It felt like a luxury vacation spot not just a rental! It was obvious that a lot of time and effort went into making the house feel like an upscale home, not just a house, which we appreciated. Location wise, it was perfect; not far from the beach and shopping and the neighborhood was quiet and well kept. If you stay, be sure to enjoy the sunset from the rooftop patio- it was amazing!

This home has every thing one needs for a delightful stay. I Had my adult children and 5 grandchildren ages 10 thru 16 having a most enjoyable stay. Its a beautiful home , picturesque and spacious. Room for all ,Nice privacy, and luxury for the master.Exactly as pictured.

Our whole group -- five adults and two young children -- very much enjoyed our stay at this charming Venice property. Philip was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the check-in process, and clearly put a lot of TLC into the design and maintenance of the home. What we loved the most: each bedroom is well-proportioned and comfortable, sunny and open common area, perfect location (away from the more hectic bits of Venice, but within walking distance to the beach, canals, shops etc). If we had to find fault, two areas of improvement: (1) there is quite a bit of street noise throughout the night in the bedroom closest to the street, (2) the sink in one of the bathrooms downstairs doesn't drain well. All in all though, a fantastic stay and very well-run property -- highly recommended.

Our two families shared a wonderful week with plenty of room and a perfect space for sharing meals and time together. The location was convenient to Abbot Kinney, Erewhon, a coffee shop and walkable to the beach. Parking was on the street was plentiful and easy. We would definitely love to stay again in the future!

Stayed here with family for my sister’s grad school graduation. We were 5 adults and 2 kids. The place is beautiful, spacious, located in quiet part of Venice with ample street parking. Interior is boho chic, cozy and comfortable. Bedrooms were all nicely sized with comfortable beds. Bathrooms also spacious and in good working order. We loved the rec room downstairs - and played lots of ping pong, played on the piano. A bit of constructive feedback. The kitchen, while very spacious and nice to relax in, was not really set up well for cooking. While most of the essentials were there, they weren’t in the greatest shape: pans were scratched and there weren’t many of them, only one small baking sheet, and a lot of the plates and pans needed to be washed before use. Also, in the kids room, the smoke detector was dangling from the ceiling, and the window in the main bedroom had a broken mechanism and wouldn’t close. All in all minor things. Overall we loved our place and the stay. The host was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this place!

We had a lovely weekend! The property is a short walk to the Venice Canals and Venice Beach. We enjoyed using the bikes for a morning beach stroll. The rooftop lounge area was relaxing and the home felt very private. Philip was easy to reach—we needed a few more wine glasses and they were there within a few minutes! I really loved the openness, nice breeze, and natural light. Thanks for sharing your home.

This beautiful home in Venice, CA was the perfect setting for our holiday getaway. Plenty of bedrooms and baths for everyone to be comfortable and the open concept living area with gourmet kitchen allowed us to be together and share our holiday traditions. Close to great restaurants and lots of tourist sites. We felt right at home!
