Highly recommend this property for a stay in the Lake Placid region. Communication with homeowner was prompt and clear, and check in was a breeze! The cabin was spotlessly clean, very cozy, warm and welcoming. The decor matched the surroundings and gave the house an upscale, rustic feel. All the appliances worked great and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, glassware, cookware, etc. you could possible need. There were even spices available in the cabinet! The wood burning stove/fireplace was great, adding warmth and charm to the living area. Some wood was provided by the homeowner...and more wood was easily available to purchase at nearby stores. The location was convenient to virtually all of the attractions in the area, with drive times generally less than 15 minutes. 5 STARS+++

Our stay was wonderful. More than we expected, everything was perfect!

We are hikers so we are looking for a place to lay our head, shower and make some food and cold drinks or hot. Beautiful house and well stocked. We tried using the fire pit but the bugs were bad and the citronella candles were all gone so we just retreated inside for drinks and playing cards. Thank you Jason & Dora for sharing your get away place with us.

Perfect location and property for a family stay. Close to town and all of our planned stops while feeling like a cabin in the woods. Generous hosts that provided clear and detailed information that made things easy for our trip. Highly recommend!

The property was fantastic. Very quiet and nestled in the woods. Just what we hoped for a cabin in the woods. Plus it was only a 10 minute drive to Lake placid.

Lovely location, but stairs were an issue for elderly people. Once inside, the surroundings were exceptional.

The property had a log cabin feel in a cottage style home. Very quiet neighborhood with privacy. Location was fantastic. 15 minutes to Lake Placid and 5 minutes to the center of the town of Saranac Lake. Ample accommodations if you want the deep woods cabin feel without being away from civilization. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again in the future if the opportunity presented itself!

My husband and I took our parents away to boat in the Saranac Lake region. The weather was spectacular! We enjoyed our stay at this home - where it was easy to prepare big breakfasts before setting off on our adventures for the day! We did not take advantage of the fireplace (not needed) nor the outdoor firepit - but that was due to the presence of black flies and mosquitoes! They too, it seems , were enjoying the exceptionally warm weather that weekend! Great home - provided all we needed for a relaxing get-away!

Very clean, well equipped and cozy cabin in the beautiful woods. Perfect for family getaway in the Adirondacks. Comfortable beds and living space and a short drive to all that Lake Placid has to offer. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

The house was very easy to rent. It was very charming and rustic. It was clean and the landlord was easily accessible. We would rent it again if we decided to go back to the Lake Placid area. Thank you.

This log home was one of the highlights of our very enjoyable week long stay in Saranac Lake. It has such natural, rustic beauty. The views of the woods outside each window add to its inside beauty and peace. There were 6 adults, 2 toddlers and everyone had room to spread out! The very large lower level bedroom was perfect for my daughter's family of four at the end of the day. Her two toddlers (4 & 2 yrs) had loads of fun inside and outside of the spacious, clean, well kept home. After our daily Adirondack adventures, we enjoyed returning to its comfort and peace. Grocery stores and restaurants were not far. We would love to return to this peaceful log home!

Great location. House was very clean and stocked with everything you need. Property is quiet and very pretty. Enjoyed the fire pit. We took our dog with us and had a very good experience.

Great wonderful place !

We truly enjoyed this house- the layout is perfect with a cozy living room/kitchen space. The downstairs bedroom/bath gave our teenagers/young adults the perfect private space. We enjoyed our time playing games, watching movies, cooking (kitchen was extremely well- stocked). Family wants to return in the summer so we can enjoy the kayaks, firepit, etc. Thank you to Jason for hosting this terrific home!

Perfect home to celebrate the beginning on 2022. It is close to Whiteface Mt and Lake Placid. The home is very well maintained. We loved that our teen girls were able to have their own space downstairs with a TV and bathroom. We hope to rent this lovely home again soon!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this "cabin". Close to town, yet far enough that you don't deal with all the traffic. House was immaculate, and well stocked.

Very nice cabin. Clean, safe, and convenient. Very close to town and Owner communication was excellent. One note = do not forget to bring your own towels... ;0). The shower door in upstairs bathroom is a bit tricky, you just have to provide a little bit of upward pressure on handle to close completely. Great place to stay... would highly recommend.

Great location, in a quiet neighborhood, close to both Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Made a wonderful base for hiking adventures with our two dogs. Lots of amenities, everything you need for a memorable Adirondack vacation.

Wonderful location that feels remote but is a short drive to downtown Saranac Lake or nearby Lake Placid. Also a good central location for hikes and other attractions in the area. This is one of the cleanest rental properties we've stayed at. It was comfortable and well-equipped. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for the kids and wasn't musty despite being below grade. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks/canoe on the nearby ponds and lake. The house became a bit warm during one of the hottest weeks of the summer, but the fans and the screened porch helped with that. A very enjoyable stay.

Great home base for hiking and seeing the sights!

The home was comfortable and clean on a beautiful property in a great location - close to Saranac and Lake Placid.

Completely private well maintained home located right outside of Saranac Lake and 10-15 minutes from Lake Placid. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were able to bring our dogs which was a huge plus. Our host communicated well the property was nicer than even described. We made use of the gorgeous fireplace anytime we weren't enjoying the many outdoor activities in the area. Highly recommend this property and host and we will look to book again in the future!

Property was spacious and comfortable. Perfect location, just close enough to activities and shops but with nice wooded property that was quiet and private. Kitchen and living room were great for evening card games and reading after a long day of enjoying hiking and outdoor activities. Appreciated the attention to detail and all the home supplies provided.

We had a great experience with our house. It was just beautiful. It was very clean, everything was shoveled and the walkways were clear of snow. Very close to Saranac Lake. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I hope there is an opening for me next year.

The house is simply amazing! It looks and it is more functional then one can see in the pictures. Easily fits 4 adults and 4 teenagers. Very secluded area however very close to downtown Saranac ( and other attractions that we wanted to explore). It is thoughtfully stocked with all of the necessities. This was our first stay in the area but we truly hope to return . Thank you for renting your house to us!
