My husband and I had the best time at this property for the month of March. This beautiful roomy property is on a quiet dead-end street and is only a short 5 minute walk to a big dog friendly beach. You are also only a 10 minute walk to a coffee and ice cream shop, 2-3 restaurants, and a great gift shop. The backyard is fenced, and it also has a large screened in porch. All the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the bathrooms are beautiful. The walk-in shower in the main bathroom has smartly placed grab bars for us older folks. We found a wonderful church that was a lovely 20 minute drive away lined with live oaks dripping with Spanish moss. Our Host was so accommodating; I asked if there was a blender at the property, and she made sure we had a new Ninja blender. I really would like to add a lot of negatives, so people won't pick this property because we want it available for us again, but there are no negatives.

Location, location, location! The house is very close to the beach and just a walk away from great places to eat. It was the perfect place for us, and our four-legged family LOVED the fenced backyard! You’ll have no problem relaxing when it’s time to rest - the bedding and pillows are very comfy. Would definitely book again if we return to SSI.

We had a wonderful stay at this property and Patti is an excellent host. The location is ideal with an easy walk to the beach, King and Prince, restaurants, and shops. The house's layout is perfect and includes everything you need, and we appreciated the brick walled back yard and Weber Grill for dinner at home. The beach chairs and cart make trips to the nearby Myrtle Street beach access a breeze. We can't wait to come back!

This little home was perfect for our family! Plenty of space in the living area, great kitchen, and bedroom space for the kids. Great location, 5 min or less walk to the beach, and a short bike ride to the village. We plan to be here again next year!

Owner is always very kind and prompt to answer any questions. An added bonus is the fenced backyard for the convenience of our sweet dog. The kitchen is very well appointed, best I’ve ever seen! Location, location, location! Just a block from the beach on a quiet street, this house is the perfect spot for a getaway to St. Simons. Everything is clean, bright, and updated, including a very well-equipped kitchen. My dog loved that it was pet-friendly with a fenced back yard. We had a great visit!

We have found our winter home! Patti’s place is just wonderful. Great neighborhood, neighbors, location, very clean quiet and comfortable. We have done a lot of vrbo stays and this is one of the best! Patti is great and very responsive to whatever is needed and quickly! Loved being so close to the beach and village. Looking forward to staying again next year!

This was an amazing home! Fenced in yard was lovely and thoroughly enjoyed by our dogs. Cottage was a block from the beautiful beach and close to the downtown village. Restaurants we tried were excellent, especially Crabdaddy's and Fiddler's. Plan to return to this cottage next year!

This rental really had everything we needed for a great holiday week getaway. The size of the house was comfortable for the five of us, and our teenager enjoyed the bunk beds. All rooms are very nicely renovated and comfortable, and the location was excellent, on a quiet street only a block from the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Great experience and would highly recommend!

This beautiful, quaint cottage is a vacationers dream! We had one of the most enjoyable vacations ever! The cottage is well appointed - decor, bedding, and the kitchen is very well stocked. We especially loved the close proximity to the beach and restaurants! The beach wagon is definitely a bonus for transporting the beach paraphernalia with ease. Loved that we could take our sweet dog. Owner is exceptional - very "hands-on" and responsive to all inquiries. Highly recommend this cottage for your dream St Simon's getaway!

Beautifully decorated and quite spacious for our family of four. The description of the house and area is spot on, and it is literally a minute to the beach, which was such a perfect location! We did a lot of fishing, both at the nearby pier and right up at the beach- with more luck staying by the house and fishing there! Quiet neighborhood and lots of space at the beach. Overall an absolutely perfect vacation!! We would love to return again and this will surely be our “home” when we do. 😊

Overall good stay. Dog poop in back yard when we arrived and I had to clean that up. Property with smell as if someone had been smoking although it is a no smoking property. Easy walk to the beach and near lots of restaurants.

Property was very clean, especially for being pet friendly. The layout was perfect for my family of 5 (including 1 tween, 2 teens). We cooked most meals at the house and had everything needed. The location was perfect. It was actually easier to walk to the beach access point near the house rather than pack everything up in the car and haul it across the beach, which is what we did the first day. The other thing I want to mention was the service. I had contacted the owner before we left asking if there were beach chairs available, and she responded that there were, as well as a wagon. So we left our wagon at home. When we arrived, the wagon there was broken (missing a wheel), so I contacted her asking where I could buy one locally. She had a new wagon at the house within an hour!! I was not expecting that because it wasn't even listed in the amenities. She definitely went above and beyond :). If this house is available, book it now!
