First and foremost, very clean and amazing customer service. We had one minor issue, totally our fault, and management responded immediately. All home codes worked perfectly, extremely easy in and out. It is a bit loud until 10:00 pm…it is Key West! Roosters for sure, again….Key West! Would go back for sure.

Delightful place. Very convenient

Right out of the gate, there was no response to my questions to the owner but my deposit became non-refundable within 24 hours of booking, so I was stuck. An answer was finally received 2 weeks later, which as you may expect was moot by then. Other communication was never answered. It would have been helpful to understand that the check-in location is almost a mile away from the condo. Without a car, that is a problem. They will store your bags, but you have to go back to get them at 4:00. The really objectionable part of the stay was the lack of cleanliness in the condo. The floors were filthy. The bedspread had a muddy dog print on it and so did the blanket underneath. The furniture was covered in pet hair. We vacuumed the furniture ourselves but still used the beach towels to cover the furniture so that we could sit on it. I texted with someone to notify the manager of my complaints, but nothing was done. They kept responding that they were checking into it. That is completely unacceptable. No one ever followed up. Next time I stay at a nice hotel.

This villa is the perfect location for a downtown KW experience. You can walk everywhere and see everything. Nice property. Had everything we needed.

The apartment/condo was a perfect central location to enjoy all Key West has to offer - attractions, food, activities, etc.

Came to key west to hang with my wife for a few days. This condo was GREAT! It’s soooo close to everything we wanted to do.

Frontier Flat is a perfect location to be in town. Our second time staying here, and we hope to be back soon!

This property was huge compared to every other stay in Key West. We were well located to many restaurants and bars that have the food and drinks we enjoy.

Nice little quaint appt. Located close to the heart of key west duval st. Very entertaining sitting on the balcony watching people walk by day and night. The only con i can think of is their is a new restraunt/bar next door and played music very loud till about 11-12 pm. So it not a early to bed appartment.

This is second lobsterfest in a row staying here and again it does not disappoint. Location is great and apartment is very comfortable.

Very noises, can't sleep there. Roosters start at 4 and go to 830 am. Someone with a blower starts at 6am including sundays , street sweepers in the middle of the night. The place needs a little TLC and pest control as we found some unwanted guests in kitchen. Trying to check in and get into place isn't easy

Place was clean, spacious, and a fantastic location. We walked along the harbor every day and didn’t need to take a single Uber except to and from the airport. As other reviewers have noted, the roosters are loud, but we knew that coming in. It was so hot that we didn’t get to take advantage of the balcony as much as we’d like. Overall an awesome stay!

Property Manager was on the ball with info with checkin . Where to get key , Codes what door to use. Here is our checkin day: We find property immediately get into our Frontier Flat so excited to be on island that we have never visited. We were in flat for 5 minutes and the neighbor comes barging in .”did you take my key?” No we didn’t take your key why would we ? We have our key not your key . We shut the door . Two seconds later knock knock . Hello . Two men our at our door . We are plumbers to rip up your toilet and reseal it . I’m like what . Yes we have a leak downstairs so we have to rip up your toilet and reseal it . I said we just checked in no one told us anything . They just help themselves in . I was furious! I called the property manager and she told me no one should be at your property . We immediately locked our selves in the bedroom and thought just what is going on. The plumbers told us it would take 15 minutes. Well they were there an hour or more. We didn’t know what to think . I was terrified. Just landed on a strange island two strangers coming to our door and property manager didn’t have a clue what was going on. The plumbers thank goodness we’re very polite and reassured us this was an emergency and they were legit. They apologized to us and understood our concern. So this is why I will not give this property manager 5 star. The property needs a good deep cleaning . It is just brushed over lightly with the cleaning . There is no directory in flat.

Very good location, clean and comfortable. Love the outside porch. Great to sit out there looking over Front St. My dog loved it.

Everything about the property was great. Clean, comfortable, bright, and close to everything. Entrance is on the side of the building which initially was difficult to find, but that was a minor negative. I would stay here again.

Other than the rooster crowing every morning at sunrise it was great!

We stayed at the Frontier Flat for 3 nights during spring break. The stay was more than comfortable, the unit had everything we needed to make our coffee and breakfast in the morning, just don’t expect to be making any elaborate meals, as the kitchen is stocked with the bare minimum for cooking utensils. The private front balcony was great for enjoying our morning coffee, or even an afternoon cocktail. The location cannot be beat, directly across the street from major waterfront resorts and a 2-3 minute walk to Duval or Mallory square. When we arrived, it took some time to check in to the unit, as there are two separate door codes -one for the exterior entry door lockbox(in an alley), and the hallway entry door to the unit. Once we figured out the lockbox, we arrived at the unit entry door with the incorrect code. Property management answered our call quickly and resolved the matter within 10 min. But do beware that you will likely fall into the same situation, as we read this same problem happening to other people in other reviews. Even though we were frustrated by this minor hickup, the stay was excellent and would definitely stay again.

The location is awesome. The docks are on one side and duval street on the other side! Very clean. Bed is comfortable. Lots of space for a traveling couples. The balcony was our favorite place to relax and do some people watching. Definitely booking for next trip!

Located within walking distance of all the main attractions of Key West. Three blocks from the hop on-hop off trolley, Margaritaville on Duvall is about a 10 minute walk….five minute walk to Sunset Pier for “sundowners”, live music and great drinks! Parking was not as bad as the listing says it is, but, be forewarned that the Parking Patrol was at our car at 8:10am(all overnight parking expires at 8am) as we were leaving for the airport! The balcony was an excellent place to watch the activity on Front Street. One small complaint and not the owner’s fault, is that the next door neighbors put out chicken feed for the birds, including the roosters that are everywhere in Key West. Today, one of the roosters couldn’t wait for sunrise and started crowing at 2:30am, we think he was trying to tell the neighbor that he was hungry and needed to get up and feed him! Anyway, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will stay there again when we return to Key West.

Great spot! Very clean, fantastic balcony, close to everything! The only downfall is that we needed to bring our cooler up and buy ice because the fridge has seen it's last days. Hopefully a new one is coming!! Other then that, GREAT PLACE!!!

When we arrived there was no key in the lock box but the cleaner was leaving so we got in. I called Vacasa and told them we had dinner plans and I was assured there’d be a key in the box by time we got back. Got back 3 hours later. No key. Was not contacted. Now my dog is locked in this apartment and it’s almost 9pm. We sat outside for an hour while I guided the cs rep on next steps because she seemed not confident in what to do. An hour later we were given the lock box code for maintenance keys. I was promised (again) I’d be contacted the next day to make this right and now it’s been 4 days and we’ve been checked out for 2. The flat is a nice flat with a cool balcony in a great location. I hope if you book it your experience is better than ours.

Very nice clean place. Close to duval with all the local attractions close by. Would of gave it a 5 star rating but the tub drain was very slow to drain and showering standing in your old water is not ideal for me. Also day of check out exterior cleaning crew showed up at 6 am and started walking around on the balcony hitting the glass patio doors and walls with the garden hoses, then proceeded to fire up the pressure washer and start cleaning a short time later. I understand they have work that needs to be completed but at 6 am?

This place is very comfortable, and was very pleasing and calming to stay many days. But the best part overall is it’s prime location. I also enjoyed many many hours on the huge balcony.

Overall our stay here was excellent. We rode the key west express here and it wasn’t a bad walk down the docks. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, our teenager slept on the pull-out couch and he said it was comfortable. Please note there is no parking here so if you drive or rent a golf cart you will have to pay for parking. The only glitch we had was when we arrived, the code to get in the outside door didn’t work. However the local office had already communicated how to get ahold of them and they were very responsive and got us the right code quickly. I had noticed that same problem in another review so I would think they would correct that. Overall, we loved our stay here!

Roaches, dogs barking and sitting in the hot sun with two kids and 2 dogs because the key was not in the lock box and we waited 2.5 hours for someone to show up. Worst VRBO ever and we use VRBO a lot
